If examining utilization by completion of National Competency Standards development, efforts are made so as to organize curriculum matched to education or training and perform subjects based on competence unit educationally in specialized high schools, colleges and university. However, National Competency Standards is insignificantly utilized in enterprises and on the spot due to characteristics of occupation type and diversity of process. This thesis intended to measures of safety efficiency improvement of final enterprise through the human resources assessment system of National Competency Standards based enterprise. Therefore, various methodologies were introduced and results of analysis by Balanced ScoreCard method were suggested for policy measures improving final safety efficiency. The results of this analysis are expected to make contribution to improving the effectiveness of the government's industrial safety and health policies through the establishment of systematic safety and health systems according to the risk level of individual business.

Construction Management(CM) system, which was introduced some years ago to large national construction projects, such as the construction of Incheon New Airport, construction of high-speed railroad and World Cup stadiums, is considered to be still in its early stage and safety at each step of CM is very poorly controlled. In an attempt to improve such inferior safety control of domestic CM, this study analyzed safety control operation system in CM home and abroad and suggested a model for the construction of safety control management information system suitable to the conditions of Korea.

The objective of this study is to develop a new system that is simpler to be used to keep the safe workplace at the small food manufacturers which employees less than 10 persons. The number of these small food manufacturers is 13,853 and account for almost 80% of all food manufacturers. Most of these companies do not pay attention to safety and thus keep high accident potential. It is very important to persuade these companies to manage safety but they can hardly handle the complicated requirements of safety, health, quality, food quality, and musculoskeletal disorders intervention. This system is intended to develop a system which can be easily implemented but comprehensive to reflect main points in safety management, musculoskeletal disorders intervention,. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, KOSHA 18001, GAP and ISO 22000.

The standard of living has been getting higher by reason of industrialization and economic growth. It makes people have more cultural desire(wants). Because of reasons mentioned above, a number of entertainment place and performance with high-tech is increased. This has been brought also increasing a number of electrical accident such as electrical shock, electrical fires and accidents of electrical facilities. This paper suggests technical, operational and special precautions of actual electric main line systems in entertainment places and is also written on the purpose of being applied with related provisions to designing electrical facilities, construction, check-up and inspection and maintenance for preventing further electrical disasters in entertainment places.

In Japan, protective measures to reduce falls from scaffolds have been strictly applied within industry safety guidelines, and such measures have significantly decreased fatal accidents due to falls from scaffolds. However, the rate of fatal accidents from falls is still high in the construction industries. In order to examine further countermeasures to reduce such falls, the Japan Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare established a committee in our institute. That committee$\acute{i}$s work experimentally confirmed the effectiveness of using plastic sheets as a covering around scaffolds to protect against falls of construction materials (a method widely used in Japan). However, the workers fell from the space between the work platform and the plastic sheets very occasionally. Based on those results, the plastic sheets were improved for fall protection from the space, and the effect of the improved sheets was confirmed experimentally.

The intention of this study is to analyze safety consciousness of construction labors in Gawang-Ju region. According to Korea Occupational Safety & Health Agency, the rate of disaster in construction industry is very high comparing with other fields. Most of all, the consciousness of construction labors is very important because accidents are caused from it mainly. For this reason, it is necessary to recognize safety consciousness of labors who directly work in construction field. For decreasing the rate of disaster in construction, I examined and analyzed safety consciousness of construction labors and then, groped improvement of safety activity. Finally, this study deducted improvement of safety activities and management.

The domestic construction industry is becoming larger, high-rise and specialized. However, safety consciousness is still staying in low levels and falling accidents are apt to rise compared to other industries. So, the new way of safety management is required for reducing of the construction falling accidents. In this paper, we evaluate appropriateness of safety management on construction sites utilizing USN using smart safery equipment. Thus, we calculate loss costs of falling accidents considering accident rates and costs of the USN using smart safery equipment installation then compare both calculated costs. This research aims to propose the method for reduction of construction accidents in addition to conventional safety control methods by analyzing the propriety of applying USN using smart safery equipment on construction sites.

Construction projects in urban areas often disrupt pedestrian paths and expose pedestrians to risks by forcing them to detour onto roadways. Despite rising pedestrian fatalities and injuries near construction sites, most research predominantly focuses on the safety of on-site workers, with limited studies addressing pedestrian safety. This study aims to fill this gap by identifying environmental factors that cause discomfort to pedestrians, potentially leading to hazardous impacts. A total of 252 photos of streetscape areas near construction sites, including seven environmental factors (i.e., traffic cones, fences, barrier walls, materials, heavy equipment, roads, and sidewalks), were collected and evaluated by 41 participants using a 5-point Likert scale. The survey findings indicate that barrier walls enhance pedestrians' perception of safety. Conversely, it is observed that traffic cones, materials, and heavy equipment have adverse effects on pedestrian safety. These results underscore the need for enhanced safety measures targeting these high-risk factors to create pedestrian-friendly construction sites. This study contributes to developing more proactive pedestrian safety management strategies and ultimately reduces pedestrian injuries.

The purpose of this research is to analyze perceptions of consumers and willingness to play for high-priced food. The price dispersions of four food categories - soybean sprouts, tofu, milk, and egg - were analyzed through the market analysis, and the survey with the structured questionnaire was utilized to get information on the reason why consumers buy and don't buy the high-priced food. It tested whether a consumer would change the choice if the new product information on safety issues is offered and if the price of high-priced food is lowed. Results showed that generally consumers don't have the confidence on the level of safety and comparative advantages of quality of high-priced food, but they just purchase the high-priced food as long as they can afford it.

Recently the construction of high-rise reinforced concrete building is progressively increased as the social demands. It is significantly important factors such as economy, the safety of structure, and the flexibility of internal space. Therefore new structural system is also required to be attained the reduction of story height, the flexibility and efficient use of space. The most suitable structural system is with the economy and flexibility, flat plate slab system in high-rise reinforced concrete building. In this research, it was focused in the improvement of shear performance in the flat plate system using high ductile fiber reinforced mortar. It was evaluated the shear performance in the critical region of slab-column connection. The flat plate system, designed by the high performance and safety, was developed as a new technique in the application of high-rise R/C building.
