Design and Implementation of Customer Personalized System Using Web Log and Purchase Database

  • In this paper, we propose a customer personalized system that presents the web pages to users which are customized to their individuality. It analyzes the action of users who visit the shopping mall, and preferentially supplies the necessary information to them. When they actually buy some items, it forecasts the user's access pattern to web site and their following purchasable items and improves their web page on the bases of their individuality. It reasons the relation among the web documents and among the items by using the log data of web server and the purchase information of DB. For reasoning, it employs Apriori algorithm, which is a method that searches the association rule. It reasons the web pages by considering the user's access pattern and time by using the web log and reasons the user's purchase pattern by using the purchase information of DB. On the basis of the relation among them, it appends the related web pages to link of user's web pages and displays the inferred goods on user's web pages.

  • Power line for digital home appliances has own property that transmitting power connected to loads. Especially, power line communication(PLC) for the home network which has characteristics of load fluctuation makes variable noise characteristics. It becomes serious problems to maintain efficient communication performance. Thus, in this paper, we present an optimal modulation and demodulation method through mathematical analysis of each measured load fluctuation based on PLC for home appliances. To analyze and compare various modem methods presented in this paper, we analyzed them normally via computer simulation under various noise channel environments according to various load fluctuations. In addition, we certified its availability through hardware implementation.

An Implementation of the Controller for Intelligent Process System using Neural Network (신경회로망을 이용한 지능형 가공 시스템 제어기 구현)

  • In this study, this system makes use of the analog infrared rays sensor and converts the feature of fish outline when sensor is operating with CPU(80C196KC). Then, after signal processing, this feature is classified a special feature and a outline of fish by using the neural network, one of the artificial intelligence scheme. This neural network classifies fish pattern of very simple and short calculation. This has linear activation function and the error back propagation is used as a teaming algorithm. And the neural network is learned in off-line process. Because an adaptation period of neural network is too long when random initial weights are used, off-line teaming is induced to decrease the progress time.

Design and Implementation of LED Dimming System with Intelligent Sensor Module

  • An intelligent light emitting diode (LED) dimming system is designed and implemented for energy-saving lighting systems. An LED light bulb is powered by an LED driver controlled by a microcontroller using pulse width modulation (PWM) signals. By changing the duty cycle of the PWM signals, the LED driver generates a driving current of up to 1,000 mA. The current consumption by the LED light bulb exhibits a very linear characteristic that indicates that the level of LED dimming can be finely tuned. Multiple sensors-lighting intensity and ultrasonic range sensors-are combined with the LED dimming system to realize an automatically controllable LED lighting system. The light intensity sensor is capable of sensing ambient light. The ultrasonic range sensor can detect objects from 0.15 to 5.6 m at a resolution of 0.0254 m. The collected information by the light intensity and ultrasonic range sensors is processed by the microcontroller that in turn automatically controls the brightness of the LED light bulb. The algorithm of the software for the LED dimming system is also described.

  • In this paper, we proposed and implemented the automation of cable drum scheduling which is required a considerable construction cost for electrical equipment in power plant. Implemented cable drum scheduling can be reduced the calculation time of cable drum scheduling, and it is possible to minimize the consuming time of cable drum scheduling than conventional methods. Some experiments are conducted to verify the proposed method, and as a result, the automation of cable drum scheduling is well performed, enabling cables can be optimized and scheduled to fit the drum capacity with productivity enhancement of electrical installations.

  • 본 논문에서는 24~77GHz 대역의 충돌 방지 레이더 센서를 이용한 차량 충돌 방지 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안한 알고리즘은 센서로 부터 측정한 전압을 이용하여 전/후/좌/우의 차량의 접근 정보를 획득하고 이를 효율적으로 이용하여 다양한 상황에 따른 차량충돌방지를 할 수 있도록 구현되어 있다. 제안한 차량 충돌방지 알고리즘은 운행 중인 속도를 기반으로 속도구간별 운행정보를 계산하여 충돌방지를 실행한다. 본 연구에서 구현한 차량 충돌 방지 알고리즘은 차량 주행에서 좌우 차량충돌 없이 효율적으로 운행하는 특성을 보였다.

Digital Implementation of PWM Techniques for Two-phase Eight-switch Inverter fed Brushless DC Motor Drives

  • This paper reports an investigation of pulse width modulation (PWM) techniques for two-phase brushless DC (BLDC) motors fed by a two-phase eight-switch inverter in a fan application. The three-phase BLDC motor is widely applied in industry; however, a lower-cost two-phase BLDC motor and drive circuit has been greatly in demand in recent years. In this paper, we introduce a mathematical model of the two-phase BLDC motor with sinusoidal back electromotive forces (EMFs) based on traditional three-phase BLDC motors. To simplify the drive algorithm and speed up its application, we analyze the principle of block commutation for a two-phase BLDC motor drive in the 180-electrical-degree conduction mode, and we further propose five PWM schemes to improve the commutation performance of the two-phase BLDC drive. The effectiveness of the proposed PWM methods is verified through experiments.

  • In this paper, we were implemented the application to induce correct posture by recognizing the incorrect posture of the user. Implemented system uses kinect sensors to determine the user's position information, it has been developed posture determination algorithm that can determine the four wrong posture and correct posture. In addition to PC in order to improve the user convenience and accessibility, to implement real-time monitoring application that can determine the user's position in the smartphone. For the system of performance evaluation of and promote the attitude determination experiment to target the five college students, the experimental results sensitivity and specificity of it it was found that the attitude determination performance is excellent at 0.956.

  • Conventionally, PCB fabrication processes detects simply electrical characteristics of TCP and COF by automatic manufacturing system and additionally, by introducing human visual detection, those are very ineffective in view of low cost implementation. So, this paper presents an efficient detection algorithm for short and protrusion-type defects based on reference images by using local binary pattern analysis. The proposed methods include several preprocessing techniques such as histogram equalizing, the compensation of spatial position and maximum distortion coordination Through several experiments, it is shown that the proposed method can improve the defect detection performance compared to the conventional schemes.

  • Existing internet auction systems have adopted the form which gives a win to the auction bidder who proposes the top bid price for the goods posted on the auction board. But they haven't been satisfying the automatical one-step processing for user's convenience because they must require continuous care of user for bidding and checking as well as neglecting the convenience of user interface while participating in the electronic bidding system. The AuctionBot system of Michigan Univ. is known as the representative internet auction system. It has merit allowing the various kids of bidding. But it does not support automatic a process which can replaces what user has to do using an agent. To improve this kind of user interface, we propose an automatic bidding price strategy algorithm which composes the auction system using agent and design for auto-bidding system using agent so that I can replace user's bidding activity. This mechanism gives an auction system the efficient bidding price strategy.
