  • Vehicle dynamics control systems are. complex and non-linear, so they have difficulties in developing a controller for the anti-lock braking systems and the auto-traction systems. Currently the fuzzy-logic technique to estimate the absolute vehicle speed is good results in normal conditions. But the estimation error in severe braking is discontented. In this paper, we estimate the absolute vehicle speed by using the wheel speed data from standard 50-tooth anti-lock braking system wheel speed sensors. Radial symmetric basis function of the neural network model is proposed to implement and estimate the absolute vehicle speed, and principal component analysis on input data is used. Ten algorithms are verified experimentally to estimate the absolute vehicle speed and one of those is perfectly shown to estimate the vehicle speed with a 4% error during a braking maneuver.

  • Chaotic dynamics is an active research area in fields such as biology, physics, sociology, psychology, physiology, and engineering. Interest in chaos is also expanding to the social sciences, such as politics, economics, and societal events prediction. Most people pursue happiness, both spiritual and physical in many cases. However, happiness is not easy to define, because people differ in how they perceive it. Happiness can exist in mind and body. Therefore, we need to be happy in both simultaneously to achieve optimal happiness. To do this, we need to synchronize mind and body. In this paper, we propose a chaotic synchronization method in a mathematical model of happiness organized by a second-order ordinary differential equation with external force. This proposed mathematical happiness equation is similar to Duffing's equation, because it is derived from that equation. We introduce synchronization method from our mathematical happiness model by using the derived Duffing equation. To achieve chaotic synchronization between the human mind and body, we apply an idea of mind/body unity originating in Oriental philosophy. Of many chaotic synchronization methods, we use only coupled synchronization, because this method is closest to representing mind/body unity. Typically, coupled synchronization can be applied only to non-autonomous systems, such as a modified Duffing system. We represent the result of synchronization using a differential time series mind/body model.

  • The developed security scheme for user authentication, which uses both a password and the various devices, is always open by malicious user. In order to solve that problem, a keystroke dynamics is introduced. A person's keystroke has a unique pattern. That allows the use of keystroke dynamics to authenticate users. However, it has a problem to authenticate users because it has an accuracy problem. And many people use passwords, for which most of them use a simple word such as "password" or numbers such as "1234." Despite people already perceive that a simple password is not secure enough, they still use simple password because it is easy to use and to remember. And they have to use a secure password that includes special characters such as "#!($^*$)^". In this paper, we propose the automatic fortified password generator system which uses special characters and keystroke feature. At first, the keystroke feature is measured while user key in the password. After that, the feature of user's keystroke is classified. We measure the longest or the shortest interval time as user's keystroke feature. As that result, it is possible to change a simple password to a secure one simply by adding a special character to it according to the classified feature. This system is effective even when the cyber attacker knows the password.

  • If a system such as a port has a large boundary and complexity, and the system's substance is considered as a black box, forecast accuracy will be very low. Furthermore various components in a port exert significant influence on each other. To copy with these problem the form of structure models were introduced by using SD method. The Competitive Ports Model had several sub-systems consisting of each Unit Port models, and each Unit Port model was made by quantitative, qualitative factors and their feedback loops. The fact that all components of one port have influence on the components of the other ports should be taken into account to construct Competitive Port Models. However, with the current approach that is impossible, and in this paper, therefore, models were simplified by HFP adapted to integrate level variables of unit port models. Although many studies on modelling of port competitive situation have been conducted, both theoretical frame and methodology are still very weak. In this study, a new algorithm called ESD(Extensional System Dynamics) for the evaluation of port competition was presented, and applied to simulate port systems in northeast Asia.

  • In this paper, the adaptive fuzzy sliding mode controller with two systems is designed. The existing sliding mode controller used to $approximation{\^{u}}(t)$ with discrete sgn function and sat function for keeping the state trajectories on the sliding surface[1]. The proposed controller decrease the disturbance for uncertain control gain and This paper is concerned with an Adaptive Fuzzy Sliding Mode Control(AFSMC) that the fuzzy systems ate used to approximate the unknown functions of nonlinear system. In the adaptive fuzzy system, we adopt the adaptive law to approximate the dynamics of the nonlinear plant and to adjust the parameters of AFSMC. The stability of the suggested control system is proved via Lyapunov stability theorem, and convergence and robustness properties ate demonstrated. Futhermore, fuzzy tuning improve tracking abilities by changing some sliding conditions. In the traditional sliding mode control, ${\eta}$ is a positive constant. The increase of ${\eta}$ has led to a significant decrease in the rise time. However, this has resulted in higher overshoot. Therefore the proposed ${\eta}$ tuning AFSMC improve the performances, so that the controller can track the trajectories faster and more exactly than ordinary controller. The simulation results demonstrate that the performance is improved and the system also exhibits stability.

  • A modeling of the dynamics of two cooperating robot manipulators doing assembly job such as peg-in-hole while coordinating the payload along the desired path is proposed. The system is uncertain due to the unknown mass and moment of inertia of the manipulators and the payload. To control the system, a robust control algorithm is proposed. The control algorithm includes fuzzylogic. By the fuzzy logic, the magnitude of the input torque of the manipulators is controlled not to go over the hardware saturation with keeping path tracking errors bounded.

  • In special effects industry there is a high demand to convincingly mimic the appearance and behavior of natural phenomena such as smoke, waterfall, rain, and fire. Particle systems are methods adequate for modeling fuzzy objects of natural phenomena. This paper presents particle system graphics library for generating special effects in video games and virtual reality applications. The library is a set of functions that allow c++ programs to simulate the dynamics of particles for special effects in interactive and non-interactive graphics applications, not for scientific simulation.

  • Owing to these mechanical properties, carbon nanotubes have the potential to be employed in many future devices and nanostructured materials. As an example, high Young modulus accompanied by their low density, makes them a good choice for reinforcing material in composites. • In this paper, we propose an algorithm that can estimate the distance using disparity based on stereo vision system, even though the obstacle is located in long ranges as well as short ranges. We use sub-pixel interpolation to minimize quantization errors which deteriorate the distance accuracy when calculating the distance with integer disparity, and also we use enhanced adaptive fuzzy strong tracking Kalman filter(EAFSTKF) to improve the distance accuracy and track the path optimally. The proposed method can solve the divergence problem caused by nonlinear dynamics such as various vehicle movements in the conventional Kalman filter(CKF), and also enhance the distance accuracy and reliability. Our simulation results show that the performance of our method improves by about 13.5% compared to other methods in point of root mean square error rate(RMSER).

  • A fuzzy inference technique for real-time textile animation without integration at textile model based Mass-Spring model is introduced. Until now many techniques have used the Mass-Spring model to describe elastically deformable objects like textile. A textile object is able to represent as a deformable surface composed of spring and masses, the movement of textile surface which is analysed through the numerical integration by the fundamental law of dynamics such as Hooke's law. However, the integration methods have 'instability problems' if the explicit Euler's method is applied or 'large amounts of calculation' if the implicit Euler's method is applied. A simple and fast animation technique for Mass-Spring model of a textile with fuzzy inference is proposed. The stabilized simulation result is obtained the state of each mass-point in real-time for the n of mass-points by a relatively simple calculation.
