  • 본 논문에서는 불확실한 비선형 시스템에 대하여 새로운 고장진단 방법을 이용한 고장 허용 제어기를 설계한다. 잔류 신호는 비선형 관측기 구조를 이용하여 얻을 수 있다. 고장 성분은 neuro-fuzzy 근사기로 추정한다. 제안된 고장 허용 제어기는 강인 제어기와 고장 성분을 보상할 수 있는 보상제어기로 구성된다. 여기서 제안된 고장진단 방법은 고장으로 인해 발생되는 보상제어기의 크기로 고장을 진단함으로써 고장 전후의 강인 제어기의 특성을 계속유지 할 수 있게 설계하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 고장 허용 제어기의 성능은 컴퓨터 모의실험을 통하여 증명하였다.

  • The objective of this paper is to develop a powered wheelchair controller based on EMG for users with high-level spinal cord injury. EMG is very naturally measured when the user Indicating a certain direction, and the force information which will be used for the speed of wheelchair is easily extracted from EMG. Furthermore, the emergency situation based on EMG will be checked relatively ease. We classified the pre-defined motions such as rest case, forward movement, left movement, and right movement by Fuzzy Min-Max Neural Networks (FMMNN).   • The characteristics of a power plant changes as it operates for a long time and/or for different operating points. As a result, operators must retune gains of the controllers for better performance. In fact, skilled operators can retune the gains in reference to recorded data obtained by a test called dynamic test. The dynamic test, however, requires much time, and can be heavy burden for operators. In this paper, an expert knowledge-based auto-tuner is designed for drum-type boiler controllers of a fossil power plant using fuzzy logic. The performance of the proposed auto-tuner is shown via computer simulation and the simulation results show that the proposed auto-tuner is satisfactory for the desired performance.

  • Diagnostic prototype expert system was developed by analyzing the measured acoustical data of automobile. For the utilities of this system, 1/3 octave filter(band-pass filter) and A/D converter were used for data acquisition and then information was analyzed using signal processing technique and pattern recognition by Hamming network algorithm. In order to raise the reliability of the diagnostic results, fuzzy inference technique was applied and, the results were displayed as graphical method to help the novice in diagnostic field. The validation of this diagnostic system was checked through experiments and it showed and acceptable performance for diagnostic process.

  • In this paper, we developed an ANFIS controller through ES algorithm for disturbances rejection in Hot Rolling. The looper of a Hot Rolling is installed between each pair of stands and plays key roles to enhance the product quality of the strip by controlling the tension and the width of the strip. At the same time, the AGC on top of the Mill produces a strip with the desired thickness through pressing its Mill. Between both, however, interactions are caused by coupling effects among strip tension, looper angle and strip thickness. In addition, in case disturbances, it is more difficult to keep strip quantities desirable. So we present an ANFIS controller through ES algorithm which is able to identify fuzzy rule with input/output data and update itself through output errors.

  • 본 연구는 기존의 실내 환경 관리시스템의 단순함에 퍼지이론을 부가하여 지능적으로 관리하는 것을 제안한다. 이 장치는 실내의 온도, 습도, 공기 오염도를 센서를 사용하여 측정한 후, 이를 아두이노를 활용한 제어 프로그램으로 보낸다. 계절별 적정 환경을 기준으로 만든 퍼지 규칙을 통해 쾌적한 실내 환경을 만들 수 있도록 에어컨, 제습기, 공기청정기를 제어하여 자동으로 실내의 환경을 관리해주는 지능적인 IoT 환경을 구축한다.

Design of an Intelligent Controller for Waste Water Heat Pump Recycled Energy Systems

  • This study is intended to realize an intelligent controller using fuzzy control algorithms in order to recycle energy by recycling the waste water heat discharged by waste water heat collection boilers. Using waste water inflow temperature changes and waste water inflow amount changes as parameters, we present characteristic curves of the number of compressors being operated at fixed speeds and the temperature of hot water being discharged. We propose an intelligent controller that determines the optimum number of compressors being operated at fixed speeds in real time by measuring changes in the temperature and amount of waste water inflows in order to minimize the number of compressors being operated at fixed speeds relative to the waste water load flowing into the waste water heat collection boiler.

  • Induction motors are a critical component of many industrial machines and are frequently integrated in commercial equipment. The many economical losses and the deterioration of system reliability might be caused by the failure of induction motors in industrial field. Based on the reliability and cost competitiveness of driving system motors, the faults detection and diagnosis of system is considered very important factors. In order to perform the faults detection and diagnosis of motors, the vibration monitoring method and motor current signature analysis MCSA method are emphasized. In this paper, MCSA method is used for induction motor fault diagnosis. This method analyzes the motor´s supply current, since this diagnoses the motor´s condition. The diagnostic system is constructed by using LabVIEW of National Instruments.

  • This paper describes the whole development phase for the underwater vehicle actuating system with high hydroload torque disturbance. This includes requirement analysis, system modeling, control algorithm design, real time implementation, test and performance evaluations. As for driving control algorithms, fuzzy logic, variable structure and PD(Proportional-Differential) algorithm were designed and implemented on board controller using a single chip microprocessor. Intel 8797. And test and performance evaluation is carried out both single test and wystem integration test. We could confirm the basic performance of actuating system through the single test and gereral developing work of any actuating systems was finished with a single performance test of actuating system without system integration test. But, we suggested that system integration test be needed. System integration test is carried out using G/C HILS(Guidance and Control Hardware-In-the -Loop Simulation) which is constituted flight motion simulator, load simulator, real time host computer and the related subsystems such as inertial navigation system, power supply system and Guidance and Control Computer etc.. The most important practical contribution of this paper is that full system characteristics such as minimal control effort, enhancement of guidance and autopilot performance by the actuating system using G/C HILS technique are investigated. Through full running G/C HILS, in spite of the passing to single tests, some control algorithm resulted in failure as to stability of full system and system time frame.

  • It is difficult to construct a controller for a mobile robot so that it can adapt appropriately in dynamicallychanging environment. To solve this problem, extensive research has been actively performedto construct a controller by evolutionary method, but few results has come out about the behavioraln~echanism of the evolutionarily constructed controller. This paper attemps to systematically analyze themechanism of the controller constructed by evolution. As a result, we have found that evolution canproduce a controller that can solve a given problem properly, where given problem is divided into severalsub problems and adequate mechanisms emerge for each sub problem. The whole problem hasbeen solved through the complicated interactions of these mechanisms.
