제주물을 이용한 기능성 및 혼합음료의 개발방향 설정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Setting the Direction of Development for the Functional and Mixed Drinks using the Jeju Water)

  • 세계적으로 건강기능식품의 주변 환경은 매우 빠르게 변하고 있다. 2012년 세계기능성 음료시장은 269억달러 규모, 아태지역 시장은 136억달러 규모가 될 것으로 전망하고 있다. 국내 먹는 샘물 시장은 2008년 4,400억원 규모를 형성하고 있고, 제주삼다수의 매출액은 891억원이다. 그러나 "제주삼다수"라는 브랜드는 한계성을 지니고 있다. 이에 대한 방안으로 제주물의 품질 우수성을 알리는 포괄적인 광고가 필요하며, 제주 물을 이용한 기능성 음료 및 혼합음료 개발의 성공 가능성을 높이기 위해서 제주워터(Jeju Water)라는 글로벌 통합브랜드 개발이 필요하다. 기능성 및 혼합음료 제품개발시 제주지역의 농산물의 기능성을 적극 활용해 물산업과 제주의 1차산업을 연계해 농산물의 과잉생산 처리와 고부가가치화를 촉진시킬 필요가 있다.

Development and Application of Multi-Function Valve to Solve Major Problems of Expansion and Off-Odor Leakage in the Packaging of Kimchi

  • The one-way gas valve developed in this study was designed to prevent the breakage of packages from increased internal pressure, which is a problem in packaged Kimchi, and simultaneously reduce the outflow of the offodor release. The effect of the one-way gas valve on the headspace atmospheric compositions was investigated in the packaging system. The changes of atmospheric compositions and quality factors of Kimchi, such as $CO_2$ accumulation, pH, titratable acidity, and salinity, were measured during a 4-week storage period at $4^{\circ}C$. The Kimchi package with the one-way gas valve dramatically reduced pressure build-up in the pouch by allowing the controlled flow of gas to the atmosphere. In addition, the package design allows the possibility of controlling the gas generated from Kimchi by adjusting the viscosity of the open pressure control oil. The one-way gas valve did not affect the sensory characteristics of Kimchi products during the storage period. Furthermore, the deodorizing capability of the activated carbon contained in the one-way gas valve effectively reduced the off-odor of Kimchi products released along with carbon dioxide. The novel one-way gas valve is considered to be an active packaging system that can solve major problems of expansion and off-odor leakage in the packaging of Kimchi.

사용자 의견 추출을 위한 텍스트 마이닝 기반 비정형 데이터 정량화 방안 (Unstructured Data Quantification Scheme Based on Text Mining for User Feedback Extraction)

  • People write reviews of numerous products or services on the Internet, in their blogs or community bulletin boards. These unstructured data contain important emotions and opinions about the author's product or service, which can provide important information for future product design or marketing. However, this text-based information cannot be evaluated quantitatively, and thus they are difficult to apply to mathematical models or optimization problems for product design and improvement. Therefore, this study proposes a method to quantitatively extract user's opinion or preference about a specific product or service by utilizing a lot of text-based information existing on the Internet or online. The extracted unstructured text information is decomposed into basic unit words, and positive rate is evaluated by using existing emotional dictionaries and additional lists proposed in this study. This can be a way to effectively utilize unstructured text data, which is being generated and stored in vast quantities, in product or service design. Finally, to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, a case study was conducted using movie review data retrieved from a portal website. By comparing the positive rates calculated by the proposed framework with user ratings for movies, a guideline on text mining based evaluation of unstructured data is provided.

A Fuzzy TOPSIS Approach Based on Trapezoidal Numbers to Material Selection Problem

  • Material selection is a complex problem in the design and development of products for diverse engineering applications. This paper is aimed to present a fuzzy decision making approach to deal with the material selection in engineering design problems. A fuzzy multi criteria decision-making model is proposed for solving the material selection problem. The proposed model makes use of fuzzy TOPSIS (Technique for Order reference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) with trapezoidal numbers for evaluating the criteria and ranking the alternatives. And result is compared with fuzzy VIKOR (VlseKriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje in Serbian, means Multi criteria Optimisation and Compromise Solution) which is proposed by Jeya Girubha and Vinodh [2012]. The present paper is aimed to also improve literature of fuzzy decision making for material selection problem.

Mono-dehalogenation of gem-Dihalocyclopropanes Using Tetracarbonylhydridoferrate

  • Tetracarbonylhydridoferrate, $HFe(CO)^-_4$, generated by the reaction of $Fe(CO)_5$ with alkaline solution, is a good reducing agent for mono-dehalogenation of gem-dihalocyclopropanes. It also acts as a good reducing catalyst under phase transfer reaction conditions. 1,1-Dibromo-2-phenylcyclopropane and 1,1-dichloro-2-phenylcyclopropane were reduced to the corresponding mono-dehalogenated products in excellent yields. Thermodynamically stable trans-l-bromo-2-phenyl cyclopropane was formed as the major product over the cis-isomer, trans/cis=3/2. The 1-bromo-2-phenyl cyclopropane radical intermediate was formed by single electron transfer from $HFe(CO)^-_4$. Dissociation of bromide anion, followed abstraction of hydrogen radical from alcoholic solvent would lead to the formation of the stable trans-isomer. The further mechanistic aspects were discussed.

고로슬래그 및 전기분해한 알칼리 수용액을 사용한 하이볼륨 시멘트 경화체의 수화특성 (Hydration Properties of High Volume Cement Matrix Using Blast Furnace Slag and Alkaline Aqueous by Electrolysis)

  • 본 연구는 $CO_2$를 다량 발생시키는 시멘트의 사용량을 줄이기 위한 일련의 연구로서, 산업부산물인 고로슬래그 미분말을 다량 치환하고 기존 알칼리 자극제를 대체하여 전기분해한 알칼리 수용액을 사용한 하이볼륨 시멘트 경화체의 개발을 위한 기초적인 연구를 수행하였다. 즉, 일반적인 시멘트를 사용한 시험체와 고로슬래그 미분말 40%, 60%에 일반적인 물과 전기분해 알칼리 수용액을 사용한 시험체에 대하여 압축강도, XRD 및 SEM을 측정하였다. 그 결과, 고로슬래그 미분말을 사용하는 경화체에 있어서 알칼리 수용액을 사용할 시 강도가 증가하고 입자 표면에 수화물이 다량 생성되는 결과를 얻었다. 특히, 고로슬래그 미분말을 40% 치환하고 알칼리 수용액을 사용한 경우, 일반적인 시멘트 경화체 보다 높은 압축강도를 발현하였다. 그러나 본 연구는 재령 10일에 한정하여 실시한 연구로서, 고로슬래그 및 전기분해 알칼리 수용액을 사용한 시험체에 대한 추가적인 연구가 필요하다고 판단된다.

소비자의 신체 존중감이 온라인 패션제품 구매의도에 미치는 영향: 자기 감시성의 조절적 효과 (The Effects of Body Esteem on Purchase Intention toward Online Fashion Products: The Moderating Role of Self Monitoring)

  • 외모와 신체에 대한 관심 증가로 인한 관련 산업들의 폭발적인 성장에도 불구하고 기존 연구들은 신체 존중감과 소비자의 구매의도 사이의 관계에 대한 일관적 결론에 도달하지 못하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 온라인 패션제품을 대상으로 신체 존중감과 소비자 구매의도 사이의 관계를 검토하고 이들 관계에서 존재하는 자기 감시성의 조절적 역할에 대해 살펴보았다. 172명의 소비자를 대상으로 위계적 조절 회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 신체 존중감은 온라인 패션상품에 대한 소비자의 구매의도 형성에 부정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 자기 감시성은 신체 존중감과 온라인 패션제품에 대한 소비자의 구매의도와의 관계에서 긍정적인 조절 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다.

  • Every individual uses, appraises and interacts with products on a daily basis. It is evident from current trends and theories associated with product design, that these products that are a part of our everyday lives, satisfy our needs in two ways, functionally and psychologically. While a product's usability or the service it provides may satisfy our functional needs, it is often the case that when given a choice, we may select one product from the other, even though they are functionally alike. Why do we make these choices, and more importantly, how? When users are satisfied with a product's performance, they seek a stronger emotional involvement with them(Lewalski, 1988). Are emotions responsible for our choices, likes and dislikes of products? What is the nature of this emotional involvement, what are these emotions, and how, if possible, can we design to generate specific emotions? This research proposes to develop into these questions. It is an effort to formulate the underpinnings of "design for emotions" and uncover the possibilities of a design process that places "emotion" as an equally important concern for the design of objects, as functionality or aesthetic appeal. The literature review will include a systematic study of human and product attributes, theoretical and empirical studies of emotion, and the interaction of humans and products is discussed. This project examines what product characteristics lead to an emotional experience, when people interact with them, and suggests a methodology or design guidelines that may allow designers to enhance or specifically modify the emotions experienced by people, while using the products that are a part of their everyday lives.

IT제품의 유니버설 디자인을 위한 사용실태조사 (An Investigation of Using Practices for Universal Design of Information Technology Products)

  • This study investigated perceived discomfort and reasons related to use three information technology products (personal computer, mobile phone and digital television remote controller), and extracted the universal design factors. 240 people (30 females and 30 males for four age groups) participated in the one-to-one interview type of questionnaire, and replied to degree of discomfort at level of items and the reasons of discomfort at level of detailed elements for each product. As a result, almost all age groups answered that using input buttons of mobile phone and remote controller and watching display of mobile phone caused discomfort. Binary logistic regression of the detailed elements showed that response rate of discomfort mostly increased with age, except for specific elements such as shape of mouse and remote controller, and location of function button of mobile phone. Some of the detailed elements had high response rate of discomfort from all age groups. The age groups also showed similar tendency for the elements to select one alternative for the reason of discomfort, but not for sound volume and size of mobile phone and button sensitivity of remote controller. Finally, the universal design factors were extracted for each product based on the results, and divided into common factors and factors classified by the age group. Through this study, we identified using practices of various age groups and their demands for the products. It is expected that extracted detailed elements can be considered as important design factors to design the products universally.

한-중미 FTA 발효에 따른 주요 산업 수출경쟁력 분석에 관한 연구 (An Analysis on the Trade Competition of Major Industries Following the Completion of Korea-Central America FTA)

  • 본 연구는 한국과 중미 5개국 간의 FTA가 발효됨에 따라 시장점유율, 무역집중도, 무역특화도를 활용하여 국내 주요 수출산업의 경쟁력에 대해 분석하였다. 분석결과, 한국에서는 선박과 자동차 및 부품, 철강, 전자기기 등 공산품 위주로 수출을 하고 있으며, 커피, 동과 같은 원자재 및 농산물을 수입하고 있어 상호보완적 무역구조를 나타내고 있다. 무역특화도 분석에서는 한국은 선박, 자동차, 철강, 기계류등의 공산품 수출에 특화되어 있었으며, 동, 커피 등 1차산품에 수입 특화되어 있는 것으로 나타났다. 대(對)중미 주요 수출 품목인 선박, 철강, 기계류와 같은 제품들은 관세인하로 인해 경쟁력이 더욱 강화될 것으로 예상된다. 또한 코로나 19로 인해 향후 의약품 및 의료용품에 대한 수요도 증가할 수 있을 것으로 예상된다. 본 연구는 한-중미 FTA 발효에 따라 중미 시장에서 한국의 주요 수출산업의 경쟁력 분석을 통해 수출전략 수립에 시사점을 제시하고자 하였으며, 중미 시장을 교두보로 향후 남미 지역으로 진출에 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.
