연료 과농 가스발생기의 연소 가스 물성치에 관한 연구 (Study on Combustion Gas Properties of a Fuel-Rich Gas Generator)

  • 액체 로켓 엔진용 가스발생기 개발을 위해서는 추진제 혼합비에 따른 연소 가스의 열역학적 물성치 예측이 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 Lox/Jet A-1 조합의 연료 과농 가스발생기의 실 추진제 연소 시험을 통해 전체 혼합비에 따른 연소 가스의 생성 온도를 계측하였다. 연소실 내 동압 섭동 측정 및 정압 측정 결과를 이용하여 비열비, 가스 상수, 정압 비열과 같은 물성치를 간접적으로 산출해내었다. 본 실험값은 보간 계수를 이용한 예측 결과와 비교해보았을 때 동일한 대표 값을 가지는 것으로 나타나, 보간 계수 예측 방법이 설계 도구로 충분히 적용 가능하다는 것을 확인하였다.

스마트폰을 이용한 가스검출시스템 및 검출 방법연구 (System and method for detecting gas using smart-phone)

  • This study is in regard to the gas detection system and gas detection method utilizing smart phone. This study includes; 1) the sensor module attached to the smart phone to detect and measure flammable gas or toxic gas; and 2) gas detection APP which is installed inside the smart phone and recognizes the user information and location information automatically by reading RFID tag indicating the user or the location to detect gas through the contact area where RFID and blue tooth reader is installed inside of the above mentioned smart phone, and then measures the combustible gas or toxic gas by operating above mentioned sensor module and obtains the data thus measured, and above mentioned smart phone is characterized by its transmission of the above mentioned user information, location information and measured data which are obtained by above mentioned gas detecting APP to operation server via communication network. With this, reliability for the location detecting gas by the user, the result of the measurement, etc. can be secured. Furthermore, this provides the effect of preventing artificial manipulation at the time of input which is associated with the identification of the user to be measured by utilizing removable sensor module and application or the mistake resulted from wrong input by the user. In addition, by transmitting the measured data from the sensor module carrying out gas detection to operation server, this provides the effect of making it possible to process the data thus collected to a specialized data for combustible gas or toxic gas.

  • $Fe_2O_3$ is one of the most important metal oxides for gas sensing applications because of its low cost and high stability. It is well-known that the shape, size, and phase of $Fe_2O_3$ have a significant influence on its sensing properties. Many reports are available in the literature on the use of $Fe_2O_3$-based sensors for detecting gases, such as $NO_2$, $NH_3$, $H_2S$, $H_2$, and CO. In this paper, we investigated the gas-sensing performance of a Pt-doped ${\varepsilon}$-phase $Fe_2O_3$ gas sensor. Pt-doped $Fe_2O_3$ nanoparticles were synthesized by a Sol-Gel method. Platinum, known as a catalytic material, was used for improving gas-sensing performance in this research. The gas-response measurement at $300^{\circ}C$ showed that $Fe_2O_3$ gas sensors doped with 3%Pt are selective for $NO_2$ gas and exhibita maximum response of 21.23%. The gas-sensing properties proved that $Fe_2O_3$ could be used as a gas sensor for nitrogen dioxide.

Continuous monitoring of the canopy gas exchange of rice and soybean based on the aerodynamic analysis of the plant canopy

  • It is important to measure the gas exchange activity of the crops in canopy scale to understand the process of biomass production and yield formation. Thermal imaging of the canopy surface temperature is a powerful tool to detect the gas exchange activity of the crop canopy. The simultaneous measurement of the canopy temperature and the meteorological data enables us to calculate the canopy diffusive conductance ($g_c$) based on the heat flux model (Monteith et al. 1973, Horie et al. 2006). It is, however, difficult to realize the long-term and continuous monitoring of $g_c$ due to the occurrence of the calculation error caused by the fluctuation of the environmental condition. This is partly because the model assumption is too simple to describe the meteorological and aerodynamic conditions of the crop canopy in the field condition. Here we report the novel method of the direct measurement of the aerodynamic resistance ($r_a$) of the crop canopy, which enables us the stable and continuous measurement of the gas exchange capacity of the crop plants. The modified heat balance model shows the improved performance to quantify $g_c$ under the fluctuating meteorological condition in the field. The relationship between $g_c$ and biomass production of rice and soybean varieties is also discussed in the presentation.

The very few non-contact method are still in the early stage. One of the non-contact methods is by the use of the laser that has high-level of the accuracy for the measurement, and this laser also has excellent characteristics on which many studies for its applications are focused throughout the many fields. The dissertation is on the measurement of the strain caused by the characteristics and the temperature changes of the TIG welded zone which is used with 3D ESPI system that is functionally modified through the laser ESPI system. This system employed the aluminum sheet-metal which are mainly used for the steel plate such as for the electronics, chemisry, food instrument and electronic appliances.

벼논 메탄 플럭스 측정용 폐쇄형 정적 챔버법: 고찰 (Closed Static Chamber Methods for Measurement of Methane Fluxes from a Rice Paddy: A Review)

  • 온실가스 배출량의 정확한 평가는 모든 기후변화 대응 연구의 초석이며, 신뢰성이 높은 온실가스 배출량의 평가는 모든 기후변화 예측 및 모델링 연구의 실질적인 기초자료로서 활용된다. 온실가스 배출량 산정 기반 기술로서 온실가스 배출량 현장 모니터링 기술, 배출계수의 불확도 평가 기술, 온실가스 배출량 및 저감량 검증 기술 등이 필수적이다. 이런 기반 기술의 핵심에는 토양-식생-대기 간에 교환되는 온실가스 플럭스 산정을 위해 가장 보편적으로 많이 사용되는 폐쇄형 정적 챔버법의 모니터링 기술이 자리 잡고 있다. 본 연구에서는 농업분야 온실가스 단일 배출원으로 가장 큰 부분을 차지하는 벼논에서 발생하는 CH4 플럭스 측정용 폐쇄형 챔버법의 기술적 근간과, 수동형 챔버법에서 전 과정의 자동화 시스템으로 발전을 거듭하고 있는 자동화 챔버 모니터링 기술개발에 대한 국내·외 동향을 소개하였다. 이를 바탕으로 보편적으로 사용하고 있는 챔버법의 표준화된 방법의 고찰과 정확한 현장 자료를 얻기 위한 품질관리 방안이 마련될 수 있을 것이다. 또한 CH4 플럭스 측정방법의 신뢰성 높은 기술 발전 방향에 대해 조망하여 벼논 CH4 배출량 산정 결과들의 신뢰성 향상에 기여하게 될 것으로 전망한다.

Ga이 첨가된 ZnO 박막의 가스센서로의 응용 연구 (Ga doped ZnO Thin Films for Gas Sensor Application)

  • In this work, Ga-doped ZnO (GZO) thin films for gas sensor application were deposited on low temperature co-fired ceramics (LTCC) substrates, by RF magnetron sputtering method. The LTCC substrate is one of promising materials for this application since it has many advantages (e.g., low cost production, high manufacturing yields and easy realizing 3D structure etc.). The LTCC substrates with thickness of $400\;{\mu}m$ were fabricated by laminating 12 green tapes which consist of alumina and glass particle in an organic binder. The structural properties of the fabricated GZO thin film with thickness of 50 nm is analyzed by X-ray diffraction method (XRD) and field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM). The film shows good adhesion to the substrate. The GZO gas sensors are tested by gas measurement system and show fast response and recovery characteristics to $NO_x$ gas that is 27.2 and 27.9 sec, recpectively.

대향타겟식 스퍼터링법을 이용한 TOLED용 ITO 박막의 산소 가스 의존성 (Dependence on the Oxygen Gas of ITO Thin film for TOLED by Facing Targets Sputtering Method)

  • In case of preparation of ITO thin film for using top electrode of Top-emitting Organic Light Emitting Diodes(TOLEDs), the ITO thin film should be prepared at room temperature and low oxygen gas flow condition in order to reduced the damage of organic layer due to the bombardment of highly energetic particles such as negative oxygen ions which accrued from the plasma. In this study, the ITO thin film with high optical transmittance and low resistivity prepared as a function of oxygen gas (0 ${\~}$ 0.8 sccm) and Ar gas was fixed at 20 sccm by the Facing Targets Sputtering (FTS) method. The electrical and optical properties of ITO thin films were measured by Hall effect measurement, UV/VIS spectrometer, respectively In the results, we obtained the ITO thin film with lowest resistivity($3{\times}10^{-4} {\Omega}{\cdot} cm$) at oxygen gas flow 0.2 sccm and optical transmittance over $80\%$ at oxygen gas flow over 0.2 sccm.

The effect of thickness and operation temperature on Ga doped ZnO thin film NOx gas sensor
