  • The existence of the operator-valued Feynman integral was established when a Wiener functional is given by a Fourier transform of complex Borel measure [1]. In this paper, I investigate a stability of the Feynman integral with respect to the potentials.

  • We use convolution techniques to define certain classes of starlike functions which are associated with Lommel operator. Some inclusion results are investigated. It is also shown that these classes are invariant under Bernardi integral operator.

  • In this paper we use a generalized Brownian motion process to defined an analytic operator-valued generalized Feynman integral. We then obtain explicit formulas for the analytic operatorvalued generalized Feynman integrals for functionals of the form $$F(x)=f\({\int}^T_0{\alpha}_1(t)dx(t),{\cdots},{\int}_0^T{\alpha}_n(t)dx(t)\)$$, where x is a continuous function on [0, T] and {${\alpha}_1,{\cdots},{\alpha}_n$} is an orthonormal set of functions from ($L^2_{a,b}[0,T]$, ${\parallel}{\cdot}{\parallel}_{a,b}$).

  • In this paper, a new genetic algorithm is proposed for solving multimodal function optimization problems that are not easily solved by conventional genetic algorithm(GA)s. This algorithm finds one of local optima first and another optima at the next iteration. By repeating this process, we can locate all the local solutions instead of one local solution as in conventional GAs. To avoid converging to the same optimum again, we devise a new genetic operator, called a Mendel operator which simulates the Mendels genetic law. The proposed algorithm remembers the optima obtained so far, compels individuals to move away from them, and finds a new optimum.

  • Here we exhibit multivariate quantitative approximations of Banach space valued continuous multivariate functions on a box or ℝN, N ∈ ℕ, by the multivariate normalized, quasi-interpolation, Kantorovich type and quadrature type neural network operators. We treat also the case of approximation by iterated operators of the last four types. These approximations are achieved by establishing multidimensional Jackson type inequalities involving the multivariate modulus of continuity of the engaged function or its high order Fréchet derivatives. Our multivariate operators are defined by using a multidimensional density function induced by the generalized symmetrical sigmoid function. The approximations are point-wise and uniform. The related feed-forward neural network is with one hidden layer.

  • In this paper it is proved that for p-hyponormal or log-hyponormal operator A there exist an associated hyponormal operator T, a quasi-affinity X and an injection operator Y such that TX = XA and AY = YT. The operator A and T have the same spectral picture. We apply these results to give brief proofs of some well known spectral properties of p-hyponormal and loghyponormal operators, amongst them that the spectrum is a continuous function on these classes of operators.

  • By using the generalized operator method given by Burchnall and Chaundy in 1940, the authors present one-dimensional inverse pairs of symbolic operators. Many operator identities involving these pairs of symbolic operators are rst constructed. By means of these operator identities, 11 decomposition formulas for the generalized hypergeometric $_4F_3$ function are then given. Furthermore, the integral representations associated with generalized hypergeometric functions are also presented.

  • Making use of a generalized differential operator we introduce some new subclasses of multivalent analytic functions in the open unit disk and investigate their inclusion relationships. Some integral preserving properties of these subclasses are also discussed.

  • Our basic concern in this paper is to investigate some geometric properties of the graph of a maximal monotone operator in the one dimensional case. Using a well-known theorem of Minty, we answer S. Simon's questions affirmatively in the one dimensional case. Further developments of these results are also treated. In addition, we provide a new proof of Rockafellar's characterization of maximal monotone operators on R: every maximal monotne operator from R to $2^R$ is the subdifferential of a proper convex lower semicontinuous function.
