Today many corporations converge clients' needs and IT technology, and then they are developing new service model in order to survive global situation. The changes of manufacturing industry from simple manufacture to industry for focus on services is getting speeded up, because not only growth of service part but also enlargement in creating value in services is expected. And services through collaboration with knowledge based service and only manufacturing industry is important. In this situation, this thesis is willing to propose methodology for Inter-Industry Collaboration Service Model. The proposed methodology includes procedures which develops service model, plans for Inter-Industry Collaboration Service Model and evaluating framework. Also, this applied case studies. I look forward to offering useful guideline on the proposed methodology in this study to corporations that try to create new service model through Inter-Industry Collaboration Service Model.

CASE tools are complex software products offering many different features. Systems professionals have evaluated various CASE products from a feature and attribute basis. Each product has a different mix of strengths and weaknesses as perceived by the end user. Specific CASE tools support different steps of the applications development process as well as varying methodologies. In this paper we develop a method for evaluating CASE tools. The model has an analytic hierarchy process for evaluating CASE tools in terms of functionality, management efficiency, and support ability of provider, and a data envelopment analysis for overall evaluation considering cost and AHP results. We applied the developed model to a real world case study.

The concept of ubiquitous is being applied on diverse industry fields as a new growth engine in Korea. With constructing u-City, new services which are called 'ubiquitous services' are developed actively. Even though there are active movement to develop u-service, there is no clear definition of what service can be defined as ubiquitous service. Given that this study proposes a u-service value classification framework focusing on services' characteristics. We conducted experts' group interviews to analyze new operating or developing services whether it can be ubiquitous. Study results show that some services are hard to be defined as u-service, so this study offers possible improvement alternative. The u-service value classification which offers clear definition of u-service can be used for the practitioners offering measurement framework of u-service level.

This study examines the motivation, opportunity, and ability in the use of the internet by comparing young and aging consumers in the essential infrastructure of an information oriented society. Previous studies have conducted surveys about using computers and the internet instead of measuring the digital divide by using multilateral approaches; however, this study examines digital divide in terms of motivation, opportunity, and ability. Results suggested age, gender, and education level influenced motivation, opportunity, and ability in the use of the internet by consumers; in addition, the motivation and ability were different depending on occupation. The results show that the digital divide was mainly influenced by motivation and ability in offering a difference between the two groups of young and aging consumers, This study contributes to illuminate the differences between young and aging consumers to use the internet and to suggest implications in the perspectives of motivation, opportunity, and ability.

Multimedia applications and especially encoded video services, are expected to playa major role in the 3rd generation (3G) and beyond mobile communication systems. Given that future service providers are expected to provide video applications at various price and quality levels, quick and economically affordable methods for preparing/encoding the offering media at various qualities are necessary to be developed. This paper presents a method for objective evaluation of the perceived quality of MPEG­4 video content, based on a quantification of subjective assessments. Showing that subjectively derived perceived quality of service (PQoS) vs. bit rate curves can be successfully approximated by a group of exponential functions, the proposed method exploits a simple objective metric, which is obtained from the mean frame rate vs. bit rate curves of an encoded clip. The validity of this metric is assessed by comparing subjectively derived PQoS results to the corresponding ones, which come from the proposed objective method, showing that the proposed technique provides satisfactory PQoS estimation.

개인 인증 보안은 온라인 시스템에서 사용자 인증 서비스를 사용하기 위한 중요한 수단이다. 본 논문에서는 사이버테러 대응 목적으로 온라인 인증서를 효율적으로 활용하는 방법의 일환으로 이 논문에서 설계한 SOL이라 불리는 알고리즘을 온라인 전자거래 인증에 적용하기 위한 방법을 설계하고 구현해 보았다. 이 결과는 각종 인증서의 효율적인 관리와 활용을 통해서 정보화 시대의 근간을 이루고 있는 온라인 인증에 대한 서비스를 보다 효율적으로 이용할 수 있을 것이다. 특히 SOL은 특정 목적을 지니고 운영하는 소규모 단위의 온라인 시스템에 호환성을 가지도록 효율적으로 접목시켜 상호 호환하여 사용할 수 있음을 본 논문을 통해서 알 수 있게 된다.

화학공장의 취약점을 파악하여 안전성을 경제적으로 확보할 수 있는 대안에 대한 설비별 안전투자비용과 그에 따른 편익을 산출하고, 분석함으로써 경제적인 안전 투자 대안을 사업주에게 제시함으로써 안전투자 의사결정의 기초자료로 활용하도록 한다. 이를 통하여 화학공장의 안전 활동 및 안전 투자의 효율성을 증진시키고 안전성 향상을 위한 화학공장의 안전투자가치를 정립하기 위함이다.

This study is about color-image of chilled noodle packages. The improvement of living standard has lead the development of food industry, which has changed consumer's way of thinking toward food products and made clear the preference for food which was obscure before. In the past, the the right of choice for the products were not given to consumers in the market. But today, the market initiatives have been transferred to consumers. They are allowed to purchase their favorite products as the markets provide them with diversified products. Consequently, the importance of package design has increased. Color-image of chilled noodle packages stimulates consumers to purchase the products by offering necessary information which is very important as it is supposed to provide consumers with a good impression about the products.

When quadrature error exists, the shape of the M-ary phase shift keying (MPSK) signal constellation becomes skewed-elliptic. Each MPSK symbol takes on a different symbol error probability (SEP) value. The analytical results presented thus far have been derived from studies which examined the SEP problem assuming that the SEP of each MPSK symbol is equally likely; therefore, those results should not be treated as offering a complete solution. In this letter, we present a new and more complete solution to the SEP problem of MPSK by relaxing the above assumption and finding the expressions for the average as well as individual SEP in the presence of quadrature error.

The different calculated quantum chemical descriptors by DFT method were used for prediction of some sulphanilamide Schiff bases inhibitor activity as a binding constant (log K). Multiple linear regression (MLR) and artificial neural network (ANN) were employed for developing the useful quantitative structure activity relationship (QSAR) model. The obtained results presented superiority of ANN model over the MLR one. The offering QSAR model is very easy to computation and Physico-Chemically interpretable. Sensitivity analysis was used to determine the relative importance of each descriptor in ANN model. The order of importance of each descriptor according to this analysis is: molecular volume, molecular weight and dipole moment, respectively. These descriptors appear good information related to different structure of sulphanilamide Schiff bases can participate in their inhibitor activity.
