A Modeling Approach to Integrate Business Processes and Data Requirements (업무 프로세스와 데이터 요구사항의 통합 모델링)

  • Business processes are often of long duration, and include internal worker's decision making, which makes business processes to be exposed to many exceptional situations. These properties of business processes makes it difficult to design processes to support uncertainties from internal or external environments. The behavioral properties of business processes mainly depends on the data aspects of business processes. To formalize the data aspect of process modeling, this paper proposes a graph-based model, called Data Dependency Graph (DDG), constructed from dependency relationships specified between business data. The paper also defines a mechanism of describing a set of mapping rules that generates a process model semantically equivalent to a DDG, which is accomplished by allocating data dependencies to component activities.

  • 이 논문은 설계상의 안전 및 완전한 정량적 위험성 평가에 의해 맞추는 것이 가능한 여러가지 방법(QRA: Quantitative risk analysis)에 촛점을 두면서, 위험성 평가의 방법론의 간략한 개요를 소개하고 있다. QRA의 결과는 단독 위험 및 그룹 혹은 사회적 위험으로써 보통 소개된다. 계산된 단독 risk는 자주 단독 위험 graph(IRG : Individual risk graph)와 단독 위험등고선(IRC : Individual risk contours)의 형으로 나타낸다. IRG와 IRC는 예를 들면 다음과 같은 사고의 시나리오로 계산된다. : 여러가지 기상조건 하에서 2kg/s의 암모니아의 유출을 1800s로 한다. 이 예는 그래프가 곡선의 상승을 나타내는 것이 확실하다. 마지막으로, QRA는 예를 들어서 토지이용계획 등에 유용한 수단으로 될 수 있다고 할 수 있다. 한편 화학플랜트의 안전에 대해서는, 위험성 평가를 위해 다른 방법이 유효하며, 불가피하다.

  • This paper presents the Allocation Priority Scheme (APS) for multiprocessor system. The objective of APS is to reduce the time-complexity on a Physical Mapping Scheme(PMS). The PMS is to allocate the nodes of the Data Dependency Graph (DDG) to the multprocessors efficiently and effectively. The APS provides the priority to each node (vertex) in the DDG. In other words, the goal of the APS is to find a request resource mapping such that the total cost (time-complexity) is minimized. The special case in which all requests have equal priorities and all resoruces have equal precedences, and the comparisons between our APS and other schems are discussed in the paper. The APS provides the heuristic rules which are based on maximum height (MH), number of children nodes ($N_c$), number of father nodes ($N_f$), and computation time ($T_c$). The estimation moth of the computaion time is in the paper.

  • Extensible 3D (X3D) is the ISO standard for defining 3D interactive web- and broadcast-based 3D content integrated with multimedia. With the advent of this integration of interactive 3D graphics into the web, users can easily produce 3D scenes within web contents. Even though there are diverse texture nodes in X3D, projective textures are not provided. We enable X3D to provide SingularProjectiveTexture and MultiProjectiveTexture nodes by materializing independent nodes of projector nodes for a singular projector and multi-projector. Our approach takes the creation of an independent projective texture node instead of Kamburelis's method, which requires inconvenient and duplicated specifications of two nodes, ImageTexture and Texture Coordinate.

  • In this paper, we propose a new CPLD technology mapping algorithm improving run-time under time constraint. In our technology mapping algorithm, a given logic equation is constructed as the DAG type, then the DAG is reconstructed by replicating the node that outdegree is more than or equal to 2. As a result. it makes delay time and the number of CLBs, run-time to be minimized. Also, after the number of multi-level is defined and cost of each nodes is calculated, the graph is partitioned in order to fit to k that is the number of OR term within CLB. The partitioned nodes are merged through collapsing and bin packing is performed in order to fit to the number of OR term within CLB.

  • This paper presents an effective heuristic task scheduling algorithm for multiprocessor systems. To execute task scheduling effectively which is defined as an allocation of m's tasks onto n's processors(m > n), several problems almost at NP-hard should be cleaned up. The purpose of the task scheduling obtains the minimum execution time by mapping the tasks on a system topology or reduces the total execution time to give a minimum system topology. In order to solve this problem, in this paper, the task scheduling is done by redefining a task graph to a reconstructed task graph (RTG). An RTG is obtained by merging or copying nodes to equal the number of nodes on each level of the task graph to the number of processors of the system topology and then directly scheduled to the system topology. This method obtains a fast scheduling time and a simple scheduling method, and near-optimal execution time without executing steps such as the refinement step and the duplication step after the task scheduling.

  • Hypercube and star graph are widely known as interconnection network. The embedding of an interconnection network is a mapping of a network G into other network H. The possibility of embedding interconnection network G into H with a low cost, has an advantage of efficient algorithms usage in network H, which was developed in network G. In this paper, we provide an embedding algorithm between HCN and HON. HCN(n,n) can be embedded into HON($C_{n+1},C_{n+1}$) with dilation 3 and HON($C_d,C_d$) can be embedded into HCN(2d-1,2d-1) with dilation O(d). Also, star graph can be embedded to half pancake's value of dilation 11, expansion 1, and average dilation 8. Thus, the result means that various algorithms designed for HCN and Star graph can be efficiently executed on HON and half pancake, respectively.

  • In this paper, we consider a graph-theoretic problem,, the so-called "graph embedding problem" that maps the vertices and edges of the given guest graph model into the corresponding vertices and paths of the host graph under the condition of maintaining better performance parameters such as dilation, congestion, and expansion. We firstly propose a new mapping function which can embed the pyramid model with height N into the 3-dimensional mesh massively parallel processor system with the height $(4^{(N+1)/3}+2)/3$ and the regular 2-dimensional mesh of one side $2^{(2N-1)/3}$, and analyze the performance of the embedding in terms of the dilation parameter that reflects the number of communication steps between two adjacent vertices under the embedding. We prove that the dilation of the embedding is $2{\cdot}4^{(N-2)/3}+4)/3$. This is superior to the previous result of $4^{N+183}+2)/3$ under the same condition.condition.

Graph-based Wi-Fi Radio Map Construction and Update Method (그래프 기반 Wi-Fi 신호 지도 구축 및 갱신 기법)

  • Among Wi-Fi based indoor positioning systems, fingerprinting localization is the most common technique with high precision. However, construction of the initial radio map and the update process require considerable labor and time effort. To address this problem, we propose an efficient method that constructs the initial radio map at each vertex based on a graph. In addition, we introduce a method to update the radio map automatically by mapping signal data acquired from users to the reference point created on each edge. Since the proposed method collects signal data manually only at the vertex of the graph to build the initial radio map and updates it automatically, our proposed method can dramatically reduce labor and time effort, which are the disadvantages of the conventional fingerprinting method. In our experimental study, we show validity of our radio map update method by comparing with the actual reference point data. We also show that our proposed method is able to construct the radio map with an accuracy of about 3.5m by automatically updating the radio map.
