  • Among 96 color combination stimuli, male students evaluated 47 set as harmonized, but female students evaluated 32 set, so proved that male's range of harmony more extensive than that of female. Specially red shirt and yellow red necktie in all tone was evaluated as harmonized coloration by both male and female students. Female evaluated as the best harmonious coloration that red shirt-yellow necktie in dark, blue shirt-yellow necktie in dark, purple shirt-red necktie in light, green shirt-blue necktie in dull, and male evaluated red shirt-yellow red necktie in light, blue shirt-yellow necktie in light, purple shirt-red necktie in light, green shirt-yellow necktie in dark. It is significant difference between female and male on red-green in vivid, and blue-purple in vivid, blue-blue in dull, blue-yellow in dark, and purple-purple in dull. And shirt color and necktie color, necktie color and tone, tone and perceiver' gender influenced on the harmony evaluation by interaction.

  • We consider a multi-agent scheduling problem such that each agent tries to maximize the weighted number of just-in-time jobs. Two objectives are considered : the first is to find the optimal solution for one agent with constraints on the other agents' weight functions, and the second is to find the largest set of efficient schedules of which corresponding objective vectors are different for the case with identical weights. We show that when the number of agents is fixed, the single machine case with the first objective is NP-hard in the ordinary sense, and present the polynomial- time algorithm for the two-machine flow shop case with the second objective and identical weights.

  • The local heat transfer and pressure drop of developed turbulent flows in the smooth convergent/divergent channels with rectangular and square cross-sectional areas along the axial distance have been investigated experimentally. The measurement was conducted within the range of Reynolds numbers from 15,000 to 89,000. The channel hydraulic diameter ratios of 0.67 and 1.49 in the rectangular channel with 2 inclined walls and the ratios 0.75 and 1.33 in the square channel with 4 inclined walls are considered. The comparison showed that among the four channels the square divergent channel has the highest thermal performance at the identical mass flow rate, at the identical pumping power, and at the static pressure drop.

  • This paper deals with subcarrier allocation strategies for soft hand-over in OFDMA-based cellular systems. Two possible subcarrier allocation methods are considered for soft hand-over. One method is to use an identical subcarrier set between the two cells participating in the hand-over. The other is to use different subcarrier sets between the two cells. As expected, the different subcarrier strategy is better in terms of diversity order and BER than the identical subcarrier strategy. It will be shown that the BER performance difference between the two strategies is more noticeable with contiguous subcarrier allocation. But the different subcarrier strategy consumes twice more frequency resources than the other, and there is a trade-off between the two strategies in terms of BER and frequency resources. By considering the trade-off, we also propose a subcarrier allocation strategy for soft hand-over.

  • The injection molding process is a predominant method for producing plastic parts. In order to maximize productivity and molding quality in a injection mold, it is important that each cavity in a multi-cavity injection mold is identical. This requires that cavity dimensions should be identical and delivery system of melt to each cavity have to be the same. Despite the geometrically balanced layout in multi-cavity injection mold more than 4 cavities, it has been observed that the filling in each cavity results in imbalances. Most of cases, this phenomenon of filling imbalances have a bad effect on dimension accuracy, warpage, molding appearance and strength of molding parts. In this study, experiment were conducted to investigate the effect of filling imbalances on the molding quality(surface gloss, shrinkage, tensile strength) in the multy-cavity injection mold.

  • This paper examines tasi and tto, two Korean adverbs with roughly the same semantic value of again. It presents two empirical generalizations: (i) semantically tasi can mark the recovery of the original state, modifying an eventuality that is token-identical to a contextually-given eventuality, whereas tto is only limited to mark a simple repetition, thus modifying a type-identical event; (ii) functionally tasi can modify result states, but tto cannot. Then, it illustrates how the functional difference of result state modification can be accounted for by the notion of default events.

  • 1. Pasts containing 10, 12.5, 15, 17.5 and 20g of butter respectively with identical contents of flor(16.25g) and egg(50g) were prepared. 2. For the five batter samples described above, following tests were conducted. a) Hardness and adhesiveness determination by texturometry b) Light microscopic observation d) Sensory Test 3. Significant differences of hardness, adhesiveness, and viscosity among the five samples were not recognized; but 1% significant difference in volumns were recognized. The best swelling was observed for the 17.5g butter sample; those of 15g and 12.5g butter samples were identical, while those of 10g and 20g showed the lowest swelling. Generally, stirring at 60~7$0^{\circ}C$ gave the best homogenity The degree of emulsification influenced the swelling. Not only large but also small amount of butter gave undestirable swelling. Sensory test for the 15g butter sample also gave best result.

  • An analysis and numerical computations relating to the coupling of optical modes between two neighboring waveguides are discussed. The waveguides are fabricated with Lithium Niobate as guide 1 and Vanadium Oxide as guide 2. In a wave guide system that incorporates two lossless guides, a complete transfer of power from one guide to another can occur when the waveguides are (1) identical or (2) the modes in each guide have identical phase constants. Here we discuss the coupling effects when the guides are dissimilar with respect to both geometry and losses. In thers results, we show that power transfer can occur between the two guides, one lossy and the other lossless, provided the phase matched condition is satisfied. When properly coupled, the power attenuation varies according to the amount of coupling.

  • In this paper, arranged the isotropic point source of N number with the structure which is identical with the receive area. And against the array structure which has the radiation pattern which is identical with the receive area it researched. The arranged the element space flees grating lobe and in order to set the characteristic of optimum with half-wave equally space it selects. After inducing the array factor of each array structure, it calculated a radiation pattern. As a result of, the radiation pattern of the each Planar array antenna with structure of the receive area was similar and the possibility of getting an beam characteristic it was.

  • The aim of this work is to generalize reliability equivalence technique to apply it to a system consists of n independent and non-identical components connected in series system, that have mixing constant failure rates. We shall improve the system by using some reliability techniques: (i) reducing some failure rates; (ii) add hot reduncy components; (iii) add cold reduncy components; (iv) add cold reduncy components with imperfect switches. We start by establishing two different types of reliability equivalence factors, the survival equivalence (SRE), and mean reliability equivalence (MRE) factors. Also, we introduced some numerical results.
