This experiment is to improve the wrinkle recovery (W.R.) of silk fabrics. The silk fabrics is creased very well, and the crease is the serious defection of it. This experiment is to improve the nature by use of formaldehyde on fabrics. The reagents used were HCl, CH$_3$COOH, CaC$_2$, HCHO, Na$_2$CO$_3$, NH$_4$OH, NaOH and NaHCO$_3$. The silk fabrics was treated, to compare 1 he influence of conditions, by varying the quantities of reagents and the temperature of solution, and the reaction time. The cotton fabrics and the viscose rayon were sunk with the silk at the same condition to be compared the influence. 1) Those of the most suitable temperature to improve for the better W.R. are 75$^{\circ}C$ for silk, 35-45$^{\circ}C$ for cotton, and no particular temperature under 75$^{\circ}C$ for viscose rayon. 2) The W.R. improvements after treated at the temperature of 1) were 11% for silk and 33.4% for cotton. 3) There are the best treating time for every fabrics. They were 60 to 90 min. for viscose rayon when HAC Ras used for solvent. It took, however, 60min. of the best time for silk, 120 min. for cotton, and 40 min. for viscose rayon when acetic anhydride instead of HAC was used. 4) It was possible to improve 16.6% of W.R. for silk at the most suitable treating time, 25.0% for cotton, and 13.3% for viscose rayon. 5) Acetic anhydride was rather more effective to improve W.R. of both silk and viscose rayon than HAC. 6) Treating time was also shorter in case of using acetic anhydride than HAC. 7) The improvement of W.R. were 8.3% for silk at the 10 to 14 ml. of HCHO the best volume, 21. 5% for cotton at 18m!. of HCHO, and 70% of for viscose rayon at 14 to 18ml. of HCHO. 8) The most effective quantity of HCI is 14 ml. for both silk and cotton. The W.R. improvement of silk was 22.2%, and that of cotton 19.5%. 9) The W.R. of 83.3% the best for silk and 61. 6% for cotton were gained when 4.2gr. of NaHCO$_3$ brings down the percent of W.R. for both silk and cotton. 10) The more NaOH and NH$_4$OH as neutralizing agents, the less effectivity of W.R. until the quantities of the reagents are reached to a special range which are 3. 3m!. for silk and 3.3-6.6 ml. for cotton, and then we can see the W.R. increasing as the quantities of reagents are increased. These facts were evident in case of silk and cotton. We can also see with this fact that the reminder of 〔OH$\^$-/〕 neutralizing 〔CH$\^$+/〕in solution makes it possible to treat formaldehyde on fabrics. 11) Low curing temperature was comparatively better for silk, and high temperature better for cotton. 12) The result of this experiment shows that the Improvement of W.R. for silk was possible to 94% which means 22% W.R. increase compared to the untreated silk. This effect also shows that the improvement to W '||'&'||' W (wash and wear) of silk will be possible.

The purpose of this study is to understand a compressive strength and propose a dry shrinkage strain equation being able to predict dry shrinkage of alkali-activated materials(AAM) mortar samples manufactured using fly-ash(FA) and ground granulated blast furnace slag(GGBFS). The main parameters investigated were the GGBFS replace ratios(30, 50, 70 and 100%) and sodium silicate modules(Ms[$SiO_2/Na_2O$] 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0). The compressive strength of AAM increased with increases GGBFS replace ratios or Ms contents. The dry shrinkage strain of AAM decreased with increases Ms contents. But, the dry shrinkage strain of AAM increased as the GGBFS replace ratio increases. Therefore, the GGBFS replace ratio seems to have very significant and important consequences for the mix design of the AAM mortar. The results indicated the R-square of single regression analysis based on each mix properties was the highest value; 0.7539~0.9786(average 0.9359). And the presumption equation of dry shrinkage strain with all variables(GGBFS, Ms and material age) has higher accuracy and its R-square was 0.8020 at initial curing temperature 23 degrees Celsius and 0.8018 at initial curuing temperature 70 degrees Celsius.

The phenomena that we experience in everyday life such as snow, rain, wind, and temperature are referred to as weather, and the average state of atmospheric phenomena that occur over a long period of time in a specific region is referred to as climate. In addition, significant variation of climate compared to the average state is referred to as climate change. Concrete structures can have various problems when exposed to elements. Among the problems, the freeze-thaw problem due to extreme climatic factors such as heavy rain and snowfall has become a particularly significant issue recently. The concrete that has been subjected to repeated freeze-thaw rather than too high or low temperature shows serious degradation of durability, and the performance of structures with degraded performance is difficult to recover. Therefore, in this study, concrete durability performance with respect to freeze-thaw from curing conditions change due to wind speed and sunshine exposure time. Concrete freeze-thaw experiment are performed. using wind speed and sunlight exposure time. Also, performance based evaluation through the satisfaction curve based on the freeze-thaw test results are performed.

In this work, the cure behaviors of the DGEBA/PMR-15 blends initiated by N-benzylpyrazinium hexafluoroantimonate (BPH) as a cationic latent catalyst were performed in DSC and DMA analyses. And, the thermal stabilities were carried out by TGA analysis and their mechanical interfacial properties of blends were measured in the context of critical stress intensity factor ($K_{IC}$). As a result, the curing activation energy ($E_a$) determined from Ozawa's equation in DSC and the relaxation activation energy ($E_r$) from DMA were increased with increasing PMA-15 content. Also, the thermal stabilities obtained from the integral procedural decomposition temperature (IPDT) and the glass transition temperature ($T_g$) were highly improved with increasing the PMR-15 content, which were probably due to the high heat resistance. And, the $K_{IC}$ showed a similar behavior with $E_a$, which was attributed to the improving of the interfacial adhesion or hydrogen bondings between intermolecular chains.
Tetragonia tetragonides is a medicinal plant native to ocean sand soil of southern provinces and has significant effects on the prevention and curing of gastroenteric disorders. Despite of its popularity, supply of the plant has never met the level of demand because of the absence of an adequate culturing method. The present study, thereby, was conducted for classifying the plants with geographically different characteristics, studying growth habits, developing a new culturing method and establishing a large scale propagation system of selected superior individual plants. The study was also aimed for revealing optimum conditions for seed treatment, fertilization, and efficient culturing system and thereby, for utilizing the plant as a new income source for rural communities. The seed was elongated with size of 2.6 mm (width) ${\times}$ 1.8 mm (length). No difference in seed size was observed depending on different inhabitate. Each flower produced about 4.5~4.8 seeds. Germination rate was high for seeds matured for 40 days after fertilization, but deceased to 50% for seeds matured only for 20 or 30 days. Seed dormancy lasted 6 months and seed storage at humid $5^{\circ}C$ facilitated germination. Mechanical obstruct of seed germination was due to seed coat and removal of seed coat enhanced the germination rate. Optimum temp. for seed storage was $5^{\circ}C$, and high germination rate was maintained for 350 days. However, for stratification condition or at room temperature, germination was significantly reduced as storage time increased Optimum treatment of plant growth regulators was soaking in $GA_3$ 250 mg/L for 1 hr. The priming treatment with 50 mM $Ca(NO_3)_2$ at $20^{\circ}C$ for two days improved the seed germination with 10% compared to non-treated control. The treatment of 20% NaOCl for 3 hr. improved the seed germination rate up to 10% and 1 day ahead.
This study reports the properties of high early strength & durability of concrete using PC admixture. To apply these data to construction site, we did the lab tests. The target of this study is to accomplish early strength of concrete (5.0 Mpa/18 hr), and we did the durability tests such as length change test, chloride ion penetration test, fleeting and thawing test, adiabatic test, etc. And we tested the porperties of concrete by the different factors, such as the type of admixtures, curing temperature, the amount of binder, etc. Through the test of concrete using the different type of admixture, PC type was more excellent than PNS type admixture. As a result, we made a concrete of high early strength concrete, and excellent durable concrete. According to these tests, we concluded that we can apply this type of PC admixture to the civil & construction site, and we can reduce the term of works and finally we will accomplish the economical construction.

In this research, the geopolymer was fabricated using municipal solid waste incineration ash (denoted as MSWIA) slag and alkali activator, NaOH and its properties were analyzed. Particularly, the effects of NaOH molarity, particle size of MSWIA, and liquid/solids ratio on the compressive strength of geopolymers were investigated. The compressive strength of geopolymers fabricated increased with finer grain size of MSWIA, and optimum value of the liquid/solids ratio was identified as 0.13. As the molarity of the NaOH increased, the compressive strength of geopolymers was increased. Even more the 20 M of NaOH, but the strength was not increased. The calcium aluminum silicate and calcium aluminum silicate hydrate zeolites were generated in the geopolymer fabricated with more than 20 M of NaOH, with some unreacted silica and unknown crystals remained. The highest compressive strength, 163 MPa, of geopolymer was appeared at conditions of curing temperature $70^{\circ}C$, and 20 M of NaOH, indicating that the high concentration of NaOH accelerates the geopolymer reaction and dense microstructure. The high-strength geopolymer fabricated in the present study is expected to contribute significantly to develop the field of cement alternative substances and to improve the recycling rate of MSWIA slag.
The experiment was carried out to investigate the properties of bark extractives form Larix epilepsies and to evacuate their suitability as a bonding agent. The yield and reactivity were measured to examine the influence of temperature and time and the effect of carbonation and sulfonation. To define the possibility of practical application as wood adhesives the viscosity and gelation time were measured at 33% concentration. The results obtained were summarized as follows : 1. As the both yield and reactivity were high, extraction for 2 hours at $80^{\circ}C$ was the optimal temperature and time. 2. The highest effect achieved at 1% $Na_2CO_3$ about carbonation and 1% $Na_2SO_3$ : $NaHSO_3$ and 0.25% $Na_2SO_3$ about sulfonation. The sulfonation of 0.25% $Na_2SO_3$ increased the yield and reactivity most highly. 3. By using hot water as extraction liquid the yield was 17.2%, while the addition of 1% and 5% NaOH to the extraction liquid increased the yield to 38.6% and 44.6%, respectively. 4. Hot water extracts showed the highest reactivity(68.8%). The addition of 1% and 5% NaOH led to decrease in reactivity(49.3% and 25.8%, respectively). 5. At 33% concentration of the extracts the viscosity appeared very variable. Significantly high values of viscosity was measured in 1% NaOH solution, while very low values appeared for 5% NaOH solution. 6. The shortest gelation time was determined at pH 7 to 10 and the highest at pH 4. The use of paraformaldehyde resulted in gelation times longer than those of 37% formaldehyde solution. 7. Except the sulfonation extracts of hot water and 1% NaOH, the other extracts were found unsuitable due to high viscosity(1% NaOH extracts, sulfonation extracts) or to curing inability(5% NaOH extracts, sulfonation extracts of 5% NaOH). 8. From the three extract solutions which appeared to be suitable for use as bonding agents the hot water extracts and the sulfonation extracts of hot water were superior in extract reactivity, while the sulfonation extracts of 1% NaOH exceeded the other two extracts in extract yield.
Flow-induced voids during resin impregnation and poor fiber wetting have known to be highly detrimental to the performance of composite parts manufactured by resin transfer molding(RTM) process. In this study, in order to overcome these serious problems encountered in RTM, the effects of surface modification by using silane coupling agent as a surface modifier on the flow characteristics, the wetting between resin and fiber, and void content were investigated. For the experiments of microscopic flow visualization and curing in a beam mold, glass fiber mats having plain weaving structure and epoxy resin were used. Modifying the fiber surface was found to result in a significant decrease of dynamic contact angle between resin and fiber and increase of wicking rate. Therefore, it was confirmed that the surface modification employed in this study could improve the wettability of reinforcing fibers as well as micro flow behavior. In addition, It was revealed that high temperature and low penetration rate of the resin are more favorable processing conditions to reduce the dynamic contact angle. However, surface modified fiber mat was found to have lower permeability than the unmodified one, which may be explained in terms of the decrease of contact time between resin and fiber owing to improvement of wetting. It was also exhibited that surface modification had a significant influence on void formation in RTM process, resulting in a decrease of overall void content due to the improvement of wetting in cured composite parts.
Poly(ester-imide)(PEI) for the electrical insulation coating was synthesized and evaluated with one-step method as well as two-step method. For the synthesis of poly(ester-imide), imide repeat unit of N,N'-(4,4'-diphenylmethane) bistrimellitimide(DID) was initially made from trimellitic anhydride(TMA) and methylene dianiline(MDA), followed by the second stage reaction of esterification. One-step reaction was performed by reaction of TMA, MDA, dimethyl terephthalate(DMT), ethylene glycol(EG), and 1,3,5-tris-(2-hydroxy ethyl) isocyanurate(THEIC) in m-cresol solvent at a time. The synthesized poly(ester-imide) was cured with xylene, P-5030K(phenol-formaldehyde resin), TK-8(TDI type blocked polyisocyanate) and tetrapropyltitanate(TPT). It was found that the content of hydroxyl group, amount of DMT, and imide repeat unit played important role for the properties of electrical insulation coating film.
