  • Since the Kyoto Protocol was released in 2005, there has been a number of mechanisms about funding and how to allocate the burdens. The UNFCCC(United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change)have discussed establishing an international fund to support the reduction of a greenhouse gas. As the availability of adaption finance for developing countries increase, it's needed for a way of prioritizing countries. This article analyzes the carbon reduction system that includes a emission trading scheme, a carbon tax and examines GCF(Green Climate Fund)'s role and needs. A solution to finance Green Climate Fund is more preferred a harmonized carbon tax that across all nations with carbon tax. Especially the role of industrialized countries is important that based on their historical responsibility for fossil fuel emission. That is, they should get more shares of the global costs than developing countries.

  • Following this introduction, this paper presents two conceptual and theoretical analyses-(i) CSR and its relation to profit and charity (ii) CSR as part of a service business model. The paper then illustrates these concepts using a comparative study of four service firms, with particular emphasis on their different CSR activities and how these affect the mission of each company. All four of the service companies are global actors with strong Service Brands (Edvardsson, Enquist and Hay, 2006) and a leading position in using CSR as a driving force for doing business: IKEA, Starbucks, H&M and the Body Shop. The paper then draws together the conceptual analysis and the case studies in a discussion of how CSR can be a proactive driver in the service business. Because of the limit space for a QMOD paper the focus is on the conceptual and theoretical analysis part and the empirical part and discussion/conclusion has to be further developed.

The main results of the analysis can be summarized as follows: first, Korean overseas local corporations have achieved localization for physical workers. But localization above middle manager level is very poor. Second, local corporations are managed by the employee from Korean parent company. Third, parent company mentioned language ability, work process ability of local business, responsibility, leadership as selection basis for the workers in overseas local corporations. Localization propel strategy of local corporation human resources recruiting : (1) human resources recruiting strategy is the strategy of outsider. simple global human resources recruiting strategy is the recruiting of person dispatched from headquarter rather than local human resources (2) human resources recruiting strategy is the strategy of multidomestication. multidomestication human resources recruiting strategy is the strategy to use in case of stabilization in local area.

  • This paper analyses the real-time performance of Ethernet based intranet whether it is applicable to the real-time network. Unpredictability of transmission delay by collision-delay-retransmission mechanism in CAMA/CD(Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Collision Detect) of Ethernet is the major reason making hard to apply to real-time system. Both retransmission mechanism of TCP(Transmission Control Protocol) for reliability and sliding windows algorithm for high utilization make hard to predict transmission delay. Because real-time control network require fast responsibility and bustle of short-periodic messages, global-clock for collision avoidance and UDP(User Datagram Protocol) for high utilization of network are used. The mathematical models for time-delay that can be occured between ...

  • The construction liability type CM has been introduced in the form of a pilot project through public institutions since 2017 since it was introduced in the term of construction responsibility type construction project management in the Basic Law of Construction Industry in 2011 with the aim of improving the constitution of the Korean construction industry and strengthening global competitiveness. Through the introduction of construction-responsible CM, the government intends to change the paradigm of the overall construction industry, including design and construction, construction costs, disputes between stakeholders, and transparency of business. In this regard, the study aims to compare and analyze the evaluation methods on the bidding guide that public institutions (LH) are currently using to select companies in order to lay the foundations for successful construction of construction-responsible CM ordering methods.

  • Price quotations for SOR / RFQ from OEM clients is a very important process in the automotive parts industry. However, OEM clients are demanding a price quote on short duration but it takes long delivery time due to sales, research and development, purchasing, production and cost management departments role and jobs focused on detail and responsibility. And to provide a reasonable alternative with eliminating the waste of non-value processes is to achieve OEM clients satisfaction through standardized and parallel processing, IT system based on the systems and processes of global benchmark companies.

  • The rapidly developing medical environment has required the expertise and social responsibility of radiologic technologists and needs to be enacted to support them. Therefore, the purpose of this study tried to present the basis for enacting advanced radiologic technologists act in Korea by studying the United State's license system to reflect the changes of the times. As a result, we were suggested the following conclusions. First, granting the legal status of advanced radiologic technologists is a global trend. Second, in order to legislate the advanced radiologic technologists license system, the formation of an industry-government-academic council should be preceded. • Companies are increasingly performing corporate social responsibility (CSR) as part of their strategic plans, but the effect of CSR activities on short-term financial performance is disputed. Researchers have found ambiguous relationships through mediating factors, but few studies have investigated internal stakeholders in this context and the firm characteristics that moderate these relationships. This study uses a competitive mediating model that examines job satisfaction as a mediator in the relationship between CSR and short-term financial performance for Korean companies. For the analysis, data from 195 companies covering 2014 to 2017 were collected and analyzed via panel regression. The findings indicate that CSR activities had a negative effect on short-term financial performance but a positive effect on job satisfaction; however, the larger the firm, the smaller the positive effect of CSR activities. Moreover, job satisfaction positively affects short-term financial performance, and this relationship is stronger in service firms.
