This study was conducted to investigate the effect of progesterone on the oxygen consumption of washed goat spermatozoa. The results obtained were summarized as follows: 1. Progesterone significantly depressed the respilation of the spermatozoa. 2. Caffeine and Di-cAMP greatly increased the oxygen consumption of the spermatozoa. 3. Caffeine plus progesterone and Di-cAMP plus progesterone significantly depressed the oxygen uptake of the cells. 4. There is some indication of a relationship between progesterone and its interference with metabolic behavior of sperm.

The steam generator level is susceptible to the nonminimum phase in dynamics due to the thermal reverse effects known as "shrink and swell" in a pressurized water reactor. A state feedback assisted control concept is presented for the change of dynamic performance to the minimum phase the concept incorporates a nonlinear digital observer as a part of the control system. The observer is deviced to estimate the state variables that provide the true indication of water inventory by compensating for shrink and swell effects. The concept is validated with implementation into the steam generator simulation model.

The objective of this stu요 was to develop a polymer mortar guide block for the blind handicapped people. A high strength and a long durability polymer concrete using unsaturated polyester resin was used to developed the block and to improve the exiting cement mortar guide bloc. Physical and mechanical properties of the polymer mortar guide block were investigated with respect to absorptivity, impact strength, bending strength compared to those of the conventional cement guide block. The polymer mortar guide block was proven to have properties , indication that the block have better industrial applications.

The basic of the VSI charts is that if the sample statistic computed after a sample is taken shows some indication of a process change than the sampling interval before the next sample should be short otherwise long. This paper was shown the VSS chart can be considerably more efficient than the FSS chart and the effectiveness of VSI R chart with S chart used for monitoring a process standard deviation.

In the diagnostic evaluation of thoracic lesions, the image-guided transthoracic needle biopsy was developed, and its role was expanded with the development of cross-sectional detection and characterization of thoracic lesions and advances in biopsy needle design and techniques. Particularly for diagnostic evaluation of solitary pulmonary nodules, transthoracic needle biopsy has emerged as the invasive procedure of choice. This article covers the indication, the pre-procedure preparation, various guidance-modalities and techniques, and complications.

Pulmonary aspergilloma is a rare disease, most commonly presenting as secondary invasion of preexisting cavitary disease. Tuberculosis and bronchieetasis were the commonest pre-existing diseases. Between 1990 and 1994, 11 patients[7 male and 4 female underwent thoracotomy for treatment of pulmonary aspergilloma. The mean age was 45.7 years. The most common indication for operation was hemoptysis. Lobectomy was the m&t frequent operation. Major complication occurred in a patient with bronchopleural fistula and treated with open drainage. There was no operative death. It is concluded that elective pulmonary resection is recommended for all patients with aspergilloma who do not constitute prohibitive operative risks.

본 논문에서는 기존의 지상 ATM망의 제어기법을 바탕으로 위성망으로 확대 적용할 수 방안으로 기존의 지상 ATM망의 막힘제어 기법중 ERICA스위치 알고리즘을 적용하였으며, 기존의 ERICA스위치 알고리즘은 지상과 위성간의 긴 전파지연시간을 고려하지 않아 위성내의 막힘을 알려주는 정보가 지구국까지 전달되어 다시 위성에 전달될 때 위성의 막힘 상태변화로 인한 손실이 발생할 수 있다 본 논문에서는 이러한 손실을 피하기 위한 제어구조에 대해서 다루었다.
