In 1990s, the necessity of the Korean contemporary medium/small scale gallery as a place of experience rather than that of simple viewing has increased to meet from the requirements of the pluralistic and popularized society. The gallery makes efforts to form a collective street to cope with the influential of the power large scale cultural space as well as finding a novel direction in order to derive the regional sympathy in connection with the culture space of the neighborgood. In this paper, we study the 1990s Korean medium/small scale gallery in two aspects: First, the architectural techniques and elements which are introduces the audience to both interior and exterior spaces constructed by the 1990s gallery architecture, are investigated. The conventional architecture shows the blocking of the neighborhood and the trend of severance when viewing from both the architectural and the civil points. Secondly, we present the design characteristics from the several points of view such as conceptual, spacial, visual angles. The various trends of works in exhibition of the fine arts can provide a means for producing a great deal of variation in recent gallery architecture when viewing from a stage standpoint of exhibition space.

In this paper, we implemented a web-based 3D virtual pottery gallery Using VR authoring tools. With this system, we expect to cause learning motives and Provide more realistic and interactive learning space. Out system was implemented by making panorama images and 3D object modules using Photo Vista. Object Modeler and Reality Studio. Users can connect to this web site(http://artstory.x-y.net), rotate a pottery panoramically, and zoom it in or out. We designed this virtual gallery can have beneficial influence on students' aesthetic aspects through realistic work appreciations in their art education processes.

Present study concerns the safety evaluation of SefidRud dam's block No. 18 regarding probable crack propagation in the foundation gallery under a MCE record. Accordingly, a 3D finite element model of the block in companion with the reservoir and the foundation is modeled. All the associated thermal and structural parameters are derived via calibration with the records of thermometers and pendulums installed inside the dam body. The origination of the cracks and their whereabouts are determined by primary thermal and static analyses and through a linear dynamic analysis the potential failure zone and their extent and level are studied. The foundation gallery is the most probable zone among the other intensive tensile stress area to compromise the dam stability. Therefore, the nonlinear analysis of this risky region is inevitable. The results depict the permissible expansion of the cracks inside the gallery even under another future earthquake in MCE level. As a consequence, the general dam performance is assessed safe in spite of the seepage flow rate growth from the gallery fractures.

Purpose: The current research based on the comprehensive literature evaluation aims to gain insight into the factors contributing to an Oriental art gallery's success and the strategies used to advertise and sell these works effectively. Understanding and experience in Oriental art are essential for finding solutions to these issues. Research design, data and methodology: The current research conducted the following stages to conduct a thorough literature analysis on the issues that plague Oriental art gallery practitioners and the methods used to increase sales of this kind of art: Finding Valuable Resources and Subjects, Screening and Selection of Articles, Data Extraction and Analysis, Synthesis of Findings. Results: After reviewing the many aspects that affect the success of a gallery specializing in Oriental art, there were four key approaches that have emerged for boosting sales of this kind of artwork. Based on the findings, these approaches are grounded in four areas: consumer preferences; marketing methods; pricing strategies; and art investments. Conclusions: All in all, the current study finally indicates that practitioners should consider cultural background, age, gender, income, and level of education when developing marketing strategies and selecting artwork to exhibit. Target marketing is an effective method for attracting and retaining customers.

This study purports to survey on the illumination environment design in gallery. These gallery spaces need to improve individual illumination environments, in compliance with the recommended ratio of illumination intensity to brightness, and to create a new illumination design using a wide variety of illuminations.

In this study, we designed a virtual gallery using VRML authoring tool. With this system, we expect to provide a realistic and interactive environment where students can appreciate artistic work in their learning processes. Our system is implemented with several methods such as panorama images and 3D object modules with Photo Vista, Object Modeler and Reality Studio. We currently investigate how this virtual gallery can affect students aesthetic aspects with the intended realistic appreciation In their art education processes. In the following section, we describes how we implemented our virtual gallery with vrml authoring tools.

Porous silica-pillared montmorillonites were prepared by simultaneous intercalation of dodecylamine-TEOS [tetraethylorthosilicate, Si(OC2H5)4] into the H-montmorillonite and intragallery amine-catalyzed hydrolysis of TEOS. Mixtures of the H-montmorillonite, dodecylamine and TEOS at molar ratios of 1 : 2 : 15-30 and 1 : 2-6 : 20 resulted to swollen and viscous gel once at room temperature, allowing intercalation compounds which dodecylamine and TEOS were simultaneously intercalated into interlayer of H-montmorillonite. The hydrolysis of the gallery TEOS was conducted in water solution for 40 min at room temperature, affording siloxane-pillared H-montmorillonite. Calcination of samples at 500 $^{\circ}C$ in air resulted in silica-pillared montmorillonite with large specific surface areas between 403 and 577 m2 /g, depending on the reaction stoichiometry. The reaction at H-montmorillonite : dodecylamine : TEOS reaction stoichiometries of 1 : 2 : 15 and 1 : 4 : 20 resulted in high specific surface areas and mesopores with a narrow pore size distribution. Result indicates that the intragallery-amine catalyze the hydrolysis of gallery-TEOS and simultaneously have a role of gallery-templated micellar assemblies.
