삼각가열에 의한 판 변형의 시뮬레이션 (Simulation of Plate Deformation by Triangle Heating Process)

  • 선체 외판 제작을 위한 곡가공은 조선에 있어서 필수적인 공정이다. 프레스를 이용한 냉간가공과 가스토치를 이용한 열간가공이 주를 이루는데, 특히 숙련된 기능공의 작업 경험에 전적으로 의존하는 열간가공 공정에 대한 자동화 요구가 증대되어 국내외적으로 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 연구는 향후 삼각가열에 대한 효율적인 변형해석 기법을 개발하기 위한 기초 연구로서 삼각가열에 의한 판의 변형특성과 그 주요인자를 파악하고자 하였다. 실제 조선소에서 현장조건 그대로 Jang 등(2001)이 실시한 일련의 삼각가열 실험 결과를 토대로 열탄소성 해석을 위한 수치해석 모델을 개발하고 상용 구조해석 프로그램인 ANSYS를 이용하여 삼각가열에 의한 판의 변형을 시뮬레이션하였다. 또한, 총 투입 열량이 같은 경우 선상가열과 삼각가열에 의한 변형 양상을 비교하여 각 가열법에 따른 변형 특성을 보다 명확히 하였다. 마지막으로, 단위부피당 투입열량에 따른 각 변형 성분의 변화 특성을 살펴보았다.

  • During fabrication of deck house block in passenger ships, the problem of unexpected large deformation and distortion frequently occurs. In this case, line and spot heating method were widely used to correct the distortion of thin plate structure. Spot heating was especially used for the case under 5mm thickness. Few papers are available on the working conditions of spot heating method but only little information on deformation control. In this study, evaluation was carried out on the temperature distribution of spot heating methods using FEA and practical experiments for various heating time. IIn FEA, heat input model was established using Tsuji's double Gaussian heat input mode (Tsuji, I., 1988). This model was verified by comparing with experimental data. Also radial shrinkage and angular distortion due to spot heating were determined and compared with experimental results. Thermo elasto-plastic analysis was performed using commercial FE code, MSC/MARC. Radial shrinkage and angular distortion were measured using 3D measuring apparatus. Based on these results, simplified analysis model for deformation by spot heating was established.

  • The Induction heating is used in various industry and ever-increasing number of applications. The heating roll, which is a kind of induction heating, widely used in curing of coatings and fiber industry. In this papaer, we analized thermal characteristic of induction heating roll by three dimensional eddy-current analysis. Using this analytic results, We could predict the thermal distribution of induction heating roll.

  • 선상가열의 열원으로는 가스 가열법, 고주파 유도 가열법, 그리고 레이저 가열법 등이 사용될 수 있다. 가스 가열법은 많은 조선소등에서 사용되고 있으나 가열 후 얻어지는 잔류변형을 제어하는데 많은 어려움이 있다. 고주파 유도 가열법은 비교적 정확한 변형량 제어가 가능하다는 장점을 가지고 있어서 새로운 선상가열 열원으로서 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구에서는 고주파 유도가 열법을 이용한 선상 가열의 변형 특성 및 가열장치의 특성을 파악하기 위한 기본단계로써 고주파 유도가열에 의한 열변형 과정에 대한 해석을 시도하였다. 전자장 해석과 와전류 해석, 와전류에 의하여 판에 발생하는 온도 분포, 그리고 열탄소성 변형 해석을 수행하였다.

  • In the shipyard, line heating and triangle heating are two major processes for forming curved plates in various shapes. While there have been many studies on line heating, triangle heating has been rarely studied due to its complicated heating process with irregular multi-heating paths and highly concentrated heat input. As the triangle heating process is one of the most labor-consuming jobs in shipyards, it is essential to study the automation as well as improvement of triangle heating process in order to increase hull forming productivity. In this study, a pioneering attempt to simulate triangle heating was made. A circular disk-spring model was proposed for elasto-plastic analysis procedure of triangle heating and the inherent strain method was also used to analyze the deformation of plates. Simulation results were compared with those of experiments and showed good agreement. It is shown that the present approach including analysis model used in this study is effective to simulate the triangle heating for plate forming process in shipbuilding.

  • Induction heating is utilized in a large and ever-increasing number of application. The most prominent of these are billet heating, heat treating, metals joining, and metal melting. In these day, heating roll, a kind of induction heating, is widely used in curing of coatings and fiber industry. In this paper, we analyzed thermal characteristic analysis of induction heating roll according to primary material. Using this analysis results, efficiency of induction heating roll could be improved.

  • The inherent strain method is known to be very efficient in predicting the deformation of steel plate by line heating. However, in the actual line heating process in shipyard, the rapid quenching changes the phase of steel. In this study, In order to consider additional effects under phase transformation, inherent strain regions were assumed to expand. Also, when calculating inherent strain, material properties of steel in heating and cooling are applied differently considering phase transformation. In this process, a new method which can reflect thermal volume expansion of martensite is suggested.8y the suggested method, it was possible to predict the plate deformations by line heating more precisely.

  • This paper presents a method. for estimating the useful output of solar heating sys-terns. Heating load calculations, climatic data and various conditions are used in this procedure to estimate the fraction of the monthly heating load supplied by solar energy for a particular system the design procedure presented in this paper referred to the f-chart method. The results of this study are as follows; 1) The collected energy is not rised lineary to collector area. 2) If the heating area has equivalent solar collector area, the solar energy utilization for space heating is over 90%. 3) Transmittance- absorptance product for radiation at normal incidence, (${\tau}{\alpha}$)/(${\tau}{\alpha}$)n, during most of the heating season is 0.92 for a two-cover collector. 4) Orientation of the collector has little effect on the annual performance of solar heating system within the $15^{\circ}$.

  • This is to report the result of Development of Single effect/Double lift absorption chiller & heater which is used in the district heating net work. The heating cycle was newly developed to make the secondary hot water from evaporator and the cycle change-over function was added for the heating to the cooling mode and the cooling to the heating mode. Finally, it was assured through the site trial operation that the outlet temperature of primary hot water can be produced lower than $68^{\circ}C$ when the outlet temperature of secondary hot water is $60^{\circ}C$.
