The diversity elucidation by amplified ribosomal DNA restriction analysis and 16S rDNA sequencing of 96 associative diazotrophs, isolated from the feeder roots of tea on enriched nitrogen-free semisolid media, revealed the predominance of Gram-positive over Gram-negative bacteria within the Kangra valley in Himachal Pradesh, India. The Gram-positive bacteria observed belong to two taxonomic groupings; Firmicutes, including the genera Bacillus and Paenibacillus; and Actinobacteria, represented by the genus Microbacterium. The Gram-negative bacteria included ${\alpha}$-Proteobacteria genera Brevundimonas, Rhizobium, and Mesorhizobium; ${\gamma}$-Proteobacteria genera Pseudomonas and Stenotrophomonas; and ${\beta}$-Proteobacteria genera Azospira, Burkholderia, Delftia, Herbaspirillum and Ralstonia. The low level of similarity of two isolates, with the type strains Paenibacillus xinjiangensis and Mesorhizobium albiziae, suggests the possibility of raising species novum. The bacterial strains of different phylogenetic groups exhibited distinct carbon-source utilization patterns and fatty acid methyl ester profiles. The strains differed in their nitrogenase activities with relatively high activity seen in the Gramnegative strains exhibiting the highest similarity to Azospira oryzae, Delftia lacustris and Herbaspirillum huttiense.
Though hilly topography influences both wind speeds and directions aloft, only the influence on wind speeds, i.e. the speed-up effect, has been thoroughly investigated. Due to the importance of a model showing the spatial variations of wind directions above hilly terrains, it is worthwhile to systematically assess the applicability and limitations of the model describing the influence of hilly topographies on wind directions. Based on wind-tunnel test results, a model, which describes the horizontal and vertical variations of the wind directions separately, has been proposed in a companion paper. CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) techniques were employed in the present paper to evaluate the applicability of the proposed model. From the investigation, it has been found that the model is acceptable for describing the vertical variation of wind directions by a shallow hill whose primary-to-secondary axis ratio (aspect ratio) is larger than 1. When the overall hill slope exceeds $20^{\circ}$, the proposed model should be used with caution. When the aspect ratio is less than 1, the proposed model is less accurate in predicting the spatial variation of wind directions in the wake zone in a separated flow. In addition, it has been found that local slope of a hill has significant impact on the applicability of the proposed model. Specifically, the proposed model is only applicable when local slope of a hill varies gradually from 0 (at the hill foot) to the maximum value (at the mid-slope point) and then to 0 (at the hill top).

Engineering structures often suffer significant damage in the horizontal outflow region of downburst. The wall jet model, which simplifies the simulation device by only modeling the horizontal outflow region of downburst, has been widely employed to study downburst flow characteristics. However, research on downburst wind fields over hilly terrain using the wall jet model is limited, and the relationship between the downburst wind fields generated by wall jet and impinging jet remains unclear. This study investigates the flow characteristics of downburst-like wind over a 3D ideal hill model using wind tunnel tests with the wall jet and impinging jet models. The effects of hill height, slope, shape, and radial position on the speed-up ratio are examined using the wall jet flow. The results indicate that slope and radial position significantly affect the speed-up ratio, while hill height have a slight impact and shape have a minimal impact. Additionally, this study investigates the wind field characteristics over flat terrain using the impinging jet, and investigated the connection between the impinging jet model and the wall jet. Based on this connection, a comparison of the downburst-like flow characteristics over the same 3D ideal hill using the wall jet and impinging jet models is conducted, which further validates the reliability of the wall jet model for studying downburst flow characteristics over hilly terrain.
This experiment was conducted at the Kyungpook National University Agriculture college farm during 1988 to determine the effect of tiller no. Per hill increased culm length significantly decreased in all rice varieties. Flag leaf length was highest at one tiller no. Per hill in all varieties while flag leaf length decreased with increased tiller no. Per hill. Highest harvest index exhibited at 13 tiller no. Per hill in all varieties and also showed that Chil seongbyeo and Samgang byeo of Tongil variety were higher harvest index compared to Nagdongbyeo and Palgongbyeo of Japonica Variety. Tiller no. Per hill did not significantly affect the heading date except by delayed heading date on Chilseong and Samgangbyeo at one tiller no. Per hill. The correlation coefficients of competitive index and ripening ratio and harvest index were 0.60 and 0.77 respectively while panicle length was 0.43 and grain weight was 029.
The present study was conducted to measure the cardiorespiratory endurance of Jeju crossbred horses according to hill tests and exercise intensity, thereby providing foundational data for evaluation of running capability of horses. The nine Jeju crossbred horses were subjected to the hill test with an inclination of around $30^{\circ}$ and six out of nine horses were used to measure the cardiorespiratory endurance according to three different exercise intensities (moderate, heavy, and very heavy). The running time for the hill test was 205 sec on average, while high deviation was observed between horses from 167 to 258 sec. In addition, the running time for the hill test was highly correlated with moderate exercise. While no significant difference in average heart rate was found between exercise intensities, a trend of large variation was found in the average heart rate between horses. The heart rate recovery was highly correlated with heavy exercise and very heavy exercise. The results showed that no significant difference in average heart rate was found among three exercise intensities, but there are large individual variations among horses.
Purpose: To evaluate shoulder stability, clinical, and functional results more than 6 months after utilizing the 'Remplissage' technique, consisting of an arthroscopic posterior capsulodesis and infraspinatus tenodesis, to fill Hill-Sachs lesions. Materials and Methods: Seven patients were followed-up more than 6 months after the 'Remplissage' procedures performed in our hospital from August 2008 to August 2009. The mean age of the patients was 28.6 years and the mean follow-up time was 10 months. Evaluations included ROM, ASES score, KSSI score, ROWE score, and postoperative MRI. Results: In a functional evaluation of the patients with an average postoperative time of 10 months, the ASES score improved from 51.4 preoperatively to 76.8 postoperatively, the KSSI score improved from 46.5 preoperatively to 76 postoperatively, and the ROWE score improved from 43.5 preoperatively to 76.3 postoperatively. After an average postoperative time of 10 months, the range of motion was nearly normal (>170 degrees in further flexion, and >45 degrees in external rotation). Conclusion: In recurrent shoulder instabilities with large Hill-Sachs lesions, the 'Remplissage' technique resulted in good outcomes in terms of shoulder stability, clinical, and functional results after postoperative times of more than 6 months.

In this work, we investigated the theoretical forming limit models for Zircaloy-4 and Zirlo used for spacer grid of nuclear fuel rods. Tensile and anisotropy tests were performed to obtain stress-strain curves and anisotropic coefficients. The experimental forming limit diagrams (FLD) for two materials were obtained by dome stretching tests following NUMISHEET 96. Theoretical FLD depends on FL models and yield criteria. To obtain the right hand side (RHS) of FLD, we applied the FL models (Swift's diffuse necking, M-K theory, S-R vertex theory) to Zircaloy-4 and Zirlo sheets. Hill's local necking theory was adopted for the left hand side (LHS) of FLD. To consider the anisotropy of sheets, the yield criteria of Hill and Hosford were applied. Comparing the predicted curves with the experimental data, we found that the RHS of FLD for Zircaloy-4 can be described by the Swift model (with the Hill's criterion), while the LHS of the FLD can be explained by Hill model. The FLD for Zirlo can be explained by the S-R model and the Hosford's criterion (a = 8).
Purpose: We evaluated the minimal 1 year follow-up results (shoulder stability and the clinical and functional results) for the Remplissage technique to fill a Hill-Sachs lesion. Materials and Methods: The subjects were 12 patients who could be followed up for more than 12 months after the "Remplissage" procedures in our hospital from December 2008 to November 2009. Their mean age was 27.9 years old and the mean follow-up was 19 months. The evaluations included the ROM, the ASES score, the KSSI score, the ROWE score and postoperative MRI. Results: On the postoperative functional evaluation after an average of 16 months, the ASES score improved from 50.8 preoperatively to 78.3 postoperatively, the KSSI score improved form 44.5 preoperatively to 81.0 postoperatively and the ROWE score improved from 40.2 preoperatively to 84.3 postoperatively. After an average 14 months for all the cases, the range of movement was nearly in the normal range, which is 178.6${\pm}$18.6 (165~180) degrees for forward flexion and 49.3${\pm}$10 (43~60) degrees for external rotation. Conclusion: For recurrent shoulder instability with a large Hill-Sachs lesion, the Remplissage technique has a good outcome after more than 1 year follow-up in terms of the shoulder stability and the clinical and functional results.

The study was carried out to develop nursery soil for rice seedling of phyllite. First of all, physico-chemical properties of used phyllite in the study through the analysis for agricultural utilization evaluation are as following. Bulk density(BD) of phyllite was $1.31g/cm^3$ each other and porosity had 65% of entire pore size. Also, the water holding capacity(WHC) was 43% at 1/3bar pressure, which phyllite has high WHC. According to, the results the experiments for nursery soil were conducted by mixing the materials such as phyllite, zeolite and hill soil. The mixing ratios were 30, 50, and 70% for zeolite and hill soil into phyllite. These mixed materials were packed in a box by adding 0, 1 and 2g of N-fertilizer. At seedling test, there were increases in the growth of shoot and root of rice for phyllite to zeolite and phyllite to hill soil, respectively. On the other hand, the length of leaf increased with increasing application rate of phyllite, while length and a number of root increased with increasing application rate of hill soil. The growth in the plots of phyllite to zeolite and phyllite to hill soil was better than in control plot. Finally, phyllite plot had efficient results when it compared with others and the study used with phyllite will have to more research and effort for agricultural useful material.
