This article investigates the concept of the xing(性) used by Hu Hong. Hu Hong's philosophical system considered to top priority for xing is called xingbunlun(性本論), and he suggested the characteristics of xing as follows. First, Hu Hong regarded xing as the fundamental of whole world and related to the specific individual things, so he constructed the concept of xing in the perspective of ontology. Namely while xing is ti(體) the root of all the world, it is the realization of the uniqueness of the individual things. Also he considered xing which of the ontological aspect developed various psychological aspect contained xin (心), qing(情), yu(欲), etc. Seond, As Hu Hong regulated that wei fa(未發) is xing and yi fa(已發) is xin, he defined the ideal relation between xing and xin as xingtixinyong(性體心用). And he considered that the sage and the ordinary peoples are equal in the xing's aspect of wei fa, but they are not equal in ability of the xin in the aspect of wei fa. Hu Hong thought that the only sage realized the ideal relation between xing and xin in this world, because he keep his mind silent. So Hu Hong suggested the possibility of moral cultivation to the ordinary peoples, expressing that human nature realized the function of the mind(成性), in order that they realized ideal relation by following ren(仁). Third, unlike the traditional notion, Hu Hong understood the meaning of xing in the aspect of ontology. He interpreted the shan(善) of xingshan(性善) as the meaning of exclamation, which implied that "the innate goodness of human nature(性善)" meant "Human nature is good." Because Hu Hong thought that the meaning of xing transcended the relative concept of good and evil, and accepted the whole world affirmatively. In the opinion of Hu Hong, as the concept of xing had two ways of intentionality; likes and dislikes(好惡), things formed relationship with other in this world. Then the concept of good and evil of the ethical value judgement occurred.

An investigation was conducted to study the statistical nature of tensile strength and static fracture toughness of carbon fiber reinforced plastics(CFRP) materials. A good understanding of statistical aspects of strength data is essential for the successful application of such materials because these composites unpossess material uniformity as compared with conventional metallic materials. In this paper, a statistical approach based on Weibull distribution was applied to the test data to evaluate the dispersion in the tensile strength and static fracture toughness by the change of stacking method and test temparature of the CFRP materials.

The solution of hyperbolic equation with wave nature has sharp discontinuties in the medium at the wave front. Difficulties encounted in the numrtical solution of such problem in clude among oth-ers numerical oscillation and the representation of sharp discontinuities with good resolution at the wave front. In this work inviscid Burgers equation and modified heat conduction equation is intro-duced as hyperboic equation. These equations are caculated by numerical methods(explicit method MacCormack method Total Variation Diminishing(TVD) method) along various Courant numbers and numerical solutions are compared with the exact analytic solution. For inviscid Burgers equa-tion TVD method remains stable and produces high resolution at sharp wave front but for modified heat Conduction equation MacCormack method is recommmanded as numerical technique.

^x Good Planning, design, and maintenance will be the product of a Process which considers both the nature of man and the nature of nature. Recentry, we emphasize how social and psycological theory, behavioral studios, and community participation may contribute to practical decision making and to the development of appropriate form for human use at all scales of Landscape Architecture. The main purpose of this study was to develop more rational and user oriented theory of urban park planning, design, and maintenance in terms of social - behavioral approach. Study sites were Jungang, Dalsung, Duryu, and Apsan park, where were located Daegu city. In this study, user satisfaction determinants of each park, which were useful for park planning, design and maintenance, were discovered. Privacy and territoriality were examined as an important factors for design a park road examined as an important factors to design a Path and a comfortable space in urban park.

Identifying prestigious interdisciplinary journals is very significant for researchers. By publishing research works in prestigious journals, researchers can better propagate their works and get spotlights. Even though the quality of a papers is not represented by the journal that published the paper, it is a general concern of researchers that how to identify a set of good journals to submit their papers. Nature and Science are the two journals that have been considering as the two top interdisciplinary journals worldwide. In this paper, we propose a method for identifying journals that have the potential to become the next Nature and Science through topological analysis of interdisciplinary scientific journals.

In this paper, we propose a low bit-rate embedded video coding scheme with 3-D block partition in the wavelet domain. The proposed video coding scheme includes multi-level three dimensional dyadic wavelet decomposition, raster scanning within each subband, partitioning of blocks, and adaptive arithmetic entropy coding. Although the proposed video coding scheme is quite simple, it produces bit-streams with good features, including SNR scalability from the embedded nature. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed video coding scheme is quite competitive to other good wavelet-based video coders in the literature.

DCT or Wavelet based on Image compression technique occurred to compression artifact. In order to remove this problem, we can apply many improvement algorithms. But in these cases, these algolithms resulted in bad results against the good quality image. Therefore this paper proposes an automatic image interpretation technique not to apply to the good quality images. In this paper, we exploit the basic nature of DCT.

This paper is concerned with the application of generalized linear interactive modelling(GLIM) to the binary categorical data. To analyze the categorical data given by a contingency table, finding a good-fitting loglinear model is commonly adopted. In the case of a contingency table with a response variable, we can fit a logit model to find a good-fitting loglinear model. For a given $2^4$ contingency table with a binary response variable, we show the process of fitting a loglinear model by fitting a logit model using GLIM and SAS and then we estimate parameters to interpret the nature of associations implied by the model.

Both in the East and the West, the most classical question in classical political philosophy was 'what is truly a human virtue and a good life?' 'Human virtue' and 'Good life', and 'good State' are thus essentially tied together. Platon And Confucianism. We began with Platon and Confucianism's definitions of human virtue & good life, and 'good State'. This Essay attempts to systematically approach to what Confucianism thinks as a human virtue and a good life in contrast with Platon. Confucius asserted that the most humane human life is a civilized life and it means to realize the value of 'benevolence as a human virtue. 'Mencius also concurred that Confucius's explication of the good life was right. Moreover, he argued that to realize this, political practice should follow. Mencius discussed about 'Four Virtues', the essential goodness of human, confirmed by 'Four Clues (四端)' to talk about the possibility of realizing the good life and a good state. On the other hand, he devised Politics of benevolence.)' as a practical tool for it. An classica eastern philosophy(platon and confucianism) consider a human beings as human relationship. Confucianism believe in reality of the human mind & it's nature. Confucian human mind & it's nature is comprised of benevolence, righteousness, propriety and wisdom. Confucianism proposed that we have to approach to other man as benevolence.

Jungchull(정철) was a very famous poet of Kasa(가사), Sijo(시조) and Hansi(한시) during the middle period of the Chosun kingdom. He has been studied by modern scholars mainly as a poet of Kasa(가사). These days, however, his Sijos are being studied as an important literary achievement. The purpose of this study is to analyze the pursuit of reality and elegance expressed in Jungchull's Sijo in order to understand his Sijos more deeply. In the process of this discussion, I will take a look at some of his Kasa(가사), Hansi(한시) and biography also, and I will compare his Sijo(시조) with that of his teacher's, friend's and senior's. Jungchull considered it important to become an official in the royal court because he was a Confucian scholar who believed in jugi-theory (주기론), in which all realistic phenomena is evaluated(Confucianism is very realistic in essence), and he had a happy life in the royal household until he was ten years old. I found that characteristics of his "realistic pursuit" are represented in his Sijo by two situations: the one is when he is apart from the King, and the other when he is together with the King. In all situations, though, he pursued an official position in the royal court. When he was apart from the king, his absolute resolution to follow the King was expressed in his not being able to sleep. In his sijo, he asks the wild duck to inform him of the King's welfare. He tries to flap his wings, to be the water or the moon in order to reach the royal household where the King was living. When he recognizes it's impossible, he expresses his perfect loyalty to the King in his Sijo by using literary paradox. According to this, he describes himself as not an able scholar, but also not a flattering scholar. In his sijo, he reminisces about working for the King in the royal household, when he had a good relationship with the King. But when he was an official in the province in a good relationship with the King, he expressed his intention of coming back to the royal household in order to be with the King again. From this we can ascertain that his pursuit of reality means to occupy an official position in the royal household, to serve the King and to have political power among of the officials. His elegance, expressed in his sijo, is deeply related to his absolute political pursuit of the King. He describes two kinds of elegance: nature related elegance and drinking alcohol related elegance. Two kinds of nature related elegance were delineated in his sijo, depending upon his political situation. When he had a good relationship with the King, occupying an official position, he delineated his gladness and free-heart in harmonizing with nature. But when he lost his official position. he expressed his purity using nature, and exclusion from nature. These kinds of nature related elegance were different from that of the usual Confucian scholar, for example, contemporaries Lee Hwang Next, two kinds of drinking alcohol related elegance were delineated in his sijo depending upon his political situation. More often he depicted excitement and composure of mind in his sijo by drinking alcohol in good situations than in efforts to overcome his agony in bad situations. The tradition of overcoming one's agony by drinking alcohol in bad situation was discovered by this writer in Jungchull's teacher's, and also his junior's sijo. Lastly in my next research paper future, I will look at the reason why certain various themes are represented in Jungchull's sijo, and what their the relationships are, to understand his literary works as a whole.
