In Korea, a regulation of visual impact evaluation on development plan in natural environment is provided at the Natural Environment Conservation Act, but it was difficult to obtained the effectiveness enough to conserve natural landscape. So, the visual impact review on development plan is introduced to the act, through the revision of the Natural Environment Conservation Act in 2005. The basic directions of visual impact review are preservation, restoration, view protection, and harmony. The items of review are as follows; (1) development alternations for the provided plan, (2) executive reduction plan of visual impacts including consideration of growth of plants, (3) deliberation process between persons or parties concerned, etc. For rapid settlement of visual impact review system, it needs that the validity, the reliability, and the objectivity should be confirmed through steady research about reasonable guidance of review.

In this paper, the impact of integrating large number of I/O (Input-Output) and Core power Delivery Network (PDN) on a 6 layers Flip-Chip Ball Grid Array (FCBGA) package is investigated. The impact of core induced supply noise on high-speed I/O interfaces, and high-speed I/O interface's supply noise coupling to adjacent high-speed I/O interfaces' jitter impact are studied. Concurrent stress validation software is used to induce SSO noise on each individual I/O interfaces; and at the same time; periodic noise is introduced from Core PDN into the I/O PDN domain. In order to have the maximum coupling impact, a prototype package is designed to merge the I/O and Core PDN as one while impact on jitter on each I/O interfaces are investigated. In order to understand the impact of the Core to I/O and I/O to I/O noise, the on-die noise measurements were measured and results were compared with the original PDN where each I/O and Core PDN are standalone and isolated are used as a benchmark.

When a body enters waters, its original kinetic energy or momentum is distributed among the body and surrounding water in the form of added mass. Due to the transfer of the energy or momentum, the bode is subjected to the hydrodynamic impact forces and acceleration. This impact behavior can be an important criterion of submersible vehicle launched to the air. In this paper, based on Life-boat model, an approximate method is proposed for the evaluation of the forces and responses of cylindrical rigid bode by water entry impact. The impact forces are calculated by yon Karman's momentum theory and motion responses the body, especially acceleration, are calculated by a numerical integration of the motion equations derived by hydrodynamic force equilibrium. The proposed method is expected to be a simple but efficient tool lot the preliminary design or motion analysis of a body subjected to water entry impact.

The beam structure models with an impactor or contact parts under impact forces have teen applied to the design of mechanical and electronic accessories. Switches, hard-disk pick-ups and sensors are typical structural examples of the structure to be designed to colliding with other parts of structures. In this paper, in order to examine the relationships between the changes of the stiffness and damping of the impactor and vibrations of the dynamic characteristics of the impact model of a cantilevered beam with an impactor, impact force of the impactor and response characteristics of the cantilevered beam were analyzed by both numerical simulation and experiment. Since the stiffness and damping of the impactor have high nonlinear characteristics, the contact model using revised Herz-model was established by experiments. Also, the results of numerical analyses for dynamic response and impact force of a cantilevered beam with an impactor have a good agreement with experimental results.

The impact ionization rate of thethighly-doped AlGaAs/GaAs quantum well structure is calculated, which is an important parameter ot design theinfrared detector APD and the novel neural device. In conjunction with ensemble monte carlo method and quantum mechanical treatment, we analyze the effects of the parameters of quantum well structure on the impact ionization rate. Since the number of the occupied subbands increases while the energy of the subbands decreases as the width of quantum well increases, the impact ionization rate increases in the range of th esmall well width but gradually the increament slows down and is finally saturated. Due to the effect of the energy of the injected electrons into the quantum well and the tunneling through the barrier, the impact ionization rate increases for the range of the small barrier width and decreases for the range of the large barrier width. Thus, there exists a barrier width to maximize the impact ionzation rate for a mole fraction x, and the barrier width moves to the larger vaue as the mole fraction x increases. The impact ionization rate is much more sensitive to the variation of the doping density than that of the other quantum well parameters. We found that there is a limit of the doping density to confine the electronics in the quantum well effectively.
As a result of supply-oriented housing policy of Korea since the 1960s, the number of apartment housing units has increased up to six million as of the end of 2001 that is 55% of total housing units. Although the needs of placid living environment increases according to the enhancement of residents' living standard, most of construction firms as apartment suppliers plan and design apartment buildings to maximize the profit and give rise the residents' petitions and troubles about floor impact noise. In consequence, the floor impact noise becomes one of principal problems of living environment, and the government placed the obligation of installing the noise isolation materials between upper and lower floors in 2001 and controlling the floor impact noise lower than 60dB from the middle of 2004. In other to provide the fundamental research data to enhance the reduction performance of floor impact sound, in this paper, the factors that influence on the floor impact noise are derived from the survey of many research papers and the performance of various materials used as noise reduction objects are compared and surveyed with the factors in the experiments in field and laboratory.

The purpose of this study is to produce a side impact beam with high tensile steel using a roll forming process. The door side impact beam plays an important roll in a car because it protects passengers from external crash. The roll forming process is a continuous bending process wherein a long metal sheet is bended as it continuously passes several rolls. The characteristic of this study is that an impact beam is produced by a continuous process using a ultra high strength steel without a hardening heat treatment. A model was determined by analysing plasticity of a cross section shape considering high strength. Design parameters of the impact beam was determined by crash-analysing the model. Workpiece products were manufactured by designing dies for roll forming and setting them up in a following process line. Results of a bending test and a FEM analysis was considered and reviewed.
Purpose - This study purposes to analyze the impact of regional economic integration and macroeconomic on Indonesian FDI inflows. Research design, data, and methodology - Data were collected from bilateral relation between Indonesia and 21 home countries whose dominant share FDI to Indonesia from 2005 to 2013. Analysis method was conducted by panel gravity modeI to find the impact of regional economic integration and macroeconomic on Indonesian FDI inflows. Results - The empirical results show that GDP of the home country and Indonesia have a positive impact on Indonesia FDI. Distance and home country real interest rate have a negative impact on Indonesia FDI. Economic integration of European Union (EU) and Indonesia's cooperation with Japan in ASEAN-Japan Comprehensive Economic Partnership (AJCEP) have created impact of investment creation on Indonesia FDI, unfortunately, economic integration of ASEAN has created impact of investment diversion on Indonesian FDI. Conclusions - In order to increase FDI inflow to Indonesia, Indonesia government should improve the physical and social infrastructures to drive the productivity and economic efficiency. It will increase the GDP and also attract more investors. Low interest rate policy should be considered.

In this study, the effects of show host's verbal communication subfactors, such as paralanguage, friendliness, and professionalism, as well as nonverbal communication subfactors, such as demonstration attitude, appearance, and attractiveness, on purchase intention were examined by evaluating customer empathy and product reliability. Data was collected from 20s-50s females. SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0 were used for data analysis. The results revealed that professionalism and friendliness had a positive impact on customer empathy; however, friendliness had a negative impact on product reliability. Moreover, nonverbal communication subfactors had a positive impact on empathy, and appearance had a positive impact on product reliability. In contrast, attractiveness had a negative impact on product reliability, whereas empathy and product reliability had a positive impact on purchase intention. Thus, ensuring appropriate verbal and nonverbal communication is essential for customer empathy and product reliability. Given that a show host's friendliness, professional verbal communication, demonstration attitude, appearance, and attractiveness have a positive impact on customer empathy, these factors should be considered critical qualities of show hosts.
Purpose - This paper investigates how business cycle impacts on corporate credit spreads since global financial crisis. Furthermore, it tests how the impact changes by the phase of the cycle. Design/methodology/approach - This study collected dataset from Barclays Global Aggregate Bond Index through the Bloomberg. It conducted multi-regression analysis by projecting business cycle using Hodrick-Prescott filtering and various cyclical variables, while ran dynamic analysis of 5-variable Vector Error Correction Model to confirm the robustness of the test. Findings - First, it proves to be statistically significant that corporate credit spreads have moved countercyclicaly since the crisis. Second, It indicates that the corporate credit spread's countercyclicality to the macroeconomic changes works symmetrically by the phase of the cycle. Third, the VECM supports that business cycle's impact on the spreads maintains more sustainably than other explanatory variable does in the model. Research implications or Originality - It becomes more appealing to accurately measure the real economic impact on corporate credit spreads as the interaction between credit and business cycle deepens. The economic impact on the spreads works symmetrically by boom and bust, which implies that the market stress could impact as another negative driver during the bust. Finally, the business cycle's sustainable impact on the spreads supports the fact that the economic recovery is the key driver for the resilience of credit cycle.
