나포 문화마을 주택의 평면적 특성 분석 (An Analysis on Floor Planning Characteristics of Rural houses in Na-po Munwha Village)

  • This study was to find out contemporary planning trends of rural houses in Na-po Munhwa village by analyzing their floor plan shapes and space relations & elements. There were built 240 houses in that village, but it were possible to collect housing data, floor plans & general building records of 120 houses, from house register. By analyzing those data, findings were as follows : 1) Floor plan shapes of rural houses had a tendency to 'ㅋ' shape type than simple box or transformed box types, and Room-Living-Room arrangement of centered living were very strong trends in those plans. 2) Public spaces, L.D.K

  • Recently, Green Business/IT becomes very important for management of company, because there are many new regulations about the environment protection, especially to reduce green house effect. The purpose of this research is to investigate present situation of Korean manufacturing industry about the Introduction of Green Business/IT. For the people who is in charge of the decision whether to Introduce Green Business/IT or not, this paper aim to provide some useful findings. We made a research framework consisting of 5Ps (Philosophy, Partner, Process, Product, Public) from literature review, then we found that almost all of the companies in manufacturing industry prepare for the regulations by introducing and using Green Business/IT concepts. There are some differences between production goods industry and consumer's goods industry. Also we found that there are a lot of relationships with recognition level and planning level. The higher the level of profitability, the lower the level of preparing social responsibility. This means there are two opposite perspectives(profitability, social responsibility). Therefore organizations who are adopting Green Business IT/should strive for harmony of sight.

소음지도를 활용한 방음시설별 도로교통소음 개선효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on The Improvement Effects of Road Traffic Noise by The Noise Barrier Facilities Using a Noise Map Simulation)

  • Since 1970's rapid urbanization and economic growth, the population was highly increased and residential type was changed from single detached house to high density and high-rise apartment. Recently more high-rise residential building generates more traffic volumes and it makes spatial concentration. The highly traffic volumed road and high residential building was constructed nearby, it occurs noise problem. The purpose of this study is comparing the performance of three type noise barrier between noise source and receiver using a noise map simulation. Three types were composed as road side planting trees, building side planting trees and noise barrier wall. Planting trees is less effective than noise barrier wall as a noise barrier. And they are all effective under 3 stories than over 5 stories, especially noise barrier function can't work over 5 stories.

  • The residence plan of Korea has been formed with bias for quantitative growth and uniformity failing at obtaining human value. Also, rapid growth brought about severe problems of deteriorated human life and destruction of environment. The solution for these problems is pursued in many directions, but there is short of active plan yet. The residence shall develop into new direction to satisfy the demand by reflecting society and culture as well as residents. This study examines external design with symbolic representation of regional feature as an alternative for uniform residence environment problem. This study will be a basic data upon suggesting the direction for planning high quality residence environment. This study examined the elements which form external space of residence complex, designed plan for external space of residence complex, and examined how to reflect regional feature which is important element of local community and culture on the space plan for residence complex based on the evaluation by local residents centered on Gimcheon-si, Gyeongbuk which just started local specialty by fostering.   • Recently the population to enjoy leisure time has increased, due to the advancement of income level and increase of spare time. In the meantime, the growing attention to well-being life has shed light on Han-ok or traditional Korean house. Such a social background as former, the growing number of people prefer staying at Han-ok style accommodation when they are enjoying leisure time. However there has been little substantial study or survey on architectural standards of Han-ok style accommodation because it is a new type of accommodation facility. Therefore this study aims to suggest a set of basic standards on architectural planning for Han-ok style accommodations. For this purpose, it investigated architectural planning on Han-ok style accommodations in Jeollanamdo province through on-site survey and interview to classify them based upon size and scale of the facility, layout of buildings and interior spaces in terms of function, elevation and materials and to find basic standards on architectural planning of Han-ok style accommodations.

  • This study is purposed to setting up leisure facilities for provincial teenagers. And this center will be constructed facilities considering young boys and girls's need in geochang-gun. It is carried out those as follows;(1) it is, first of all, examined architectural factors concerned about an demand of young boys and girls in geochang-gun;(2) it is, secondly, established spaces and programs that it is analyzed an alternative proposal considering merits and faults;(3) it is, finally, suggested facilities of It's. The result of study, A development planning of "geochang-gun leisure cultural center" is suggested that it is induced to 'cultural building', 'physical exercise facilities' and 'a boarding house for students of the back regions'. It is, Ultimately, focused development of leisure facilities on demands and feelings of teenagers in a rural area.

일본 "대문형 나가야" 주택의 변용과 그 원인에 관한 연구 (The Research on the Changes and their Causes in the Space Planning of Gate-Type Nagayas in Japan)

  • Nagaya is one of the traditional Japanese housing types in which multiple houses are attached together. In Nagaya, walls are shared by several houses but entrances are privately owned by houses. Nagaya consists of many wooden houses for common people located in parallel with narrow alleys between them. Nagaya was one of the representative housing types in Japanese architectural history. This research is to study the background of the origination of Nagaya in Japan, the characteristics of space and land planning, the features and causes of the changes in the space and land planning. In this research, we observed and analyzed unit plans of a block of gate-type Nagayas in Hanan, Osaka. The results are as follows. First, as the inner alleys(Roji) are closed, the number of entrances to each housing lot decreased from two to one since one entrance that used to be open to inner alleys(Roji) are permanently closed. Second, walls between streets and housing lots which used to be one of the outstanding characteristics of gate-type Nagayas are disappearing. Third, as the bathrooms are added to houses, the front gardens are being degraded to empty spaces or sometimes totally removed. Fourth, the space in the first floor of houses become family spaces, and that in the second floor is divided into private rooms for individuals.

  • This research selected The Old Rectory, Sissinghurst and East Lambrook Manor as a case study location that is meaningful to discuss potager garden, herb garden and harvest garden, which is a topic of productive garden. This research focuses on the growth potential of Korea's rural house into a garden that embellishes decoration and appreciation. The application method through the interpretation of the case study location will be, first, organizing the shape of the flower bed and then adding additional materials along with the main materials. Second, it can increase the appreciation of productive garden through layering method and making it abundant. Third, it can be utilized well by pursuing artistic feature by combing unique color and texture of edible plants. Lastly, for the weakness of flat structure by short edible plants, vertical structure shall be utilized to provide decoration and frame. Also, by using natural materials, the ambiance of the garden can be presented.

  • To mitigate the development gap between urban and rural area, the government has implemented project planning as the Rural Integrated Development in each Gun level since 1986. On account of shortage of the development fund, the government had changed the Gun level development into Myeon level development so called the Rural Central Settlement Zone Development. The government had started nine pilot projects throughout Korea from 1990. This study is aimed at identifing problems that found in the course of implementation of the projects and recommending the new direction of the successful implementation of the projects in the future. The problems and directions found in the cource of project implementation were as follows: 1. Project implementation by investment priority considering economic and financial rate of return should be made. 2. Objective project planning should be made. 3. Equal allocation of the limited investment fund by group interest and egoism should be prohibited. 4. Enforcement of special man power should be taken into account. 5. Unification of the diversified existing terms and conditions of loans for house construction and improvement. 6. Road development oriented budget allocation should be improved. 7. Sufficient development fund should be procured considering the present rate of sufficiency of the project cost as 36%. 8. Sufficient supply of the credit loans for improvement of living environment of the farmers should be realized. 9. Rational implementation planning in connection with farm household income source development should be made.

디지털 툴을 활용한 주민참여 소공원 계획연구 (Small Parks Planning with Community Participation by Using Digital Tools)

  • Small park in the community is a public asset that is commonly used by the residents daily and performs an important role to activate the community. The purpose of this study is to draw a small park plan through community participation. In concrete, this study tries to find out the demand of the residents about their small park plan, observe the changes in their demand in the process of debate and analyze the effect of the residents' participation. Small group workshop method was adopted in the study and three groups were set up and surveys were made in two stages. Two dimensional pictogram cards and three dimensional digital park formation tools were used. The results of workshop study indicated as follows: Firstly, residents wanted to have community farming garden, green house and flower garden to grow plants, natural walls and safe resting facilities. Secondly, individual and diverse opinions presented at first could be converted to common opinions through mutual exchanges of opinions in the process of debates. Thirdly, digital park formation program functioned well as an effective visual tool to draw the attention and quick responses of the residents and to reach an agreement. It is expected that the results of this study show the effectiveness of residents' participation tools in the process of drawing agreements in the community society that requires the residents' demands and agreement and this study will be usefully utilized in planning community spaces with residents' participation hereafter.
