융합을 기반으로 4차 산업 혁명의 관심이 뜨거운 가운데 가구산업에도 IT기술과 융합한 스마트가구가 출시되면서 우리 생활에 편리하고 편안한 환경을 제공하기 시작하였다. 이에 본 연구는 융합을 기반으로 가구디자인 특성을 시대 변천에 따라 분석 하였다. 20세기 전 후의 융합 가구는 동양의 건축양식이나 캔틸레버와 같은 건축구조 및 재료를 융합한 디자인적 특성을 보인 반면, 21세기의 융합 가구는 IT기술을 바탕으로 스마트 홈서비스 및 네트워크를 지원할 수 있는 융합가구의 특징을 보이고 있다. 또한 1인 가구의 증가에 따른 소비 추세로 인해 소형 공간에 적용 가능하도록 복합적인 기능의 가구, 기능의 융합이나 콜라보레이션을 통해 다양한 소비자의 구매 패턴에 대응할 수 있는 융합가구 디자인의 특성을 보이고 있다. 이러한 특성을 통해 이제까지 낙후산업이라 인식되었던 가구산업이 첨단 산업으로 변신할 수 있는 가능성을 찾아 볼 수 있음과 동시에 본 논문이 가구산업의 발전에 기초적 자료가 될 것으로 기대한다.

This study was to identify the spatial and functional characteristics of kitchen and utility space plan in apartment housing. For this purpose, spatial arrangement and function of kitchen and utility space were analyzed according to the size of apartment unit. The results of this study were as follows; 1) The level of spatial separation among living room, dining room, and bedroom is higher in large-sized apartment. And diverse plans were applied for the kitchen of large-sized apartment. 2) To find out functional characteristics of kitchen space, furniture arrangement was analyzed. The I-type kitchen furniture is dominant for small-sized and medium-small apartment, and L-type furniture for medium-large and large sized apartment. 3) For most of the unit plans utility space is located on the balcony outside the kitchen. 4) Sub-kitchen and laundry are major function of utility space, but in case of balcony extention, the function of utility space is minimized. Recent plans for apartment housing shows various spatial arrangement and functions for kitchen and utility space.

This study intended to present a new direction of differentiated and innovative furniture design for small living space overcoming the uniformity of conventional small living. In order to achieve these goals, a new piece of furniture with multi functions useful for such small space has been designed and explained in this study. This new type multi-functional furniture can be utilized as kitchen, dining table, home bar or office stand depending on the user's necessity. In particular, it provides more adaptability to changing life and spatial availabilities for small living space in terms of space division, separation and fusion features. Based on the needs of small living space brought by social changes, the conventional concept of small living space, which divides space by partitions or walls, should be changed into flexible perception of space. Also, this research proposed the features of furniture design for functional shifts in terms of its functional, structural, and systematical aspects. In this respect, space can be regarded as a variable place and the image of space can be differently appreciated by means of shift, functional transition and mobility. That is, small living space can be perceived as kitchen, living space or working space at the same time. In conclusion, the versatile use of limited space can be a solution to the issues related to small living space; the convertible and movable furniture called F4 Island presented in this study can transform such spatially limited space into a space with multiple functions to meet the requirements of its residents.

The decrease in the birth rate of the modern changes in population structure changed recovery households and household members. This change was seen in the furniture sector, 2010 population housing total survey data according to the types of households and household members indicate that future changes. Problems can predict the various issues raised, and to ensure that the supply of housing of the population structure and household type is not done properly and home sales take a look at home since 2000, was popular during the 2010 State. Therefore, this study is suggesting workarounds necessary adjustments due to changes in population structure, analyze news coverage of members of households with housing demand and housing as a base quantity change in the future of furniture and home situation changes, including housing demand and supply to purpose. Specify the range of Daegu-City research studies range, national statistical data and related literature, comparative analysis of time trends and derive a conclusion.

In early Highlighting the client's personality especially, home design demands very careful consideration. It's not an easy task to understand the characteristics of each family member, to take into account their requirements, and strike proper harmony among them. For this Sampung Apartment Project, I decided to create a cozy homelike atmosphere by using overall modern and antique furniture, props, and lighting. I tried a different sense of space by choosing wood as the main material, installing furniture that looked antique, and applying painting with touch instead of pictures or wallpaper By the use of the light bulb color overall, lighting was yellow and added more comfort. Local lighting was used in certain places to add more fun along with the props. After choosing white as the main color, point colors were determined according to the client's inclination toward green and blue. The color choice also matched the client's paintings that were in soft green and blue. Each room was planned and color coordinated according to their own characteristics. The children's rooms were planned with such point colors as pink, green, and blue. The master bedroom and the family room were produced around gold and grey color, respectively.

The purpose of this study is to examine the remodeling behavior on the apartment built in furniture. The data were collected from 363 residents in Seoul area, living in apartments equipped with built-in furnitures. The major findings are as follows; 1)It was found out that 62-75% of those surveyed did not remodel their built-in furniture and 25-39% remodeled it. The major reasons for remodeling are the inconvenience in storing household items, lack of storage space and dissatisfaction of the design and color. 2)More than 80% of the apartment residents surveyed recognizes the necessity of the built-in furnitures, which were equipped already, in living room, kitchen, bathroom and the entrance area. A strong need is also indicated for the additional built-in furnitures in each bedroom, multi-service room and veranda. 3) This survey also indicated that 63-73% shows no intention of remodeling their built-in furnitures. On the other hand, 27-37% of those surveyed indicates their desire and plan to remodel them.

Most of us spend the greater part of our lives in the kitchen, but of all the man environments it maybe the least well-explored share commitment to a cleaner and healthier environment. It has long been kitchen system belief that the environment is a precious gift. In case of built in kitchen system, because it depend upon the earth's resources to design and manufacture steel hardware products, human beings feel an abiding responsibility to act wisely in the environmental choices we make, large and small, every day. Built in kitchen system, designed and coordinated by study of designer, represents an open, complete, free and 'focused' way of conceiving, furnishing and organizing one's own kitchen. A space rich in technical values and home warmth, where few, simple and carefully designed components distinguish and characterize the various work spaces, from the area, intended for preparing and washing food, to the cooking area, and to a wide range of multivalent pieces of furniture, wood paneled wall units and shelves.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the space feature of group day care home in Taegu city. This study was conducted by means of the observation on the equipments, the actual measurement of space and environment of group day care home. And the questionnaire survey by the chief of group day care home was also used for this study. The samples for analysis were 20 group day care home located in Taegu city. The major findings were as follows ; 1. The chief's satisfaction of the facilities of group day care home and it's management was generally low. 2. The design of door, the possessing of furniture, and the items related to toilet should be improved in the space or environmental conditions. 3. According to the observation on the equipments, it was found that the environment of group day care home was generally not desirable.

The purpose of this study was to investigate 1) color concept development in preschool children, 2) general color preferences using colored parers, 3) specific color preference using colored chairs, and 4) to determine the relationships of sex and age to general color preference. The present experiment with materials developed through the pilot experiment, was conducted with 70 3, 4, and 5-year-old children attending the Child development research institute of Yonsei Univ. as subjects. Data were analyzed with SAS package using frequency, percentage, $\chi$\sup 2\-test, C\sup 2\ and visualized by SAS graph with tektronix 4113.

스마트 홈(smart home)은 인간과 홈의 컨텍스트(context) 정보를 이용하여 인간에게 자동적인 홈 서비스(Home service)를 제공해줄 수 있는 미래의 환경이다. 인간의 위치와 모션은 스마트 홈에서 굉장히 중요한 컨텍스트이다. 본 논문은 스마트 홈에서 인간의 위치와 모션을 예측할 수 있는 실시간 휴먼 트랙커(tracker)를 연구하였다. 실시간 휴먼 트랙커를 위해 4개의 네트워크 카메라를 사용하였다. 본 논문에서는 실시간 휴먼 트랙커의 구조를 설명하고, 인간의 위치와 모션을 자동적으로 예측 및 판단하는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 인간 위치를 위해서 3개의 배경 이미지를 이용하였다(이미지1: 빈 방 이미지, 이미지2: 거주자가 제외 된 가구 및 가전 이미지, 이미지3: 전체 이미지). 실시간 휴먼 트랙커는 3개의 이미지를 비교하여 각 이미지로부터 추출되는 특징 값을 결정하고, 이들 특징 값을 SVM(Support Vector Machine)을 이용하여 각각의 모션을 예측하였다. 3개의 배경 이미지를 이용한 인간 위치 인식실험은 평균 0.037 초가 소요 되었다. SVM을 이용한 모션 인식 요소에서, 각 동작에 대하여 1000번씩 측정했고, 모든 모션의 정확도 평균은 86.5% 의 정확도를 보였다.
