높이 맵의 효율적인 뷰 의존적 표현 (Efficient View-dependent Refinement of a Height Map)

  • This paper proposes a procedure enabling the extraction of view-dependent triangular approximations from a height map. In general, procedures to approximate a height map use tree hierarchies. These methods, however, have a limitation in terms of accuracy, because they depend on tree hierarchy than terrain features. To overcome the difficult, we apply the simplification method for triangular meshes to a height map. The proposed procedure maintains full decimation procedure to support multiresolution. The maintenance of decimation procedure results in creation of the groups (trees), each of which consists of vertices that can be merged into one vertex (root node). As the groups have tolerance which is determined by some tests, they support the generation of view-dependent arbitrary triangular meshes.

  • It is quite difficult to transfer the National Height System 1985 to the island in China. In the study, one feasible and alternative way, which measures synchronally the tide variation at the island and the coast , is firstly introduced. Then, a new method is proposed. This new method combines GPS technique and Quasi-Geoid Determination technique (GQGD). It needs gravity data, GPS data, leveling data and DEM data, together with complex calculation method and the Earth gravity model. After describing the mathematical model and presenting the calculational steps, one experiment has been shown that this method is valid and can achieve accuracy up to 5 cm for the normal height, compared with the results both from the tidal observation and height approximation. Some suggestion is also given in the end.

DDInSAR 기반의 빙하연구를 위한 동남극 테라노바 만의 조위모델 정밀도 평가 (Accuracy Assessment of Tide Models in Terra Nova Bay, East Antarctica, for Glaciological Studies of DDInSAR Technique)

  • 이중차분간섭기법(Double-Differential Interferometric SAR; DDInSAR)을 이용하여 빙하의 조위반응을 정확히 해석하기 위해서는 극지 해양에 대한 조위모델의 정밀도 평가가 수행되어야 한다. 이 연구에서는 동남극 테라노바 만에서 TPXO7.1, FES2004, CATS2008a, Ross_Inv 조위모델의 정밀도를 평가하기 위해 2년 동안 획득된 16쌍의 one-day tandem COSMO-SkyMed SAR 간섭영상으로부터 생성한 120개의 DDInSAR 영상과 수압식 파고계로 11일 동안 실측한 조위를 이용하였다. 먼저, DDInSAR 영상과 조위모델로 추출된 조위의 이중차분값(${\Delta}\dot{T}$)을 비교하였으며, 실측조위와 조위모델의 조위(T), 그리고 실측조위와 조위모델 조위의 24시간 차분값($\dot{T}$)을 비교하였다. ${\Delta}\dot{T}$와 T, $\dot{T}$의 평균제곱근오차(root mean square error; RMSE)는 조위모델의 역기압 효과(inverse barometer effect; IBE) 보정 후에 감소하였고, 이로부터 조위모델의 IBE는 필수적으로 보정되어야 함이 확인되었다. $\dot{T}$${\Delta}\dot{T}$는 T보다 작은 RMSE를 보였다. 이는 SAR 간섭쌍의 시간차(24시간) 동안의 차분값인 에 조위모델과 실측조위의 평균해수면 오차와 조위모델이 사용하는 조화상수 중 $S_2$, $K_2$, $K_1$, $P_1$의 오차가 상쇄되기 때문이다. 따라서 IBE가 보정된 조위모델의 $\dot{T}$${\Delta}\dot{T}$가 DDInSAR 기법에 사용될 수 있음을 확인하였다. 단기간 실측된 조위로는 최적의 조위모델 선정에 어려움이 있었으나, DDInSAR를 이용한 정밀도 평가에 의하면 Ross_Inv가 4.1 cm의 RMSE를 보여 테라노바 만의 DDInSAR에 가장 적합한 조위모델로 확인되었다.

정확성 평가결과에 따른 태권도 평원 품새 동작의 운동학적 분석 (Kinematic Analysis of Accuracy Evaluation of Pyeongwon Poomsae)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the relations between accuracy score and the motions which are performed in PyeongWon Poomsae, thereby developing objectivity in accuracy evaluations for Poomsae competitions. Method : The subjects were six male Poomsae players (age: $21.2{\pm}1.17yrs$, height: $173.4{\pm}3.95cm$, weight: $67.7{\pm}7.65kg$). A three-dimensional motion analysis was performed on the subjects using six high-speed cameras (60 frames/sec) and subjects' performed motions were evaluated by 5 evaluators. The entire Pyeong Poomsae was divided into 13 events and 9 phases; there were three pairs of symmetric phases among them: front kick & turning side kick phases (3PH, 3-1PH), arm motion & stance phases (4PH, 4-1PH), side kick with Hakdari-stance phases (5PH, 5-1PH). Performance time, change and range of COM, height of vertex, and foot of side kicks were analysed. The Data was analysed utilizing correlation analysis. Results : There was a positive correlation between accuracy score and the difference between right and left range of COM (X direction) at 4PH (r=0.921, p=0.009). Conclusion : The results of our study indicate that it is necessary to consider some of objective criterion such as performance time, COM range, and symmetrical movements in accuracy evaluations of Poomsae competitions.

부산지역에서의 NNSS 위치의 정도 (Accuracy of the NNSS Fix in Pusan Areas)

  • 1985년 1월 28일부터 7월 20일까지 한국어업기술훈련소(Lat. 35$^{\circ}$05'04N, Long, 129$^{\circ}$02'13E)에서 NNSS로 연속관측하여 관측시간, 위성별, 앙각, 통과방향, doppler count 수, 안테나의 높이 등이 NNSS위치의 정도에 미치는 영향을 분석.검토한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 위성항법에서 사용하고 있는 WGS-72 측지계를 Bessel측지계로 변환하여 계산하면, 편위오차를 평균 0.21마일 정도로 줄일 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 2. 산정의 앙각이 높을 때 측위정도가 높았고, 위성의 앙각이 20~70도 범위에서 더욱 높았다. 3. Doppller count 수가 21번 이상일 때 측위거리의 오차도 커지는 경향을 나타내었으며, 위성의 종류에 다른 측위오차의 변동은 거의 없었다.

Improved Height Determination Using a Correction Surface by Combining GNSS/Leveling Co-points and Thailand Geoid Model 2017

  • The evolution of the GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) technology has enhanced positioning performance in terms of positioning accuracy and time efficiency. The technology makes it possible to determine orthometric heights at a few centimeter accuracies by transforming accurate ellipsoid heights if an accurate geoid model has been employed. This study aims to generate a correction surface using GNSS/leveling co-points and a local geoid model, Thailand Geoid Model 2017 (TGM2017), through the Kriging interpolation method in a small local area. Combining the surface and TGM2017 significantly improves height transformation with the 1-cm RMSE (Root Mean Square Error) fit of 10 GNSS/leveling reference points and a mean offset of +0.1 cm. The evaluation of the correction surface at 5 GNSS/leveling checkpoints shows the RMSE of 1.0 cm, which is 82.6 percent of accuracy improvements. The GNSS leveling method can possibly be used to replace a conventional leveling technique at a few centimeter uncertainties in the case of small areas with clear-sky and high satellite visibility environments.

T형 제품의 파인 블랭킹 가공 특성에 미치는 스트리핑력과 카운터 펀칭력의 영향 (Influence of Stripping and Counter Punching Forces on Fine Blanking Characteristics of T-shaped Products)

  • This study is performed for investigating the effects of stripping and counter punching forces on shearing characteristics in fine blanking of T-shaped products, such as camber, burr-height and dimensional accuracy, etc by experiments. Conventional hydraulic press is used for experiments so that both the stripping force and counter punching force can be arbitrarily adjusted by another hydraulic unit connected to the fine blanking die. Specimens are selected as hot rolled steel sheet and carbon steel sheet commonly used in auto- mobile company. Based on the experimental results, both the dimensional accuracy and the burr height are not influenced by the stripping and counter punching forces, wherease the camber height representing dish- shaped deflection is much influenced by them, it can be seen through this study that the finely cut surface of T-shaped blank can be obtained even in conventional hydraulic press if additional equipments and specially designed die are employed.

차량높이 계측을 통한 차종분류 향상 방안 연구 (Improvement of Vehicle Classification Method using Vehicle Height Measurement)

  • 도로를 주행하는 차량들을 구분하는 차종자료는 도로 및 포장의 설계와 관리 등 여러 분야에서 기초자료로 활용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 차종구분에 차량높이라는 분류기준을 적용하기 위해 주행하는 차량의 높이를 계측할 수 있는 방법을 고안하고 현장에 장비를 설치한 후 실험을 통해서 차량길이와 차량최고높이 자료를 획득하였다. 차량높이 측정과 동시에 동영상을 촬영하여 국토해양부 12종 차종분류에 의거하여 차종분류 기준값을 작성하였다. 영상을 통해 작성된 차종자료 기준값과 측정된 차량길이와 차량높이를 토대로 판별함수를 이용한 차종분류값을 서로 비교한 결과 88.6%의 차종정확도를 확인하였다. 이를 통해 차량높이라는 분류기준을 적용하여 차종분류에 활용할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다.

2006-2007년 한반도 인근 해양기상 특성 : 파랑 (Marine Meteorological Characteristics in 2006-2007 year near the Korean Peninsular : Wind Waves)

  • Analysis has been made on the wind wave characteristics in terms of significant wave height ($H_s$) near the Korean marginal seas in the 2006 - 2007 year using the third generation wave model, WAVEWATCH - III model. In order to evaluate its performance, its results were compared with the observed data using KMA ocean buoy. The two year average RMSE between modeled and observed Hs shows reasonably small value of about 0.37 m. The accuracy of predicted values in the year 2007 is increased mainly due to finer model grid size and better accurate wind field. The model used in this study predicts very well the characteristics ($H_s$) of wind waves near the Korean Peninsular. Simulated monthly wind waves show the evident seasonal variations due to Typhoons in summer season. When Typhoons approach to Korean Peninsular, the accuracy of wind waves predictions is lower than that of annual mean value.

Further Development of Vision-Based Strain Measurement Methods to Verify Finite Element Analyses

  • One of the preferred methods that can be used to verify the results of finite element analysis is to measure surface strains of the deformed part for purpose of direct comparison with simulation results. Instead of using the usual manual method the vision-based measurement method is capable of determining surface geometry and strain from the deformed grid pattern automatically with the help of a computer. To obtain strain distribution over an area, the coordinates of such a surface grid are determined from the multiple video images by applying the photogrammetry principle. Methods to improve the overall accuracy of the vision-based strain measurement system are explored and the possible accuracies that can be attained by such a measurement method are discussed. A major emphasis is placed on the initial grid application method its accuracy and ease of subsequent image processing. Finite element analyses of limiting dome height(LDH) test are carried out and the results of them are compared with exsperimen-tal data.
