해운환경 변화에 따른 해기사 교육의 개선책 (A Study on Improvement Measures for Mariner's Education and Training with Changes of International Maritime Environment)

  • As the education of maritime college has a characteristics of seafaring professional institutions, the potential benefit following from the employment of seafarers would put substantial impact on it. The socio-economic position of seafaring occupations has been deteriorated considerably with changes of ship's auto-mation, specialisation and low cost operation management of shipping companies through severe internatio-nal competitions. The quality and number of applicants for the maritime college has declined and most students have no hopes for the study of seafaring subjects which followed bewildering in their college days. However, the demands for seafarers are fairly large from the viewpoint of national maritime industry. The maritime institutions should not only meet these demands but also revitalise students by reforming the educational contents. The contents should be influenced by the social approach to educational needs in particular maritime shore-oriented subjects. The maritime education is no more restricted to the sea, it covers the land based world of the maritime industry as well. The new contents will lead the maritime educated students to the shore-based occupa-tions after finishing their seafaring if they want to. This may not only make ways to the maritime educa-tion fruitable, but also the students have a zeal and hope for the subjects taught.

경영정보 관련 학과의 교육과정 설계와 운영 방안: K대학 e-비즈니스학과 사례를 중심으로 (A Study on Design and Operation of MIS Oriented Curriculum)

  • Purpose To meet changing social demands and fulfill the needs of the information and communications technology industry, the curriculum of MIS related department should develop and implement new conceptual frameworks. In response, the purpose of this study was to develop curriculum for students in the Department of e-Business at Kyungnam University. Design/methodology/approach We conducted a demands analysis of educational demanders, NCS(National Competency Standards) based curricular analysis, and benchmarking from other management information systems related departments. The expert panel committee consisting of e-Business department faculty members was held to examine and discuss the student-oriented curriculum developed during this study. Findings Results show that the contents and types of curriculum should be organized so that students can maximize their professional job competency to apply to their core professional tasks. Given these findings, we reconstructed the curriculum with both basic and advanced courses, all systematically organized according to the job requirements they offer toward meeting the industry's needs. We also implemented the web-based JSSS(Job Searching Support System) with which educational demanders can search among 13 job types, estimate their performances, and obtain the information about course registration. In all this study presents specific, practical evidence of the job-related curriculum for students in the Department of e-Business at Kyungnam University.

산업체 수요를 반영한 AI 운영학과 교육과정 개발 -C 대학 사례를 중심으로 (Development of a Curriculum of Department of AI Operation based on Industrial Demands -Focusing on the Case of C University)

  • 근래 인공지능 기술이 비약적으로 발전하고 이에 대한 관심이 폭증하는 가운데 인공지능에 대한 교육이 다양한 분야로 확산되고 있다. 이에 따라 많은 대학에서 인공지능 관련 학과를 신설하거나 정원을 확대하는 실정이다. 이러한 추세에 맞춰 C 대학에서는 지역 내 산업기반에 맞추어 AI운영학과를 신설하였다. 본 논문에서는 신설된 AI운영학과를 위한 교육과정을 개발하였고, 이 교육과정은 AIOps(Artificial intelligence for IT Operations)에 기초하여 산업체의 수요를 반영한 교과목을 중심으로 설계되고 개발되었다. 이를 위해 산업체 전문가와의 협의체를 구성하여 자문을 구하고 설문 조사를 통해 의견을 수렴하였다.

국내 남성 패션 유튜버 및 패션 콘텐츠 특성 연구 (Characteristics of Fashion Contents of Domestic Male Fashion YouTubers)

  • This study analyzed characteristics of domestic male fashion YouTubers and fashion contents in accordance with the need to analyze various content demands and testes of male consumers in the fashion industry. Using literature research and fashion expert evaluation, characteristic factors of fashion YouTubers were derived and the popular content of fashion YouTubers was classified by subject to analyze contents according to characteristics of YouTubers. Based on literature research, ten representative male fashion YouTubers were evaluated by fashion experts. Characteristics of male fashion contents in Korea were derived from attractiveness-friendliness, friendliness, professionalism-friendliness, and expertise. Contents of male fashion YouTubers were mainly composed of styling contents that could feed back daily looks, fashion-related information contents, and Vlogs. They mainly dealt with daily fashion coordination evaluation made by YouTubers. Based on the proportion of fashion information easily accessed by ordinary men through single fashion item's recommendations, shopping know-how or styling tip was mainly dealt with. This study was significant in that it analyzed characteristics and contents of male fashion YouTubers according to the need to analyze various content demands and tastes of male consumers who have recently emerged as an important consumer group in the fashion industry.

Estimation of Freight Trip Generation Rates based on Commodity Flow Survey in Korea

  • In Korea, almost 700 industrial parks are under operation. Generally, industrial parks consist of national industrial parks and local industrial parks which are managed by a central government and by local governments respectively. The developing countries such as Korea, China and Vietnam etc. have constructed many industrial parks, which result in the change of land use pattern and also affect future trip demands. Therefore, in estimating traffic demands, it is very important to consider the industrial park development. This study aims to improve the methodology in estimating a freight trip generation rate with the data based on a nationwide commodity freight survey. The result showed that it is desirable to apply freight trip generation rate by the industry sector in estimating freight trip generations and using the production area of firm as an indicator. Specially, the reliability of the rates through a survey could be made sure because a sample rate based on firms in industrial parks was over 25% and the response rate was over 67%. The sample rate and response rate are very superior as compared to surveys conducted in many other countries. Because industrial parks have significant effects on forecasting transportation demand in pre-feasibility studies of transport and logistics projects, it is expected that the accuracy of freight trip demands would be improved through the results of this study.

  • New cities and industrial complexes are being developed actively according to the government's policy. To determine the size of investment, number of power lines and substations for stable power supply to newly developed industrial complexes, the accurate estimation of power demand is necessary. "The standards for the estimation of power demands in newly developed residential and industrial complexes" established by KEPCO in 1991 have been used up to now. But the background for the estimation of power demands is weak and the accuracy has not been verified. Also, it has been passed above 10 years since their establishment and the social & economic situations have changed a lot, which requires an urgent revision. Through this survey and analysis of existing areas, new standards that will enable more accurate estimation of power demands in new cities and industrial complexes to be developed in the future are established by calculating the some kinds of power demand factors.

  • 기업에 있어 고객은 수입의 원천으로 기업의 발전을 위해서는 효과적인 고객관계관리(CRM: Customer Relationship Management)가 매우 중요하다. 이를 위해서는 고객의 요구를 파악하고 실제 고객이 필요로 하는 제품이나 서비스를 제공해야 한다. 그러나 점점 고객의 요구가 다양해지고 복합적인 형태를 갖게 되어 이를 파악하는 것이 어려워지고 있다. 최근 스마트 폰의 출현과 트위터, 페이스북과 같은 SNS의 발달로 실시간으로 다양한 고객의 목소리가 증가하고 있는 가운데 효율적인 CRM을 위해 이러한 빅 데이터를 이용 하는 것이 매우 효율적인 방법으로 부상하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 고객자체가 기업의 자산이며 서비스 산업의 대표라 할 수 있는 호텔기업의 CRM을 위해 빅 데이터를 활용하는 방법을 제안한다. 또한 빅 데이터 서비스를 이용하는데 있어 보안에 대한 문제점을 논의하고 대책을 강구한다.

  • With ever-change and increasingly competitive business environments, firms strive to employ a variety of marketing strategies and execution in order to survive in the market. Such effects would be paid off in the right way only when management of the firms perform marketing activities focusing on long term effectiveness, which would drive company profits up and keep them for long. Demands of customers are being changed and varied. And in this circumstance, it become a main issue of management that the company should produce and sell products according to the customer demands. With these trends, each company has been concentrating effects on generalization of product development technique and distinction of service for customer. In this result with the advantage of mass marketing and database marketing have been drawing attentions from company. Also the internet connected around the world completely diminished the limit of time and distance and company have enveloped keen competition out of each nation and continent in the world market. To fulfill these demands of customer, they need a concept of eCRM(Web based Customer Relationship Management), and go from selling products and services, or gathering customer requests, up to the phase of solving customer's problem by real time or previous action. With the help of internet, the frequency and speed of the problem solving has improved greatly.

  • 대학의 고등직업교육 중심기관으로서 역할을 다하여 노동시장의 미스매치 현상과 이로 인한 기업의 신입사원에 대한 재 교육비 소요 등의 불만 요소를 해소하는 노력이 필요하다. 이러한 산업사회의 수요에 대응하는 인력개발요구 및 기계분야 산업현장 요구를 충족시키는 교육과정에 있어서 제안된 능력단위를 근거로 해서 실무형 교육과정을 개발하는 사례를 소개하고자 한다. 산업체 직무를 분석하여 영역별 요구 수준을 파악한 후, 새로운 교육과정을 개발하고, 이에 따라 전문기술인력으로 갖추어야 할 능력과 높은 성과를 창출할 수 있는 인력양성의 중요성이 증대되고, 이러한 현장중심의 교육과정 개발을 통하여 재학생들의 취업률 향상에도 많은 도움이 될 것이다.

  • 최근 대학 졸업생들의 취업경쟁이 점점 치열해 지고 있다. 이공계 졸업생도 예외는 아니며 졸업생들이 산업체에 취업했을 때 현장에 잘 적응할 수 있도록 재학시절 교육을 잘 하는 것이 교육자로서 중요한 임무중 하나이다. 그러나 실제로 졸업생들이 취업을 했을 때 회사에서 재교육을 해야만 하는 경우가 많으므로 산업체에서도 애로점이 많다. 이러한 문제점을 해소하기 위해서 본 연구에서는 기업체의 요구를 교과에 반영하는 산업체 수요지향적인 교과과정 개편에 관한 방법을 제안한다. 여기서는 저자가 속해 있는 대학의 컴퓨터학과에 적용한 경험을 바탕으로 제안하였는데 타 대학 관련학과에서도 제안하는 방법을 적용하여 교과의 교육 지향 방향이 산업체의 기술 변화 추이에 능동적으로 대처할 수 있고 산업체가 재교육을 실시하지 않고 졸업과 동시에 실무에 투입할 수 있는 산학일체형 인력을 양성할 수 있으리라 사료된다.
