The purpose of this study was to investigate the attitude of the middle and old age about the elderly housing and the planning elements according to the types of silver town. For this study, a pre-interview and a survey method were used for data collection. A questionnaire survey of 372 women over 45 years old was carried out. Among the data, 321 cases were analyzed by SPSS for Windows V12.0. The major findings were as follows: 1) Regarding the elderly housing, While the couple cohabitation type preferred the existing housing and the general housing, the single habitation type preferred the apartment and silver town. Some people wanted silver town occupancy due to the decrease of children support burden, the other did not want it due to economical burden and the absence of homelike affection. When they move into silver town, they wanted to take money, clothes, and photo album. 2) In silver town development, while the couple cohabitation type preferred the apartment, independent house, the single type preferred the apartment, housing complex and group-home. The unit housing sizes of them were around 82.6 and 49.6 square meters respectively. In the space composition of unit housing, while the couple cohabitation type preferred bath room, kitchen, living room and two of bed room, the single type preferred one of bed room and bath room at least. On the other hand, this study found out that it was possible to plan the space for eating and washing as the common space. 3) According to single or couple, and ages, there were significant differences in preferred spatial planning elements, which needs to be reflected in the silver town development. These results can provide improvement guidelines for the development of the silver town with the differentiation of design factors for the silver town planners.
The paper begins with the idea of the society of the continued rooms that building connects architectural space (building interior) and urban open space (urban interior) or countryside/rural open space (territorial interior). It gives an account of, through literature review, a theoretical possibility of integrating not only architecture and urbanism but also architecture and countryside/rural planning. The first site explores the continuously articulated and connected spaces between building interior, urban interior, and territorial interior, in understanding Alberti's analogy, "A house is a little city." (1452) The second site illustrates architecture as an open boundary and a spatial medium which makes building, urban, and territorial interiors connect and makes them continuous. There is an opportunity of reading the continued relations and the continua of spaces. The third site deals with the form of building that architecture creates for building interior (society of rooms) and urban interior (society of urban rooms), and moderates the interiors. The last site clarifies the territorial interior (society of countryside/rural rooms) that constitutes homogeneous spatiality moderated by architecture between building interior and urban interior. The paper discusses the society of the continued interiors(building/urban/territorial interiors) that ought to be a fundamental truth in the field of every project which deals with a unit of space. It logically clarifies the society of the interiors, not isolated and blocked off but multilayered and continued. It comes to the conclusion that the territorial interior should be subsumed under the design field and the society of the continued rooms ought to be considered as a united object of space in the fields of interior architecture/design, architecture, landscape, urbanism and countryside/rural planning. Ultimately, it aims at offering a departing point of discourse and a theoretical foundation for the future studies on urban interior and territorial interior.
Advancement toward aging society has presented the importance of house planning in consideration of the elderly, increasing the necessity of such planning. Therefore the importance of indoor design guideline for elderly houses has been stressed and the understanding of the aging in regard to this trend will create more mature spaces. In line with this trend the purpose of this study is to study the medical factors related with bathroom interior design guidelines of the existing elderly houses from the viewpoint of deteriorating physical functions due to aging process. In order to research the deterioration of physical functions due to aging literatures of medical and exercise physiology were used and concerning the existing bathroom design guidelines for the aged people, the guideline items of behavior facilitation, physiological maintenance and perceptual maintenance aspects out of Murtha & Lee's user benefit criteria(1976) related with physical functions were selected to research in relation with the knowledge about the deterioration phenomena of physical functions. Physical aging and deterioration aspects were classified from the viewpoint of musculoskeletal disorder, cardiovascular disorder, respiratory disorder, gastronomy disorder, urology disorder, somatosensory disorder, endocrine disorder, immune disorder, nervous disorder and skin diseases and these were utilized in interpreting total 100 items of bathroom design guideline. Because bathroom is the space where many physical movements are done, it had the closest relationship with the deterioration of musculoskeletal health in general and as bathroom is the space where people use water and feel the difference in temperature and moisture more than other spaces, deterioration of skin and somatosensory health had the next closest relationship. The result of this study revealed that regarding the deterioration of physical functions of the elderly people in aspect of their perceptibility as designers will design creatively and sincerely based on its relationship with nervous system in future, the result of this study will be used to develop better spatial designs efficiently to meet for the aging society.
Rapidly aging society extends the span of aged life of the elderly people longer than before and this trend raises the issue of holistic health of the aged including their physical, psychological and social health making it necessary to study for environmental development to support this trend. This study intends to explore the direction of residential planning to support the deterioration phenomenon of social networks due to aging. Social networks here are treated as basic conditions for social health. This study researched the diverse types of elderly housings in preparation for the aged society and their spatial characteristics, social affordance characteristics and their potentials for social interactions from the viewpoint of their social relations. literature studies with contents analysis method was used. The results of this study were arranged primarily according to the characteristics of social relations by types of housings. Socially integrated types of housings can be found as inclusive housing type as they have both social characteristics that can be found in houses in general and the elderly housings, they should be considered as desirable types in Korea where collective houses are most popular. Form the existing housing plans housing plan direction should move toward socially integrated housing plans that can protect the elderly people collectively and the direction of housing plans here means the direction from more macro-perspective viewpoint. Therefore, the results of this study are meaningful in adding interpretation from the viewpoint of social relations respective housings and promoting housings for the elderly people more desirably.

This paper identifies public transit-poors and derives spatial characteristics of the poors' distribution in an urban area by utilizing buffering analysis of geographic information systems and remote sensing techniques in the case of Daegu metropolitan city. Since special attention is given to elderlies, this study assigns three hundred meter buffer from bus/subway station as service boundary for elderlies. The results of this study tell us that 1) the transit-poors are concentrated on suburban and rural regions, 2) high proportions of the transit poors are elderlies with spatial variations in many regions, 3) the main housing type of the transit-poors is single detached house. We expect that this study can contribute to build an effective policy-making by showing essential technical processes and methods in identifying policy-need groups and their characteristics of spatial distribution.

In farming area, the elderly population is increasing year after year. And the gap between farming area and the city regarding quality of life is getting bigger and bigger. Besides, it has much poorer ground for living than the city. The current farming village maintenance project is adopting a different system now from the top-down project exclusively led by the government in the past to the bottom-up one reflecting how the residents think positively. Lack of the residents' understanding and education about the maintenance project, however, some of them are just focused on maintenance and development distorted from making a village where people want to live. Accordingly, this study will analyze the characteristics of farming villages by their types based on field research and spatial analysis using Space Syntax in order to develop more premeditated and effective maintenance plans to perform maintenance in farming area. As a result, When you install streetlights street lights should be installed at places with a high of Connectivity and spatial depth is deep. Based on this method, the research is going to suggest the current status of street furniture improvement in the villages and the proper positions for their future installation.

The aim of our study was to provide a basic data for the development of a small greenhouse model suitable for urban farmers. The study analyzed installation inclination, positive and negative reasons for installation, location of installation, preferred crops in small greenhouses, plans for use of products, and expected effects by using small greenhouse. Positive opinion on small greenhouse installation was 80.4% of the survey respondents. The most positive reason for the installation of small greenhouses was fresh and safe food supply, and the negative reason was maintenance difficulties. The results obtained in our survey indicated that small greenhouses were more likely to be installed near the house, and urban farmers tended to grow organic leafy vegetables in soil. The expected benefits of small greenhouse operation were largely divided into 'benefit for the improvement of the quality of life' and 'benefit for economic profits', and expectation for the improvement of the quality of life was higher than economic benefit. As a result of the Likert 5-point scale analysis, 'benefit for the improvement of the quality of life' by using a small greenhouse was graded as high as 4.17~4.60. On the other hand, the 'benefit to economic profits' was rated as low as 3.51~4.14.

A Gyeongju earthquake in the magnitude of 5.8 on the Richter scale (the moment magnitude of 5.4), which was recorded as the strongest earthquake in Korea, occurred in September 12, 2016. Compared with the 2011 Virginia earthquake, the moment magnitude was slightly smaller and its duration was 3 seconds, much shorter than 10 seconds of the Virginia earthquake, resulting in relatively minor damage. But the two earthquakes are quite similar in terms of the overall scale, unexpectedness, and social situation. The North Anna Nuclear Power Plant, which is a nuclear power plant located at 18 km away from the epicenter of the Virginia earthquake, had no damage to nuclear reactors because the reactors were automatically shut down as the design basis earthquake value was exceeded. Ground accelerations of the 2016 Gyeongju earthquake did not exceed the threshold value but the manual shutdown was carried out so that Wolsong Nuclear Power Site was not damaged. Damaged historic homestead house and masonry structures due to the Virginia earthquake have been repaired, reinforced, and rebuilt based on a long-term earthquake recovery project. Likewise, it will be necessary to carefully carry out an earthquake recovery planning program to improve overall seismic performance and to reconstruct the historic buildings and structures damaged as a result of the Gyeongju earthquake.
The purpose of this study, analyzing the primary factors for residential mobility and housing preference of Daegu citizens, is to provide a basic data for future housing policies. The results are as follows: First, 32.1% of Daegu citizens have intention of residential mobility. Especially the residents in central (50.0%), southern (59.0%) and western Daegu showed more intention than those in other districts. Second, we used the GLMM (Generalized Linear Mixed Models) to analyze the main factors for residential mobility. The results are as follows; 1) the residents who have lower housing satisfaction with the type of housing, parking, and educational environment, 2) those who are male and younger, 3) those who live in rented house have more intention of housing mobility. Third, based on the analysis on the preference change of the type of housing, the preference of the apartments is getting higher, while that of the detached houses is getting lower (past: 40.1%${\rightarrow}$present: 54.8%${\rightarrow}$future: 66.7%). 28.8% of the respondents (444) expressed intention to live in the public rental houses, in case they are provided in the areas they are moving to. Fourth, when we analyzed the size of the houses they actually lived in and that of the houses they prefer to live in case of moving, we found that in general they tend to move in smaller housing than in the past. The results of the analysis showed that in order to minimize the possible moving away from the current residential areas due to the dissatisfaction with the housing environment, in the first place the improvement in the quality of the houses, parking and education environment is needed.

Rapid business and technology changes drive many organizations to seek better solutions and many of them believe that Information Technology is an essential tool to cope with turbulent environment. Companies began to think ERP system as an effective alternative for IT-based process innovation and integrated information system. But each ERP system has a specific business model and technical structure, unlike in-house developed systems. Moreover implementation of ERP system accompanies transformation of business processes at company level including radical changes in information technology. Therefore, to implement ERP system successfully appropriate and careful selection of ERP system which is adequate for company's objectives and environment must be considered. In this research, four types of changes expected by ERP implementation were suggested. Each type of changes was determined by desired level of changes in business process and information technology.
