  • In this paper, we will show that the bounds for coefficients of harmonic, orientation-preserving, univalent mappings f defined on ${\Delta}$ = {z : |z| > 1} with $f({\Delta})={\Delta}$ are sharp by finding extremal functions.

  • Our aim in this paper is to derive several new monotonicity properties and functional inequalities of some functions involving the q-gamma, q-digamma and q-polygamma functions. More precisely, some classes of functions involving the q-gamma function are proved to be logarithmically completely monotonic and a class of functions involving the q-digamma function is showed to be completely monotonic. As applications of these, we offer upper and lower bounds for this special functions and new sharp upper and lower bounds for the q-analogue harmonic number harmonic are derived. Moreover, a number of two-sided exponential bounding inequalities are given for the q-digamma function and two-sided exponential bounding inequalities are then obtained for the q-tetragamma function.

  • In this paper we consider the meromorphic function G(z) with a pole of order 1 at -a and analytic function F(z) with a zero -a of order 2 in $\mathbb{D}=\{z :{\mid}z{\mid}<1\}$, where -1 < a < 1. From these functions we obtain the regular simply-connected minimal surface $S=\{(u(z),\;{\nu}(z),\;H(z)):z{\in}\mathbb{D}\}$ in $E^3$ and the harmonic function $f=u+i{\nu}$ defined on $\mathbb{D}$, and then we investigate properties of the minimal surface S and the harmonic function f.

  • We prove that if a graph G of bounded degree has finitely many p-hyperbolic ends($1) in which every bounded energy finite p-harmonic function is asymptotically constant for almost every path, then the set $\mathcal{HBD}_p(G)$ of all bounded energy finite p-harmonic functions on G is in one to one corresponding to $\mathbf{R}^l$, where $l$ is the number of p-hyperbolic ends of G. Furthermore, we prove that if a graph G' is roughly isometric to G, then $\mathcal{HBD}_p(G')$ is also in an one to one correspondence with $\mathbf{R}^l$.

  • The purpose of this article is to find a relation between the finite difference method and the boundary element method, and propose a new approach deriving a discrete approximation formula as like that of the finite difference method for harmonic functions. We develop a discrete approximation formula on a uniform grid based on the boundary integral formulations. We consider three different boundary integral formulations and derive one discrete approximation formula on the uniform grid for the harmonic function. We show that the proposed discrete approximation formula has the same computational molecules with that of the finite difference formula for the Laplace operator ${\nabla}^2$.

  • Motivated essentially by their potential for applications in a wide range of mathematical and physical problems, the log-sine and log-cosine integrals have been evaluated, in the existing literature on the subject, in many different ways. The main object of this paper is to present explicit evaluations of some families of log-sine and log-cosine integrals by making use of the familiar Beta function.

  • The Berezin transform is the analogue of the Poisson transform in the Bergman spaces. Dyakonov characterize the holomorphic weighted Lipschitz function in the unit disk in terms of the Possion integral. In this paper, we characterize the harmonic weighted Lispchitz function in terms of the Berezin transform instead of the Poisson integral.

  • The purpose of the present paper is to establish some interesting results involving coefficient conditions, extreme points, distortion bounds and covering theorems for the classes $V_H({\beta})$ and $U_H({\beta})$. Further, various inclusion relations are also obtained for these classes. We also discuss a class preserving integral operator and show that these classes are closed under convolution and convex combinations.
