폐기 목질 재료로 제조한 학생용 책상 천판의 성능에 미치는 성형조건의 영향 (Effect of Moulding Conditions on Properties of Table Top for Student Desk Manufactured by Wood Waste Materials)

  • 폐기 목질재료를 사용하여 학생용 책상 천판의 성형시 각 제조조건에 따른 천판의 성능을 검토하였다. 책상 천판의 파티클 구성은 고운 파티클과 거친 파티클을 적절히 혼합한 것이 고운 파티클이나 거친 파티클만으로 제조한 것보다는 전체적으로 성능이 양호하였으며, 특히 표층에는 고운 파티클을 중충에는 거친 파티클을 구성하는 것이 표면 마감성이 가장 우수하였다. 그리고 밀도가 높을수록 박리강도, 휨 강도는 우수하나, 흡수두께 팽창율은 증가하였으며, 수지 도포량이 많을수록 박리강도, 흡수두께 팽창율은 양호하나, 포름알데히드의 방출량은 높았다. 가압온도는 높을수록 대부분의 성능이 향상되었으며, 190℃가 가장 적절하였다. 가압시간은 1단계 2분과 2단계 2분이 비교적 양호하나 2단계의 가압시간을 1분으로 단축하여도 성능에는 큰 문제가 없어 앞으로 생산성의 향상을 기대할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

요소수지접착제(尿素樹脂接着劑)를 사용(使用)한 곰솔 집성재(集成材)의 제조조건(製造條件)이 접착성질(接着性質)에 미치는 영향(影響) (Influence of Adhesion Condition on the Laminated Wood of Pinus thunbergii glued with Urea-formaldhyde Resin)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the block shear strength of the 2ply laminated wood composed of Pinus thunbergii with ureaformaldehyde resin as adhesives according to pressure (6, 9, 12, 15kg/$cm^2$), pressing time(5, 10, 20, 30 hrs.), amount of spread(54, 108, 217, 324g/$cm^2$), hardener(10, 20, 30, 40% of 10% $NH_4CL$ on resin) and extender(0, 5, 10, 15% wheat flour on resin), and the bending strength and bending young's modulus of laminated beam according to the number of ply. The results were summarized as follows; 1. According to pressing pressure with amount of spread 217g/$cm^2$ both dry and wet shear strength of laminated wood showed the highest in 15kg/$cm^2$, and hot-cold soaking treatment showed the highest in 9kg/$cm^2$, while all shear strength of dry, wet and hot-cold soaked laminated wood have been reduced with the increasing of pressing time. 2. According to amount of spread, adhesion strength with the dry, wet and hot-cold soaking treatments revealed the highest in 217g/$cm^2$ and have been reduced under or over 217g/$cm^2$ of spread. 3. According to addition of hardener and extender, all shear strength of laminated block with the dry, wet and hot-cold soaking treatments have been reduced in increasing of addition amount of hardener and extender. The bending strength of beam according to the number of ply showed the highest in 2ply laminated wood and horizontal loading beam to glue line had the higher in strength than the vertical loading.

  • 기계적 합금화 공정과 가압소결법으로 $Bi_{2}(Te_{0.9}Se_{0.1})_{3}$ 열전재료를 제조하여, 가압소결온도 및 dopant첨가에 따른 미세구조와 열전특성의변화를 연구하였다. 평균 3.6mm 크기의 Bi, Te, Se granule을 볼과 원료금속의 무게비 5:1에서 3 시간 기계적 합금화 하므로써 $Bi_{2}(Te_{0.9}Se_{0.1})_{3}$ 합금분말의 형성이 완료되었다. $Bi_{2}(Te_{0.9}Se_{0.1})_{3}$ 가압소결체의 성능지수는 $450^{\circ}C$ 이상의 온도에서 가압소결시 급격히 증가하였으며, $550^{\circ}C$에서 가압소결한 시편에서 $1.9{\times}10^{-3}/K$의 값을 얻었다. $550^{\circ}C$에서 가압소결한 $Bi_{2}(Te_{0.9}Se_{0.1})_{3}$의 성능지수는 acceptor dopant 인 Bi를 0.015wt %첨가함에 따라 $2.1{\times}10^{-3}/K$로 향상되었다.

Preparation and Toughening of Hot-Pressed SiC-AIN Solid Solutions

  • The preparation and toughening of SiC-AIN solid solution from powder mixtures of $\beta$-SiC, AIN and $\alpha$-SiC by hot-pressing were studied in the 1870 to $2030^{\circ}C$ temperature range. The reaction of AIN and $\beta$-SiC(3C) powders causing transformation to the 2H(wurtzite) structure appeared to depend on hot-pressing temperatures and an additive of $\alpha$-SiC. For the composition of 49wt% SiC with 2 wt% $\alpha$-SiC and 47.5 wt% AIN47.5wt% SiC with 5 wt % $\alpha$-SiC at 203$0^{\circ}C$ for 1 h, th complete solid solutions with a single phase of 2H could be obtained. The appreciable amount of $\alpha$-SiC could develop the columnar inter-grains of 4H phase and the stable 2H phase with the relatively uniform composition and grain size distributions. The effect of $\alpha$-SiC on the phases present and compositional microstructures with columnar inter-grains was invetigated using X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. The fracture toughness and Vickers hardness of the hot-pressed solid solutions wre examined by the indentation-fracture-test method.

용융탄산염형 연료전지의 전해질 매트릭스에 관한 연구 (Cold Rolling Process for the Matrix Fabrication of the Mcfc)

  • Electrolyte matrix fabrication process can be classifed as hot pressing, tape casting, callendering, electrophoretic deposition. however, these have limits in practice. Hot pressing is cumbersome method, because of careful heating and cooling. Furthermore, the perfected tile is so fragile that it is difficult to fit in a cell. Therefore this method is not adequate for mass production of the electrolyte matrix. Using electrophoretic deposition method, a very thin matrix can be made, but many attempts of the electrolyte embeding were found to be failure. Tape casting and callendering methods are employed in most of the matrix fabrication for the present. But these methods require lots of water as a solvent, so that coating of the LiAlO sub(2) with electrolyte is difficult. Recently, hot roll milling method has been developed and the perfected matrix was proved to be free from crack. The method, however, needs a roller to make a matrix and a perfected matrix is carefully striped off from the cooled roller. Therefore, this method requires a long time due to the cooling process. The author proposes a cold rolling process. On this method, heated slurry of the LiAlO sub(2) mixed with binder, is rolled with a cold roller. The heated slurry dose not adhere to the roller, since contacted hot slurry is rapidly solidified. Therefore fabrication speed is increased, without getting rid of merits of the hot rolling process.

  • 본 연구는 통상적으로 충밀도 섬유판 제조에 사용되고있는 요소수지를 페놀수지로 대체함으로써 그 장단점을 찾아 보기 위해 실행되었다. 페놀수지을 이용해 제조한 중밀도 섬유판의 성능은 표준 요건을 충족시켰으며 높은 내구성을 보였다. 아울러 24 시간 냉수 침적후 두께팽창은 2 퍼센트 이하로 낮게 나타났다. 요소수지를 페놀수지로 대체했을 경우 단점들은 비교적 높은 수지함량 (8% 섬유전건종량기준)과 긴 열압시간 (7 분)으로 판명되었다. 이러한 결과들은 페놀수지을 사용한 중밀도 섬유판제조시 열압공정의 최적화가 되어야함을 시사하였다.
