The purpose of this study is to understand the production efficiency of individual fishing communities and provide directions for improvement. The subject of the study is aquaculture type Ochon-Gye in Goheung-gun. The analysis method used bootstrap-DEA to overcome the statistical reliability problem of the traditional DEA analysis technique. In addition, data mining-GIS was applied to identify the spatial productivity of fishing communities. The values of technology efficiency, pure technology efficiency, and scale efficiency were estimated for 32 aquaculture-type fishing villages. Then, using the benchmarking reference set and weights, the projection was presented through adjustment of the input factor excess, and furthermore, the confidence interval of the efficiency values considering statistical significance was estimated using bootstrap.

The main purpose of this presented investigation is to build up the BHMS based on GNSS. This proposed monitoring system can conduct the deflection and dynamic characteristics analysis by using only GNSS positioning solution. The general bridge monitoring system being operated recently is composed of a combination of various sensors that are able to conduct deflection monitoring and dynamic characteristics monitoring analysis at the same time. However, GNSS based BHMS has the unique procedure in terms of data analysis. In the other words, GNSS positioning solution is firstly applied to deflection monitoring analysis then, this deflection analysis can be sequentially reflected in the dynamic characteristics. Unfortunately, the adjustment result of GNSS positioning solution estimated through various options and conditions and the process of monitoring analysis has not been fulfilled systematically. This means that different results or analysis value are presented according to the methodology and officers. Most of researches have been focusing on deflection monitoring analysis and some investigation regarding to dynamic characteristics is recently introduced. Moreover, it is not still reported the systematic investigation with regards to proper filtering and analysis methodology. This study was carried out based on a large amount of data, from this, various variables not reported yet are actively considered. Therefore, specific software for both monitoring analysis have been developed.
Global warming has made the polar regions more accessible, leading to increased demand for the construction of new resource-development plants in oil-rich permafrost regions. The selection of locations of resource-development plants in permafrost regions should consider the surface displacement resulting from thawing and freezing of the active layer of permafrost. However, few studies have considered surface displacement in the selection of optimal locations of resource-development plants in permafrost region. In this study, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) analysis using a range of geospatial information variables was performed to select optimal locations for the construction of oil-sands development plants in the permafrost region of southern Athabasca, Alberta, Canada, including consideration of surface displacement. The surface displacement velocity was estimated by applying the Small BAseline Subset Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar technique to time-series Advanced Land Observing Satellite Phased Array L-band Synthetic Aperture Radar images acquired from February 2007 to March 2011. ERA5 reanalysis data were used to generate geospatial data for air temperature, surface temperature, and soil temperature averaged for the period 2000~2010. Geospatial data for roads and railways provided by Statistics Canada and land cover maps distributed by the North American Commission for Environmental Cooperation were also used in the AHP analysis. The suitability of sites analyzed using land cover, surface displacement, and road accessibility as the three most important geospatial factors was validated using the locations of oil-sand plants built since 2010. The sensitivity of surface displacement to the determination of location suitability was found to be very high. We confirm that surface displacement should be considered in the selection of optimal locations for the construction of new resource-development plants in permafrost regions.

Using 3D point data implemented from terrestrial LiDAR, this research has modelled geospatial data in 2 categories(gridded & un-gridded) and conducted LOS analysis experiment using outcome from the modeling exercise. To compare LOS analysis results from each of the 2 models in the above, maximum LOS (line of sight) range in the experimental area was specified as 30m in Area A, 40m in Area B and 50m in Area C and the time taken by LOS analysis and the number of visible points were measured. As for the LOS analysis experiment results, in comparison with the gridded model, the un-gridded model took about 3.9 times more time in Area A, 5.4 times in Area B and 6.5 times in Area C. In addition, about 0.97 times fewer points were measured in Area A, 0.93 times in Area B and 0.94 times in Area C. The difference between gridded model and un-gridded model in terms of the time taken by LOS analysis increased, as the maximum LOS range extended. On the other hand, the number visible points did not vary significantly in reference to the size of visible range.

In keeping with the increasing demand for medical services in accordance with the economic development, the use of oriental medicine is on the rise year by year. In particular, it is a tendency that the elderly over age 65 prefer the oriental medicine to the western medicine in Korea. Under the circumstance, changing into an aging society, the importance of oriental medical services has been growing. In this regard, this study evaluated the quality of medical services by conducting the density analysis and the accessibility analysis of oriental medical clinic targeting Jinju, which is one of local small and medium-sized cities. The study results reveal that oriental medical hospitals accounted for 27% of the entire medical facilities in Jinju, and there was an imbalance in the quality of the oriental medical services according to districts(called dong) because oriental medical hospitals were mainly concentrated in the central commercial areas. In particular, in terms of the analysis on the accessibility of an aging population over age 65 to the oriental medical hospitals, over 50% of the whole districts (dongs) in Jinju were blind spots in medical services, showing a very vulnerable condition. Accordingly, it is judged that systematic measures for improvement in support of the oriental medical services in local small and medium-sized cities should be provided in Korea when we consider the characteristics of Korea where an aging population is rapidly increasing.

In the 4th industrial revolution, research on solving urban problems using ICT technology is emerging. Representatively, research is being conducted mainly focusing on smart cities. 3D geo-spatial. Various case studies on smart cities are being conducted to solve urban problems, and in order to effectively implement smart cities, it is implemented on the basis of a digital twin interconnecting physical and virtual environments. To implement a digital twin, the concept of space is essential, and spatial information that composes the real world is also essential. Therefore, in order to implement the digital twin, this study conducted a study on the construction and modeling of 3D geo-spatial information based on the national spatial information establishment regulations and the international standard CityGML for buildings, water facilities, and transportation facilities in Jeonju. In Jeonju, the research area, the LOD was defined, and the possibility of digital twin based on geo-spatial information was determined through data collection, analysis, and construction for each detail. In this study, it is meaningful that a plan to construct geo-spatial information for the implementation of a digital twin is presented, and the result of the construction is modeled as an urban standard model. The results of study are expected to be used as reference for detailed construction plans and standard establishment by governments and local governments promoting smart city and digital twin construction in the future.

Due to the recent development of measuring technology and 3D programs, it has become possible to obtain various spatial data. This study utilizes the 2-dimensional data and 3-dimensional data extraction technology based on the existing empirical and statistical DB. The data obtained from geospatial data technology are integrated with civil engineering BIM to conduct the modeling of the topography of the target region and select the optimum location condition by using the cut and fill balance of the volume of earth. The target area is the land around Tamjin River, Jangheong-gun, Jeolla-do. The 3-dimensional topology linked with 3-dimensional mapping technology by using the orth-image and aerial LiDAR that uses aerial photo of the target area is visualized with Civil3D of AutoDesk. By using Civil3D program, the Thanks to the recent development of measuring technology and 3D programs, target area is analyzed through visualization and related data can be obtained for analysis. The method of using civil engineering BIM enables to obtain various and accurate information about the target area which is helpful for addressing the issues risen from the existing methodology. In this regard, it aims at searching for the alternatives and provides suggestions to utilize the information.
