1,000 MW 석탄화력발전소 대기환경오염물질 제거효율 향상을 위한 탈황설비 성능개선 (Enhancement of Desulfurization System Efficiency in 1,000 MW Coal-Fired Power Plants)

  • 최근 미세먼지 등 대기환경 문제가 국가적 이슈로 급부상 하고있는 추세이며 특히 석탄화력발전소에 대한 강도높은 환경규제치가 적용되고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구는 석탄화력발전소 주요 대기오염 배출물질인 황산화물과 먼지 제거를 위한 탈황설비 성능개선 사례에 대해 소개하고 있으며 현재 운영중인 1,000 MW 발전소의 성능개선을 위한 네가지 Case Study를 수행하고 공사를 하였다. 탈황설비 흡수탑 개조를 통해 액기비를 증대시켰으며 산화공기 유량을 증대시켜 기액 반응을 촉진하였다. 또한 가스가스히터 누설률을 개선하여 최종 탈황설비 효율을 향상시켰다. 기존 설비와 조화를 고려한 성능개선 공사를 통해 2023년부터 적용될 규제치(황산화물 25ppm, 먼지 5mg/Sm3)를 만족할 것으로 예상되며 타 화력발전소에 검토 및 적용하는데 참고될 수 있다고 기대된다.

순수전기차 경험 고객의 우려 요인에 따른 전기차 구매 의사 영향 (The Effect of Experienced Consumers' Concerns on Willingness to Purchase Battery Electric Vehicles)

  • 국내 순수전기차 시장은 초기 시장형성 단계이므로 보급확대를 위해서는 고객의 순수전기차에 대한 인식과 구매 의사에 관한 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문은 고객세분화를 위한 이론적 프레임을 전기차 사용 경험 전후에 고객의 전기차 구매 의사를 기반으로 도출하였다. 특히 순수전기차 사용 경험이 있는 서울 및 제주지역 응답자만을 대상으로 한 설문조사를 통해 고객의 구매 의사와 우려 요인들을 실증분석하였다. 로지스틱 회귀모델의 분석 결과, 경험 고객이 차내 냉난방기기에 대한 우려가 클수록 고객의 구매 의사는 감소하고, 고객의 전기차의 일일 주행거리가 길수록 구매 의사는 증가한다. 또한 순차형 프로빗 모델의 분석 결과, 경험 고객의 전기차의 주행거리, 사고 시 A/S, 경사로 주행에 대한 우려가 클수록 고객이 냉난방기기에 대해 우려가 증가했다. 본 논문은 정책입안자 및 기업에게 전기차 관련 고객세분화, 연구개발, 마케팅 전략, 지원정책 수립과 관련하여 시사점을 제공할 수 있다.

전남지역 오리 사육시설 실태 조사 및 분석 (Investigations and Analyses of Duck Breeding Facilities in Jeollanam-do Province, Korea)

  • Number of duck and its breeding facilities have been steadily decreasing for financial and social issues in Korea. Therefore, the 'turning point' for duck industry is strongly demanded. In this study, the questionary survey was carried out to provide backgrounds for developing policy and technology for duck breeding farms. The questionary survey aimed to investigate the information of operation strategy of farm, ventilation, cooling and heating. The total number of survey respondents was 74. In case of facility type, 55.4% of respondents stated they used greenhouse type, 31.3% for winch-curtain type, and 2.7% for windowless type (mechanically ventilated facility). More than 85% of the facilities were using 'natural ventilation', it meant that these situation can restrict the not only environmental control but also the supply policy for 'smart farm' of the Government. 44.6% used the combination of the cross-ventilation method and roof-ventilation method for ventilation operation in summer season, and 31.1% followed only the cross-ventilation method. In case of winter season, 36.5% used the cross-ventilation method, and 33.3% used the combination of cross and roof-ventilation, method. For the ventilation strategy, about 86.5% depended on farmer's experience. In case of heating and cooling, 79.7% were using kerosene heater for winter season, and 43.2% were using mist-spray for summer season, respectively. More than 75% stated that cooling and heating strategies were based on farmer's experience. From the analyses of the survey results, a few proposals for developing policy and technology for duck breeding farm was suggested.

전기차용 고전압 케이블의 화재 위험성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Fire Risk of High-voltage Cables for Electrical Vehicles)

  • This study presents the characteristics of short circuits (SCs) caused by excessive currents in high-voltage cables used in electric vehicles and emphasizes the need to calculate the cross-sectional areas of these cables according to the SC current. Three direct current power supplies were connected in parallel to test the SC characteristics caused by excessive currents, and a timer and a magnetic contactor were used to deliver the conduction time and SC current. A circular infrared-radiation heater was used to test the temperature-dependent SC characteristics, a thermocouple was used to measure the temperature, and a shunt resistor was used to measure the current. As the SC current increased, the fusing time of the cable decreased. Additionally, a high-voltage cable (with an area of 16 mm2 ) used in electric vehicles fused when a current (approximately equal to 55 times the allowable current) flowed for 0.2 s (operating time of the protective device). When the SC current is 10 kA, the cable may fuse during the operating time of the protective device, thus creating a fire hazard. In electric vehicles, the size of the SC current increases in proportion to the capacity of the battery. Thus, the cross-sectional areas of the cables used should be calculated accordingly, and cable operations should be properly coordinated with the surrounding protective devices.

한방의료기관의 온열 치료 기기 활용 현황 및 개발 수요에 대한 조사 연구 (A Survey on the Utilization and Demand of Thermotherapy Devices in Korean Medical Institutions)

  • Objectives : This study investigated the current utilization status of thermotherapy devices in Korean medicine (KM) institutions and identified areas for improvement and further development, as perceived by KM doctors (KMDs). Methods : An online survey was conducted, targeting KMDs primarily engaged in clinical patient care. The questionnaire included items about respondents' clinical practices, the extent of thermotherapy device usage, their opinions on these devices, and perceived improvement needs. The collected data underwent quantitative analysis. Results : From the 1,025 respondents, data from 862 respondents who provided complete responses were analyzed. On average, respondents utilized thermotherapy treatments for 80% of their patients. Infrared (IR) phototherapy unit, electrical moxibustion apparatus, and heater-based thermotherapy devices were predominantly owned by respondents, with IR being the most frequently used. The average satisfaction score for current thermotherapy devices was 79. A significant concern raised was the necessity for improved health insurance coverage and efficacy evaluation. Conclusions : This research has confirmed that the extensive use of thermotherapy devices by KMDs in treating primarily musculoskeletal and gastrointestinal ailments - common conditions among patients in KM institutions. The main areas identified for improvement encompass safety, cost-effectiveness, and device efficacy. Future enhancements in thermotherapy devices should address these crucial aspects.

국부 근접 난방 모듈을 이용한 전기차 탑승자의 열쾌적성에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental study on Thermal Comfort of Electric Vehicle Occupants Using Local Proximity Heating Module)

  • In order to meet the technological demand for indoor heating systems that ensure winter thermal comfort during the transition from internal combustion engines to electrification, a localized proximity heating module using surface heating elements was developed. The operational performance of heating module was tested in the low temperature chamber. The experiment conditions were varied by changing the chamber temperature (-10, 0℃), the air flow rate (6.2, 6.0, 4.2m3/h), the heater power (100, 80, 60, 40W). Thermal comfort model was confirmed using the CBE Thermal Comfort Tool applying ASHRAE standard 55. Under -10℃ condition, thermal comfort was satisfied at 23.4, 23.2℃ at power of 100W and air flow rate 6.0, 4.6m3/h. Under 0℃ condition, at power of 80W, air flow rate 6.2, 6.0m3/h, and at power of 60W, air flow rate 4.6m3/h showed results of 25.7, 26.1, 23.0℃, respectively, satisfying thermal comfort. This study analyzed the operating performance of the local proximity heating module in the low temperature chamber and applied thermal comfort model to prove applicability of local proximity heating module using surface heating elements and how to utilize the thermal comfort model.

전기자동차의 난방용 면상 후막히터의 제조방법과 성능에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Manufacturing Method and Performance of Planar Thick Film Heaters for Electric Vehicle Heating)

  • Currently used heating elements are metal and non-metal heating elements, including various types of heaters, and resistance line heating elements have a problem of decreasing thermal efficiency over time, so to solve this problem, a planar heating element using high-purity carbon materials and oxidation-resistant inorganic compounds was applied. Through the manufacture of planar heating elements using CNT, ruthenium composite materials, and ruthenium oxide, physicochemical performance and capacity were increased, and instantaneous responsiveness was increased. Through thick film technology applicable to various base bodies, fine patterns were formed by the screening method in consideration of the fact that the performance of the heat source depends on the viscosity and pattern shape. The heating element was manufactured by thick film printing technology by mixing ruthenium oxide, CNT, Ag, etc. The characteristics of each paste were analyzed through viscosity measurement, and STS 430 was used as a base. Surface temperature and efficiency were measured by testing heaters manufactured for small wind tunnels and real-vehicle experiments. The surface temperature decreased as the air volume increased, and the optimal system boundary was found to be about 200 mm. Among the currently used heating elements, this paper manufactured a planar heating element using thick film technology to find out the relationship between air volume and temperature, and to study the surface temperature.

납의 흡입독성 연구를 위한 에어로졸 발생장치의 고안 및 실시간 모니터링을 이용한 성능평가 (Design of Aerosol Generator for Inhalation Toxicology Study of Lead and Evaluation with Real Time Monitoring)

  • This paper was the design of aerosol generator for inhalation toxicology study of lead and evaluation with real time monitoring, and applied several engineering methodology to classical aerosol generator to cope with it's disadvantages. According to the testing conditions, source temperature 50℃ and inlet-duct band heater temperature 150℃, aerosol generation results for sodium chloride and lead acetate were as followings: CPM(Count Per Minute) for Sodium chloride that used for the testing material in aerosol generation and inhalation system was decreased in the 2nd and the 3rd hour's serial trials, but CVs(coefficient of variation) were maintained within 10%. CPMs for 5 and 2.5 gram of lead acetate that used for aerosol generation and inhalation exposure of lead showed similar results because of the sedimentation of lead acetate on piezoelectric crystal with time. For that reason, heating and mixing of nebulizing solution will be needed to generate lead aerosol with stable profile and maximum generation efficiency. Fluctuations of 10 and 5 gram lead acetate were low but 2.5gram was high. However, CVs for 10, 5, and 2.5gram lead acetate were within 10%. Considering the theoretical efficiencies for sodium chloride and lead acetate, 5gram sodium chloride and 2.5gram lead acetate were appropriate choice. Aerosol generation characteristics for two materials with 1 hour interval were different with respect to the fluctuation of CPM and the decrease to 10gram in it's material. For that reason, sodium chloride can not be used to estimate the aerosol generation and it's related parts for lead acetate. According to the testing conditions, source temperature 20, 50, 70℃, and inlet-duct band heater temperature 20, 50, 100, 150, 200℃, aerosol generation results for sodium chloride and lead acetate were as followings: Excluding inlet-duct band temperature 200℃, maximum CPM for sodium chloride was manifested in source temperature 70℃ with each inlet-duct band temperature conditions. We suggest that this condition was the optimum in the design of aerosol generator, inhalation system, and the testing. Maximum CPMs for 10, 5, and 2.5gram sodium chloride were from source temperature 70℃ and inlet-duct band temperature 20℃. Excluding inlet-duct band temperature 50, 200℃, maximum CPMs for lead acetate were indicated in source temperature 50℃ with each inlet-duct band temperature conditions. We suggest that this condition was the optimum in the design of aerosol generator, inhalation system, and the testing for lead inhalation study. Source and inlet-duct band temperatures for 10, 5, 2.5gram lead acetate were 50 and 100℃, 50 and 100℃, 50 and 150℃, respectively. In conclusion, considering above 2 paragraphs of results for aerosol generation, 5gram efficiencies for sodium chloride, lead acetate were higher than 2.5gram's. If inlet-duct band temperature was same, aerosol generation was increased with increase of source temperature. To get maximum aerosol generation will be the conditions that set the appropriate inlet-duel band temperature for each materials and increase the source temperature.

큰느타리버섯 재배사의 실태분석 - 서부경남지역을 중심으로 - (Analysis of Actual State of Facilities for Pleurotus eryngii Cultivation - Based on Western Gyeongnam Area -)

  • 본 조사는 최근 급격히 증가하고 있는 새송이버섯 재배농가의 안정적 영농을 위해 재배사 설계, 시공 및 환경조절과 관련한 기초 자료를 마련하기 위해 서부 경남지역을 대상으로 새송이버섯 재배사의 재배사 규모, 환경조절시스템 등의 실태조사 및 검토를 하였다. 재배사의 형태는 반영구재배사와 영구재배사로 대별 할수 있었고, 반영구재배사는 대부분 단동이었고, 영구재배사의 경우는 단동에 비해 상대적으로 연동이 많았다. 그리고 재배사의 규모는 형태에 관계없이 다양하였지만, 길이, 폭 및 동고는 각각 20m, $6.6\~7.0m$$4.6\~5.0m$정도의 농가가 가장 많았으며, 동당 바닥면적은 $132\~140m^2$(40-42평)정도의 범위로서 대부분 콘크리트로 처리하여 각종 균에 의한 버섯의 오염을 방지 할 수 있도록 되어 있었다. 반영구 및 영구재배사의 지붕경사각은 각각 $41.5^{\circ}$$18.6\~28.6^{\circ}$로 나타나 반영구재배사의 지붕경사도가 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 재배상의 폭 및 단수는 재배사의 형태에 관계없이 각각 $1.2\~1.6m$정도와 4단이 주류를 이루고 있었다. 버섯을 연중재배 하는 재배사에는 모두 냉${\cdot}$난방시설, 가습장치 및 환기팬이 설치되어 있었다. 난방방식의 경우, 온수보일러, 전기히터, 증기보일러 순으로 나타났다. 냉방장치의 경우는 모두 산업용 에어컨을 설치하여 운용하고 있었다. 그리고 가습은 초음파가습기와 원심분리가습기를 사용하고 있었으며, 보조 장치로 분무노즐을 사용하는 농가도 일부 있었다. 또한 온${\cdot}$습도 조절 및 탄산가스 조절을 위한 장치의 제어는 동별 제어시스템을 많이 채택하고 있었다. 그리고 온도센서 이외는 모두 타이머를 이용하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 배지병의 크기는 850 cc 및 1,100 cc를 사용하는 농가가 주류를 이루고 있었고, 이 밖에도 800cc와 950 cc, 1,200 cc병을 사용하는 농가도 있었다. 출하형태는 대부분 유통회사와 공판장을 동시에 이용하고 있었다.

온실설비 작동용 태양광발전시스템의 발전 성능 분석 (Power Generating Performance of Photovoltaic Power System for Greenhouse Equipment Operation)

  • 본 연구는 온실 운영에 필요한 전력량을 확보함으로서 온실경영비 절감을 목적으로 우선 태양광발전시스템을 온실의 인접한 건물의 옥상에 설치하여 기상상태에 따른 발전량을 실험적으로 검토하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 실험기간 동안 최고, 평균 및 최저온도는 각각 $0.4{\sim}34.1,\;-6.1{\sim}22.2$$-14.1{\sim}16.7^{\circ}C$ 정도의 범위에 있었다. 그리고 일사량의 경우, 최대, 평균 및 최저값은 각각 $28.8MJ{\cdot}m^{-2}$, $14.9MJ{\cdot}m^{-2}$$0.6MJ{\cdot}m^{-2}$ 정도였고, 전력은 일사량에 비례해서 증가하지 않고 약 750W 전후에서 거의 일정한 것을 알 수 있었다. 일일 최대, 평균 및 최소 소비전력량은 각각 약 5.2kWh, 2.5kWh및 0kWh정도였다. 본 실험에 사용된 시스템의 평균 소비전력량을 기준으로 보면, 온풍기의 용량 및 작동시간이 작은 경우는 충분하지만 큰 경우는 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 온풍기의 용량이 큰 경우, 어레이 면적이 현재의 약 3배인 약 $21m^2$ 정도이면 평균 전력량으로 충분할 것으로 판단되었다. 물론 어레이의 온도가 높아지는 한 여름철에는 일사량에 비례해서 발생 전력이 증가하지 않은 것으로 나타났지만, 현재까지 실험결과로 보면, 두 인자간에 상관계수가 0.84 정도로 상관관계가 높은 것으로 나타났다.
