The origin of magnetic fields in the universe remains an outstanding problem in cosmology. We propose that these fields are produced by shocks during the large-scale structure formation. We discuss the mechanism of the field generation via the counter-streaming (Weibel) instability. We also show that these Weibel-generated fields are long-lived and weakly coupled to dissipation. Subsequent field amplification by the intra-cluster turbulence may also take place, thus maintaining the magnetic energy density close to equipartition.

To elucidate the preventive effect of oriental medicine Gami-Ondamtang(GO) on stress, we investigated the physiological change of rats which were applied immobilization stress. For immobilization stress, rats were placed in restrainer for 12 hours a day for 3 days. During application of stress, body weight of rats was measured. After sacrifice, 8 organs were taken for measurement of organ weight. Brain was sectioned into 4 parts that are Frontal Cortex, Corpus Striatum, Hypothalamus and Hippocampus. Each part was homogenated and its catecholamine and serotonin contents were measured with HPLC. In our study, stress mainly induced increase of concentration of neurotransmitters in brain without other significant physical change of rats. GO inhibited stress induced changes of neurotransmitter content in brain.

Shelf-life of soybean curd prepared with ozone-treated soybeans investigated on pH, acidity, sour taste, slime formation during storage at 3$0^{\circ}C$. Total Plate counts of raw soybeans showed about log 7.0 CFU/g before ozone treatment. The sterilization efficiency of raw soybeans showed the most effective in 0.5ppm of aqueous ozone treatment at 4$^{\circ}C$ for 90 minutes. Raw soybeans were treated with ozone by different methods; (1) Ozone treatment for 90 + 90 minutes (first 3.5~5 hours and later 8.5~10 hours) of 10 hours during soaking in aqueous solutions at 4$^{\circ}C$ (OW). (2) Ozone treatment by exposure first to 30ppm of gaseous ozone for 90 minutes and then allied to OW method (GO+OW). The log reduction of raw soybeans treated by OW and GO+OW methods showed 3.72 and 4.15, respectively. Soybean curd prepared with OW and GO+OW-treated soybeans kept the shelf-life of 4 and 5.5 days at 3$0^{\circ}C$, respectively, but, that without ozone treatment spoiled at me day.

Gemtuzumab ozogamicin (GO) is an antibody-targeted chemotherapeutic agent consisting of calicheamicin, a potent cytotoxic antibiotic linked to a recombinant humanized anti CD33 monoclonal antibody directed against the CD33 antigen present on leukemic myeloblasts in most patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). GO is indicated for the treatment of patients with CD33 positive AML in first relapse who are 60 years of age or older and who are not considered candidates for cytotoxic chemotherapy. GO has shown moderate activity as a single agent in patients with CD33-positive refractory or relapsed acute myeloid leukaemia, with more promising results in acute promyelocytic leukaemia. The side effect profile may be an improvement on conventional chemotherapy, except for a higher frequency of veno-occlusive disease or sinusoidal obstructive syndrome, especially after a subsequent haematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Because of the different mechanisms of action and non-overlapping toxicities, the integration of this immunoconjugate with standard chemotherapy is a rational approach.

We consider the irrational part of the basic pattern drafting of the Geo-Ko-ri so that we want to design it more scientically. So there are problems which is found after we considered with comparison about the existingly basic pattern drafting of Geo-go-ri. (1) there is a difference between the practical and Calculation. (2) The part of the curved line was mad indistinctly There is a difference betweence the calculating expression and calculating value. (4) There are some parts which lack objectivity about the reference size. (5) The calculating method of Collar-width and Neck-Nidth are not formative and rational. These are items that we must consider and study further. Especially if we can make up of the scientific form in consideration of the formativeness focused on "git" I think it will make a great contribution to not only the standardization of the basic pattern of Geo-go-ri and the use of the use of education but also the manufacture of individual clothing the production by Auto CAD. In this paper, an approach of automatically finding and modifying the most appropriate orthogonal array (GO) is suggested and applied to a new structural optimization procedure with two steps. GO is motivated by the situation where finding a proper orthogonal array from the tables in the literature is difficult or impossible. Now the Taguchi method is made available for various numbers of variables and levels. In the two-step structural optimization, the Taguchi method equipped with GO and a shape optimization using the finite differencing method is consecutively applied. The existence or non-existence of an element can be taken as a factor level and this feature is utilized finding the best topology from a set of potential topologies suggested from the user's expertise. This greatly enhances applicability and one can expect a better result than the case in which each step is applied independently because these steps are complementary each other.

Graphite oxide (GO) was produced using the modified Hummer's method. Poly(p-phenylene sulfide) (PPS)/reduced graphite oxide (RGO) composites were prepared by in situ polymerization method. The electrical conductivity of the PPS/RGO composites was no more than 82 S/m. It was found that as GO content increased in the PPS/RGO composites, the crystallization temperature and electrical conductivity of the composites increased and the percolation threshold value was at 5-8 wt% of GO content.

As the fossil fuels are depleted nowadays, development of alternative energies is absolutely required in the world. Efficient production of hydrogen by water-splitting using solar energy can be one of the methods to solve the global energy and environmental problems. But this method has a problem of low conversion efficiency. The application of graphene can be one method to help increase the conversion efficiency. For this reason, mass production of high quality graphene is required. In this study, we prepared graphene using the chemical exfoliation method. We applied the Hummer's method and Tour's method to oxidize the graphite and could get the different Graphene Oxide(GO) from different process conditions. We also tried to convert the GO to graphene by thermal reduction and could remove functional group of GO effectively. The control of oxidation conditions was quite important to obtain the high quality graphene.

Kyu-Soo Park wrote the book "Gur Ga Jap Bok Ko" (Proposition for Household Casuals) around A.D. 1865. He was a widely-learned man and a proponent of Korean self-consciou-seness like his fellow Pragmafist against then prevailing Chinese influence, which had already penetrated deeply into ordinary life style. According to this fact we can see not only the general dress-cystoms but the new customs of some high-birth People with evident self-consciouseness like him at that time. For example, they wore "Sim Eui" and "Bok Gun" as the dress of their ordinary life in spite of the general dress custom wearing the "Do Po" (Traditional Korean full-dress attire) and "Gat" (Traditional cylindrical Korean hat) as an ordinary or a ceremonial dress irrespective of rank at that time. Women wore an overcoat with "Chima" and "Jur. Go Ri" instead of the shortened "Jur, Go Ri" and buttock exagerating "Chima" largely popular at that time too. And also wore "So Eui" instead of "won Sam" or "Dang Eui" prevailing for the psychological resemblance of higher ranking group. Male yougnsters wore "Sa Gyu Sam" as an ordinary life dress and Girls wore "Chima and Jur Go Ri".

This study was carried out to investigate the supplementary effects of ${\gamma}$-oryzanol extracted from rice bran on lipid metabolism in diabetic mice. We supplied 2 kinds of experimental diets (CO without and GO with 0.2％ ${\gamma}$-oryzanol) to diabetic mice for 8 weeks. Diet intake, body weight, organ weight, contents of serum and hepatic lipid profiles, and fecal lipid levels were measured. Though there was no significant difference in diet intake, body weight change and organ weight between experimental groups, the concentration of serum total cholesterol and hepatic total lipid, total cholesterol and HMG-CoA reductase activity was significantly lower in GO group treated with 0.2％ ${\gamma}$-oryzanol of diet than CO group after supplementary period of experimental diets. And total lipid, triglyceride, total cholesterol, and bile acid levels excreted to feces were significantly higher in GO group than CO group. These results suggest that ${\gamma}$-oryzanol decrease the serum and hepatic lipid levels by lowing HMG-CoA reductase activity or increasing the contents of fecal lipid in diabetic KK mice.
