비정형 구조물 시공에서의 BIM 효용성 (The Effect of BIM in the Construction of Non-uniform Structure)

  • In modern building, it is constructed with non-uniform complex design. These buildings can't be expressed in 2-D drawings, and it requires shown in 3-D. So, BIM is necessary to communicate between a designer and constructor, and it prevents misunderstanding of drawings. Especially, to design and construct these non-uniformed buildings, BIM needs knowledge and know-how of structure engineer. BIM should fully include construction process information which satisfy constructors so it leads to success in construction market. In this Thesis, I show some example of BIM efficiency to construct non-uniformed large scale building.

  • An air handling unit(AHU) has been usually designed by manual calculations. Drawing works together with design calculations should be redone far every designing work, and also be needed to make some corrections of them. In order to design the AHU more efficiently, an AHU program has been developed. The developed program on the Windows environment is operated by the graphic user interface(GUI) realized using the Visual Basic Interpreter. The program provides calculation sheet of coils, weights and pressures in a MS-Excel file format as well as design drawing of the AHU in a Auto CAD file format idealized by AutoLISP. Those files of the commercial softwares make easier for a designer to transfer design results to the another company for bid via e-mail.

  • This paper is concerned with development of an efficient Ρ-median approach applicable to large cell formation(CF) problems. A two-phase methodology that seeks to minimize the number of exceptional elements is proposed. In phase I, two efficient Ρ-median formulations which contain fewer binary variables than existing Ρ-median formulations are constructed. These make it possible to implement large CF problem within reasonable computer runtime with commercially available linear integer programming codes. Given the initial cell configuration found with the new p-median formulations, in phase II bottleneck machines and parts are reassigned to reduce the number of exceptional elements. This procedure has the flexibility to provide the cell designer with alternative solutions. Test results on large CF problems show a substantial efficiency of the new Ρ-median formulations.

  • Indoor of 21th century information-oriented society is feeling necessity of emotional design that can satisfy emotional of human. Desire of modern becomes various and emotional lighting design is risen on important element in indoor plan on human oriented modern society who become complicated. Emotional space is trend that is atomized as go today and is expanded as the target and area also go. That is, is included as target of emotional space to light and sound, taste, smack and is appealing by senses of human. Wish to do color that is optical element among element of senses differently and present design. Design concept of this research is emotional lighting design that can receive. It is lighting that equip emotional beauty and ability from modern indoor improving space. I wish to quote emotional lighting design about effect gotten to indoor by sight of designer.

  • Beauty of balance, can be found in antique furniture of the Joseon Dynasty. Balance, give comfort and peace of mind to people. Even today, the balance in various fields, it is easily viewed, and an important one element indispensable in the design. Various lighting is an essential element of the interior to create an atmosphere of space. It is also useful in a variety of ways for beauty, emotional effect, such as the switching of visual atmosphere. This design was designed with the concept of balanced. In addition, I have applied a simple graphic appearance. To give the fun and tension while giving it a well-balanced when you meet the figure. The design of this study is nothing more than a single direction. It will be in the traveling direction of the future as a designer by using a simple structure and phenomena that appear in life, is given to the design without the feeling of rejection to the user.

  • A knowledge-based system with CAD is widely used to implement a designer's know-how and a routine calculation within a system. An engineer needs to change several design parameters in an early design stage. However it is not easy to change the design parameters when it needs to update an existing model and data. In this paper, a module has been proposed to make it easy to change the design parameter so that the engineer can easily update and change the design model. Also a flexible interface of the module can easily add or extract the design knowledge.

  • The higher develops the industrial techniques, the more reliability of mac hi nary, equipments and systems want the consumers. So, it is a key to succeed in the new-product development that the consumers can put reliance on the product to be made in the product design stage. This study intends to help the product designer and the system manager by presenting them better reliability prediction techniques. For this purpose, the author built some fundamental reliability system models. And then predict the system reliability by estimating the elemental component's failure rate ${\lambda}_i$, and proposed an evaluation model. And also, a system is wrong according to the component's characteristics' degradation, we must estimate the degradation failure rate (average and standard deviation). For this, the "Moment method" is used.

  • The purpose of human factor study is to help the people in good conditions, and to increase the efficiency of physical productivity and mental creativity Also for the furniture design field, the applications of human scale dimensions are considered as the very important aspects. For the design of the office systems furniture, designer must consider the onveniences of variable users as much as possible. To design the office systems for the various work environment, it is necessary to analyze the human scale dimensions according to the furniture items and the user behaviors. In these days, many countries are interested about the workplace ergonomic regulations to reduce a class of injuries called ‘Musculoskeletal Disorders(MSDs)’ by controlling risk factors. In this study, I intend to research and to analyze the features of human scale dimensions and the user behaviors of office environment, and propose some office furniture design tips.

심미적 영향 요소인 율동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Rhythm Affecting Aesthetic Elements)

  • This study deals with Rhythm which is one of aesthetic variables. Aesthetics among the factors of consumer preference has been importantly considered in competitive market environment. Therefore , consumers' purchasing standard has been also changed as their consciousness has been changed according to the variation of their lire style. Besides, the technique and method of design faces up to the change because of consumers' diverse wishes. Hence, to satisfy consumers' needs and the market front now on characterized as the short durability cycle of products, a distinctive design should be developed in the form of products that can be an important factor to attract consumers preference. So, in this study, 1 will try to understand typology based on a categorization theory and the conceptual structure of aesthetics, which are importantly considered at the same time. In addition, I will establish a new design process by extracting Rhythm affecting aesthetic. Ultimately, this study aims develop more consumer preferring design beyond the limit of a designer's idea and design generation by the result of this study.

복식에 표현된 트랜스포메이션에 관한 연구 (제1보) (Transformation expressed in Dress (Part I))

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the expansion of functions of clothes by analyzing the characteristics of transformation, and to forecast future trends in fashion through systematization of the aforementioned analyses. Analysis of 20th century Modernism and Post-Modernism in a sociocultural sense confirms that transformation in clothes was formed by environmental, functional, deconstructive, and expressive factors. In this sense, the formative factors mentioned above conceptually include nomadic characteristics, usefulness, irregularity, and expressiveness. The nomadic characteristics found in clothes transformation signify the change of clothes into environmental nomadic everyday implements, used as tools for the body. Usefulness of clothes means that it is worn for variability, multipurpose multi-functionality, and combined multiple use. Irregularity means the clothes can change indefinitely, according to random manipulation on the wearer's part. Last of all, expressiveness conveys the designer's internal sensitivity and imagination onto an external object through the induction of various expressive factors.
