Oculomotor palsy presents itself with sudden onset unilateral ptosis and inability to turn the eye upward, downward, or inward, which causes visual disturbances. We observed 5 cases of patient with oculomotor palsy, the results are as follows. Methods & Results : All patients were treated by the same method and treatment was performed by means of electroacupuncture(4Hz frequency, intensity was adjusted so that localized muscle contractions could be seen). The electrodes were placed unilaterally on BL2 to Kwangmyong(head) and GB14 to Ex-HN4. As the result, symptoms are improved remarkably. Conclusion : Patients were treated for 9.6weeks, 26.4 times(average). Improvement started after 6.6 times treatment, and symptoms were nearly cleared after 12.4 times, 4.6 weeks treatment.
Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the effects of multimodal sensory stimulation on growth and mother-infant interaction in infants with low birth weight (LBW). Method: A non-equivalent control group time-series study design was used. The participants were 38 LBW infants and their mothers (19 in the intervention group and 19 in the control group). The data were collected from September 1, 2003 to March 31, 2004. For the mothers in the intervention group, this researcher instructed mothers in the multimodal sensory stimulation therapy, in turn the mothers used these techniques on their infants once a day during the 4-week research period. The researcher measured weight, length, and head circumference of the LBW infants once a week for 4 weeks and made a film of the mother playing with the infant for 5 minutes in the last week of the research period. Results: Compared to the control group, LBW infants in the intervention group showed significant increases in weekly weight gain (F=3.82, p=.012) and had significantly higher scores for mother-infant interaction (t=3.93, p>.000). Conclusion: The results suggest that multimodal sensory stimulation therapy can be used to increase the growth of LBW infants and improve mother-infant interaction.

9Pbw2 is a 9-mer analog of protaetiamycine derived from the larvae of the beetle Protaetia brevitarsis. Previously, we designed four 9-mer peptide analogues to optimize the balance between the hydrophobicity and cationicity of the peptides and to increase bacterial cell selectivity. Among them, 9Pbw2 has high antibacterial activity without cytotoxicity. The results obtained in previous study suggest that the bactericidal action of 9Pbw2 may be attributed to the inhibition of the functions of intracellular components after penetration of the bacterial cell membrane. In order to understand structure-activity relationships, we determined the three-dimensional structure of 9Pbw2 in 200 mM DPC micelle by NMR spectroscopy. 9Pbw2 has one hydrophobic turn helix from $Trp^3$ to $Arg^8$ and positively charged residues at the N- and C-terminus. This result suggested that positively charged residues from position at the C-terminus in 9Pbw2 may be important for the primary binding to the negatively charged phospholipid head groups in bacterial cell membranes and hydrophobic residues in the middle portion face toward the acyl chains of the hydrophobic lipid in the bacterial cell membrane.
Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate that causes of motion sickness in oriental medicine. Methods The internal and external studies about motion sickness were searched Results and Conclusions The motion sickness is induced by conflict of balance system including vestibular, visual and proprioceptive system. The motion sickness is more common in female and in children between 2 and 12 years old. In western medicine, antihistamine and anticholinergic has been used for treatment of motion sickness, but these anti-motion sickness drug turn out to be not a perfect solution and have several side effects. On the other hands, In oriental medical terminology, there is no words equivalent to the "motion sickness", but we consider the motion sickness as state with dizziness, nausea and vomiting. The motion sickness can be induced by either internal or external causes and the internal causes can thought to be a constitutional factor of an individuals, and the general transportation can be an external cause. The important internal cause is a dysfunction of the spleen, stomch(脾胃不調), retention of phlegm and fluids(痰飮), and deficiency of the kidney jing(腎精不足). The wind(風) and fire(火) in the upper part of the body, especially in the head, also can be an important cause of the motion sickness.
The Purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between leadership style of nurse managers and related variables and to provide the basic data for developing strategies of transformational, transactional leadership study. The subjects were 300 nurses and 10 head nurses were working at the 2 general hospitals in seoul. The data were collected from July 6 to July 14, 2001 by the structured questionnaires. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression with SAS package were used. The results of this study were as follows : 1. The score of the nurse managers' transformational leadership perceived by surbodinates' were higher than that of the nurse managers' transactional leadership. Among 5 subdimensions of the leadership styles perceived by surbodinates', the scores of 'charisma' and 'intellectual stimulation' were highest and 'management by exception' were lowest. 2. 'charisma' 'intellectual stimulation', 'individual consideration' and 'contingent reward' were positively related to all of variables except 'turnover intention'. 'Management by exception' was negatively related to all of variables and was positively related to 'turnover intention'. 3. As a result of regression analysis, leadership styles effect on 'leadership effectiveness', 'turnover intention', 'job satisfaction', 'empowerment', 'organizational commitment', 'autonomy', 'job involvement' in turn. The determinants of 'job satisfaction', 'autonomy', 'leadership effectiveness' were 'charisma' of transformational leadership and the determinants of 'organizational commitment', 'job involvement', 'empowerment' were 'intellectual stimulation' of transformational leadership.
Bacillus subtilis var. 816 was used for manufacturing fermented soybean which in turn is used as flavoring agent. Fermentation of soyebean or flat wheat was occasionally failed. It was elucidated that failure was due to the presence of bacteriophage. According to Hemphill and Whitely (1975), this bacteriphage might be belonged to the viulent phage group I as it is similar to SP82G, ${\phi}25$. In fact, the phenomena of the increase of moisture, disappenarance of mucin and existence of undersirable bacteria was attributed to the contamination of the above phage during the course of fermentation of soybean or flat wheat. Particularly disapparance of mucin was sufficiently correlated by the replication of the bacteriophage. The above phage can grow in the range of $30^{\circ}C\;to\;70^{\circ}C$. The optimum temperature was $40^{\circ}C{\sim}50^{\circ}C$. The optimum pH range was between pH 7.4 and pH 8.0. It is noticeable that staphylococci was replicating simultaneously with the phage. The head of 816 phage is hexagonal with a diameter of $10{\times}165{\sim}10{\times}240\;nm$. The end of the tail is enlaged. It has a size of 25 nm and this end areas are spreaded widely as fingers.
PURPOSES : Recently, there are increasing bicycle accidents along with increasing bicycles users. Bicycle accidents occurred frequently by perpendicular collision form at intersection inner. In order to improve safety of bicycle, drivers need to be aware of bicycles on the road and intersection geometric designs need to be designed to reduce risk associated with collisions between bicycles and car. This study aims to review the location of bicycle crossing in the viewpoint of bicycle safety. METHODS : Four types of bicycle crossing by curve radius and driver's check around the behavior are set to simulate the risk of collisions between bicycles and car turning right. Simulation using fortran programming are conducted on total 60 cases. RESULTS : Bicycle crossing located behind of crosswalk is lower the risk of collisions with car in all cases. In addition to the larger curve radius of pavement edge at intersection and the more pay attention to the rear by the turn head to the right is too low the risk of collisions with car. CONCLUSIONS : It is show that the location of bicycle crossing is safer behind than in front of crosswalk in the viewpoint of bicycle safety.
Purpose: An omnichannel strategy creates a consistent brand image and customer experience across all channels, making it easier for customers to interact with a business and share information. This research aimed to investigated the relationship between consumers' information-sharing intention and their omnichannel experiences. Research design, data, and methodology: Through an online survey conducted in Vietnam, the study obtained 915 responses. The study used Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to analyze research data and confirm proposed research hypotheses. Results: Research results indicated that information-sharing intention is affected by both online and offline customer experience, and at the same time, the study also confirmed that omnichannel's three characteristics (integration, individualization, interaction) positively impact on customer experience. Conclusions: From the research result, businesses may boost consumer trust and loyalty with the help of an omnichannel approach, which in turn increases customers' propensity to provide personally identifying information to the firm. One way to do this is to facilitate information exchange by delivering customized and relevant offers. Furthermore, companies show consumers the benefit of providing their data by utilizing it to enhance the customer experience.

Augmented reality (AR) technology assists construction workers by superimposing additional virtual information onto their real worksite environments. Ideally, this provides them with a better understanding of their tasks and hence boosts task performance. However, the additional information that AR places in users' field of view could limit their ability to understand what is going on in their surroundings and to predict how conditions may change in the near future. AR-assisted systems on construction sites could therefore expose their users to safety risks due to disturbance from the system. Hence, it is important to understand how AR-assisted systems can block users' understanding of their immediate environments, and in turn, how worksite safety in the construction industry could be improved through better design of such systems. This preliminary research conducted a laboratory experiment that simulated rebar inspection tasks and compared the situational awareness of AR users against that of subjects using traditional paper-based inspection methods, as measured by the Situation Awareness Rating Technique. Based on the results, we discuss the safety impact of head-mounted AR-assisted displays on situational awareness during construction tasks.
