  • Many consumers today are increasingly buying products with brand-image, additional value. Also brands are important factor in the franchise business. According as a standard of living is improved due to the development of economy and community, our country is increasing interests in hair styles with desiring of beauty. Therefore, domestic beauty industry has been improved by the introduction of the franchise with specialization, different management system and the marketing strategy. Through a case of hair salon's franchise, a purpose of this paper is elements which form the brand-image in space investigate how it have been applied and letting fundamental data of beauty care thread space planning.

Fish Injured Rate Measurement Using Color Image Segmentation Method Based on K-Means Clustering Algorithm and Otsu's Threshold Algorithm

  • This paper proposes two measurement methods for injured rate of fish surface using color image segmentation method based on K-means clustering algorithm and Otsu's threshold algorithm. To do this task, the following steps are done. Firstly, an RGB color image of the fish is obtained by the CCD color camera and then converted from RGB to HSI. Secondly, the S channel is extracted from HSI color space. Thirdly, by applying the K-means clustering algorithm to the HSI color space and applying the Otsu's threshold algorithm to the S channel of HSI color space, the binary images are obtained. Fourthly, morphological processes such as dilation and erosion, etc. are applied to the binary image. Fifthly, to count the number of pixels, the connected-component labeling is adopted and the defined injured rate is gotten by calculating the pixels on the labeled images. Finally, to compare the performances of the proposed two measurement methods based on the K-means clustering algorithm and the Otsu's threshold algorithm, the edge detection of the final binary image after morphological processing is done and matched with the gray image of the original RGB image obtained by CCD camera. The results show that the detected edge of injured part by the K-means clustering algorithm is more close to real injured edge than that by the Otsu' threshold algorithm.

체형유형에 따른 의복의 착의 공간 형상 변화 (Out-line Space-shape Variation of Clothing Fitness with Somatotype)

  • Clothing shape is principally described in seven factors that are composed of clothing design, clothing material, clothing size, pattern design, sewing method and body motion etc.. The aims of this study was to measurement out-line space-shape variation of clothing fitness with somato type by using the image processing. The subjects for direct anthropometric measurements were 248 female college students aged from 19 to 22. The data were statistically analyzed by principal analysis and cluster analysis. The results were obtained three somato type. Also I made skirts in order to analyzed to the out-line space-shape variation of clothing fitness with body. The effect of somato type on the shape of flare skirts was determined by the out-line space-shape variation of clothing fitness with body. The out-line space-shape variation of clothing fitness with body was observed between the node number and amplitudes of clothing wave form and node number was determined at the maxim of space-shape amplitude, and the space-shape amplitudes have related with aspect ratio of cross-sectional shape. Results for flare skirts show changes in amplitude and mean with fabrics, somato type. therefore gray-level histogram are correlated with changes out-line space-shape, differences in drape spacing and related fabric properties and their somato type.   • This paper proposes a parking space detection method for autonomous parking by using the Around View Monitor (AVM) image and Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) sensor fusion. This method consists of removing obstacles except for the parking line, detecting the parking line, and template matching method to detect the parking space location information in the parking lot. In order to remove the obstacles, we correct and converge LIDAR information considering the distortion phenomenon in AVM image. Based on the assumption that the obstacles are removed, the line filter that reflects the thickness of the parking line and the improved radon transformation are applied to detect the parking line clearly. The parking space location information is detected by applying template matching with the modified parking space template and the detected parking lines are used to return location information of parking space. Finally, we propose a novel parking space detection system that returns relative distance and relative angle from the current vehicle to the parking space.

  • Gravitational lensing of point sources located inside the lens caustic is known to produce four images in a configuration closely related to the source position. We study this relation in the particular case of a sample of quadruply-imaged quasars observed by the Hubble Space Telescope. Strong correlations between the parameters defining the image configuration are revealed. The relation between the image configuration and the source position is studied. Some simple features of the selected data sample are exposed and commented upon. In particular, evidence is found for the selected sample to be biased in favor of large magnification systems. While having no direct impact on practical analyses of specific systems, our results have pedagogical value and deepen our understanding of the mechanism of gravitational lensing.

  • We have created new catalogues of AKARI/IRC $2-24{\mu}m$ North Ecliptic Pole Deep survey through new methods of image analysis. In the new catalogues the number of false detection decreased by a factor of 10 and the number of objects detected in multiple bands increased by more than 1,500 compared to the previous work. In this proceedings the new methods of image analysis and the performance of the new catalogues are described.

  • Nowadays, our societies use digital technology in new architectural shape and space design to transcend three dimension limit so the boundary of the imagination world and actuality world has been collapsed. Traditional spatial value has been collapsed. Also indetermination and temporary assumption in time, fluidness and dematerialized, simultaneity and reiteration in image are relative with this circumstances. In architectural shape, media characteristics which secede from traditional characteristics of place tectonic value have occurred. Therefore, indifference and interests in shape, inter-permeation in interior and exterior space, homogeneous equivalence spatial extension have occurred. The purpose in this study examines dematerialized in contemporary space design and light materials and also investigates general and architectural background. The results of this study are as follows. First, circumstances of human have changed from physically limited boundary to unfixed, nonphysical, lightness and vague things. Second, casting off volume in shape and also dissembling exclusive and constructive Third, interior and exterior space by transparency intimates media possibility of information screen. Fourth, seek information and organic response, ambivalent transformation, accumulation of image and new mutual understanding system.

  • This paper proposes a new method of reducing the processing time and the size of consummimg memories in Hough transform. In this method, only the functional patterns are considered. The candidate points which are accumulated into the parameter space are computed in a many-to-one fashion and the parameter space is quantized dynamically to maintain a fine precision where it is needed. And a coarse-to-fine extraction method is used to reduce the processing time. The many-to-one fashional computation results in a relatively high-densed accumulation of candidate points around the parameter points corresponding to the image patterns in the image space. So, the dynamic quantization procedure can be simplified and the local maxima can be determined easily. And more effective reduction can be obtained as the dimension of parameter space is increased.

욕실공간 계획을 위한 감성공학적 접근 (An Approach to Sensibility Technology for a Plan of Bathroom)

  • The purpose of this research was to grasp the space funtions, the preferred image in bathroom and to find out the plan of bathroom. The subjects of investigation included university students in third decades of which data were obtained by the questionnaire survey method. The major findings were as follows: 1) The space funtions of bathroom were the hygienic activities and the supplementary funtions as resting and health-care. 2) Total and facility image in bathroom take a serious view of a sanitary, a function and following to a mood , a sense of space. 3) The preferred type of bathrooms were identified as the 2-space type. Furthermore, the demands were needed in radiator & pannel heating system, storing furniture and funtional lighting & mirror. According to those results, three types of space plan for bathroom can be suggested and color & forms of design elements can be proposed.

  • In this study, presents geographic analysis of Heuksando Island We classified each area of the island according to physical attributes. Then, we derived the meaning of each area as a physical space and virtual space. In order to symbolize the events that happens around the spaces, we set directions and relations for those spaces. In this process, we figured the stages of voluntary experience that originates from the user's actions. This study proposes hierarchical categories of virtual environments from spacial reality, experience and the creation of simulacrum.
