A bacterium capable of producing melanin pigment in the presence of L-tyrosine was isolated from a crop field soil sample and identified as Klebsiella sp. GSK based on morphological, biochemical, and 16S rDNA sequencing. The polymerization of this pigment occurs outside the cell wall, which has a granular structure as melanin ghosts. Chemical characterization of the pigment particles showed then to be acid resistant, alkali soluble, and insoluble in most of the organic solvents and water. The pigment got bleached when subjected to the action of oxidants as well as reductants. This pigment was precipitated with $FeCl_3$, ammoniacal silver nitrate, and potassium ferricynide. The pigment showed high absorbance in the UV region and decreased absorbance when shifted towards the visible region. The melanin pigment was further charecterized by FT-IR and EPR spectroscopies. A key enzyme, 4-hydroxyphenylacetic acid hydroxylase, that catalyzes the formation of melanin pigment by hydroxylation of L-tyrosine was detected in this bacterium. Inhibition studies with specific inhibitors, kojic acid and KCN, proved that melanin is synthesized by the DOPA-melanin pathway.

본 논문에서는 지능형 차량에서 사용되는 레이더 센서 사이의 상호 간섭 억제 방법을 제안한다. 이 연구는 표준화된 펄스형 레이더에서 동기형 간섭 신호의 억제 방안에 관한 것이다. 레이더 펄스의 방사는 ON-OFF 제어되며, OFF 구간에서 수신된 간섭 신호는 각 레이진 별로 분석되어 저장되며 이를 이용하여 ON 구간에서의 거짓 반사파의 위치를 예측하며, 이로써 ON 구간에서의 동기형 간섭 신호를 제거한다. I-Q 변복조 방식의 레이더 시스템에서, Rayleigh 분포와 Rician 분포의 잡음에서의 오경보 확률과 미탐지 확률을 유도하였다. 펄스 신호 유무의 판별 시의 임계값을 적응적으로 조절함으로써 오경보 확률은 감소시키고 미탐지 확률의 저하를 억제하는 방법을 제시하였으며, 시뮬레이션 결과 오경보 확률은 최고 10\sup 4\배 감소하였고 미탐지 확률의 저하는 무시할 정도였다.

고스트제거기는 수직공백구간 내에 삽입된 고스트제거기준신호 라인을 포획하여 송출된신호가 채널을 경유하면서 겪은 왜곡을 정확히 추정 하여야한다. 그런데 고스트가 심해지면 동기분리가 제대로 되지 않기 때문에 채널추정을 위한 데이터를 포획할 수 없게 된다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 문제점을 해결하고자 고스트제거기준신호의 상관특성을 활용해 프리 런(free run)하는 클록신호로 효과적으로 데이터를 획득하는 방법을 제안하고 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 동하여 검증하고자 한다. 고스트제거기준신호는 컬러 버스트를 제거하고 신호대잡음비를 개선하고자 4 필드에 걸쳐 그 각성이 반전되기 때문에 데이터 획득과정에서 수반되는 타이밍 지터 문제를 해결하는 방안도 제안한다. 시뮬레이션 결과 타이밍 지터 문제를 샘플간격의 약 4% 이하가지 고스트제거기준신호를 제대로 포획할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.

Magnetic Resonance Image represents three-dimensional diagnostic imaging technique using both nuclear magnetic resonance phenomenon and computer. Compared with computed tomography (CT), MRI have advantages harmless to patient's body, three-dimensional image with high resolution and disadvantages long data acquisition time because of long T1 relaxation time, relatively low signal to noise ratio, high cost of setting, also. As physiologic motion of tissue results in motion ghost in MRI, high 2.0Tesla make improve low signal to noise ratio. This study have aim to improve image quality with controling motion ghost of tissue. Supposing a moving pixel in constant frequency, one pixel make two ghosts which are same size and different anti-phase. So, this study will show adjust parameter on locational control of motion ghost. Author made moving phantom replaced by respiratory movement of human, researched change of motion frequency, FOV by location shift, and them decided optimal FOV (field of view). The results are as follows: 1. The frequency content of the motion determines how far the image always appear in phase-encoding direction, the morphology of the ghost image is characteristic of the direction of the motion and its amplitude. 2. Double FOV of fixed signal object for locational control of motion ghost is recommended. Decreasement of spatial resolution by increasing FOV can compensate on increasing of matrix in spite of scan time increasement.

Features of the Occult Culture is preferred that powers, demons, magic, magical, unreal etc. Currently Occultism is getting a lot of attention to the public in the society, culture, arts and the play. Fashion in the period that includes all circumstances is a field. Thus, the current Occultism and modern fashion will also be related. Objective of the study is to figure out the form and meaning of Occultism in Contemporary Fashion. An example of the best of contemporary trends is the mass media, For this reason, Occultism symptoms range of case studies mess media(television programs and film). Research on contemporary fashion range was used 2000-2013 fashion collection extracted from the data. Represented in the mess media features of occultism is 'Witchcraft and Sorcery' and 'Death and Horror'. They are story of wizard exorcism and unnatural horror. In the 21st century, modern people are enjoying occultism, and occultism is the one of the entertainment. Expressed in contemporary fashion features of occultism is 'Super-human organism', that is out of the human body, ignoring body shape and type of transformed organism. Second distinction is 'Ghost', they are something like the dark and dismal, shape of ghosts and look pale. Third distinction is 'Neo-Macabre', it is the shape of the skeleton. Skeleton symbolizing the end of life, skeleton to express Occultism has emerged as the most representative motifs in the 21st century fashion. Occultism expressed in fashion is a gothic fantasy, because the fashion can be expressed. In addition, people in modern society wants to be against the norms and taboos. The trend Occult-culture is a symbol of the public's desires and needs.

This study examined the characteristics of costumes worn at Halloween parties, a form of cultural entertainment commonly seen in the U.S. The Halloween party culture involves children and adolescents wearing costumes, decorating their bodies, and mimicking famous characters. Furthermore, the types and motifs of Halloween costumes have become a means of expressing individuality. This study conducted empirical research on how such motifs were reflected in modern Halloween party-wear in order to provide basic data regarding the development and design of Halloween costumes and the formation of the related entertainment culture. This study researched the shape of costumes and the type of traditional motif presented in these costumes, as well as analyzed the symbolic meaning of each motif. The research process was as follows. First, this study investigated the origin and evolution of Halloween by researching precedent studies, books, and internet data. Second, this study extracted the types of traditional Halloween motifs by analyzing the characteristics and symbols of Halloween costumes commonly presented in such materials. After collecting 547 Halloween-related images from U.S. and Korean Internet websites, this study sorted and analyzed images that could represent traditional Halloween motifs. According to the results, representative traditional Halloween motifs included black cats, white rabbits, tridents, scarecrows, skull and bones, ghosts, witches, vampires, bats, werewolves, and jack-o-lanterns(pumpkins, etc.). The sentiments for such traditional Halloween motifs changed according to era and race. The symbolic meaning would continuously change - from positive to negative and vice versa - to reflect various socio-cultural phenomena. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic data for developing Halloween costume designs and the related entertainment culture.

<콜드 케이스>는 미제 살인 사건을 수사하는 미국 필라델피아 강력반의 이야기를 그리는 미국 TV시리즈이다. 시리즈는 여타의 인기 있는 시리즈들과 달리, 과거와 현재의 시간을 오가며 미국 역사의 소수자, 주류 역사에서 지워진 보통의 범죄 희생자들을 주인공으로 한다. 이유는 시리즈의 목표가 과거의 용기 있는 이들의 헌신으로 이루어진 사회적, 정치적 변화에 대하여 현재의 우리들이 미처 기억하지 못한 부분들을 다시 한 번 돌아보게 해주는 것이기 때문이다. 시리즈는 플래시 백 기법, 영혼의 등장, 시대배경과 주제에 정확하게 부합되는 대중음악의 사용을 통해 시청자들의 감정적 몰입을 유도하고, 간접경험으로만 기억하고 있는 역사적 사건들의 숨은 주인공들을 기억하게 한다. 즉, 기존의 기억만으로는 부족한 부분을 좀 더 세밀하게 보완한 "보철적 기억"의 개념으로 시리즈 존재의 가치를 입증한다. 우월한 지식과 권력의 남용으로 구성한 사회적 구조의 변화는 개인들의 끝없는 노력을 통해서만이 가능했고, 절대 그들을 잊어서는 안된다는 것이 시리즈 전체의 이야기 이다.
