Traditional frequent pattern mining discovers valid patterns with no smaller frequency than a user-defined minimum threshold from databases. In this framework, an enormous number of patterns may be extracted by a too low threshold, which makes result analysis difficult, and a too high one may generate no valid pattern. Setting an appropriate threshold is not an easy task since it requires the prior knowledge for its domain. Therefore, a pattern mining approach that is not based on the domain knowledge became needed due to inability of the framework to predict and control mining results precisely according to the given threshold. Top-k frequent pattern mining was proposed to solve the problem, and it mines top-k important patterns without any threshold setting. Through this method, users can find patterns from ones with the highest frequency to ones with the k-th highest frequency regardless of databases. In this paper, we provide knowledge both on frequent and top-k pattern mining. Although top-k frequent pattern mining extracts top-k significant patterns without the setting, it cannot consider both item quantities in transactions and relative importance of items in databases, and this is why the method cannot meet requirements of many real-world applications. That is, patterns with low frequency can be meaningful, and vice versa, in the applications. High utility pattern mining was proposed to reflect the characteristics of non-binary databases and requires a minimum threshold. Recently, top-k high utility pattern mining has been developed, through which users can mine the desired number of high utility patterns without the prior knowledge. In this paper, we analyze two algorithms related to top-k high utility pattern mining in detail. We also conduct various experiments for the algorithms on real datasets and study improvement point and development direction of top-k high utility pattern mining through performance analysis with respect to the experimental results.

This study aimed to offer groundwork for grasp and evaluation of nutritional status and dietary fiber intake through 24-hr recall method among middle school students in Chungbuk area. In addition, this study attempted to develop food frequency questionnaire (FFQ) for dietary fiber intake. Average calorie intake per person a day was 2035.6 kcal for boys, and 1876.7 kcal for girls which were 75.4% and 93.8% of estimated energy requirement (EER), respectively. Percent estimated average requirements (%EAR) of calcium, iron and folate were the lowest showing 34.3%, 54.2%, 67.5% for boys and 36.6%, 59.2%, 64.4% for girls, respectively. Average dietary fiber intake per day was
This study was conducted to extract the factors affecting the microbial safety of leaf and stem vegetables in the high school foodservice and to provide information for supplying the safe foodservice menu. The lunch and dinner menu (1,945 data) of the total 6 high schools at the Central and the South Region in March, June, September, and December were collected. The frequency analysis and the multiple correspondence analysis (MCA) based on the 3 factors (potentially hazardous food (PHF), leafy and stem vegetables in the menu, the cooking methods) were conducted. The most frequent PHF was the menu of blanched vegetables, salads, seaweeds and fried chicken. The most frequent consumed leaf and stem vegetables were spinach, chive, lettuce, Western cabbage, perilla leaf, iceberg lettuce, chicory, leek and broccoli. MCA based on the leaf and stem vegetables, the region, and the cooking method (cooked/non-cooked) showed that garlic stem and spinach were more used in the Central Region, while water drop-wort were more used in the South Region. Iceberg lettuce, Bok choy and leek were included frequently in the PHF menu. Plant products frequently used in PHF menu requires the food safety system such as Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) to reduce the microbial risk. The menu database according to raw materials based on cooking methods (heating or mixing) as well as the development and verification of menu based on the microbial safety will be contributed to provide the safer foodservice menu.
This study examined the effects of a simulation-based core skill program regarding emergency care on the knowledge, problem solving process and self-esteem of health related department students. A quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group pre-post test design was used. A total of 46 students, 23 students for the experimental group and 23 students for the control group, were enrolled in this study. The simulation-based core skill program included lectures, skill training, team-based practice, simulation and debriefing. This was implemented in the experimental group for 3 weeks in May, 2013. The data was analyzed using the frequency, ratio, Chi-square, and t-test by the SPSS/Win 18.0. The experimental group, who had a simulation-based core skill program, showed significantly higher clinical knowledge, problem solving process and self-esteem compared to the control group who had a traditional education. A clinical simulation-based core skill program was verified to be an effective teaching method to improve on the clinical knowledge, problem solving process and self-esteem of health-related department students.
Smart speaker is a device that provides an interactive voice-based service that can search and use various information and contents such as music, calendar, weather, and merchandise using artificial intelligence. Since AI technology provides more sophisticated and optimized services to users by accumulating data, early smart speaker manufacturers tried to build a platform through aggressive marketing. However, the frequency of using smart speakers is less than once a month, accounting for more than one third of the total, and user satisfaction is only 49%. Accordingly, the necessity of strengthening the user experience of smart speakers has emerged in order to acquire a large number of users and to enable continuous use. Therefore, this study analyzes the user experience of the smart speaker and proposes a method for enhancing the user experience of the smart speaker. Based on the analysis results in two stages, we propose ways to enhance the user experience of smart speakers by model. The existing research on the user experience of the smart speaker was mainly conducted by survey and interview-based research, whereas this study collected the actual review data written by the user. Also, this study interpreted the analysis result based on the smart speaker user experience dimension. There is an academic significance in interpreting the text mining results by developing the smart speaker user experience dimension. Based on the results of this study, we can suggest strategies for enhancing the user experience to smart speaker manufacturers.
The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70

This study focuses on a ship detection and tracking method using Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) radar used for horizontal surveillance. In general, FMCW radar can play an important role in maritime surveillance, because it has many advantages such as low warm-up time, low power consumption, and its all weather performance. In this paper, we introduce an effective method for data and signal processing of ship's detecting and tracking using the X-band radar. Ships information was extracted using an image-based processing method such as the land masking and morphological filtering with a threshold for a cycle data merged from raw data (spoke data). After that, ships was tracked using search-window that is ship's expected rectangle area in the next frame considering expected maximum speed (19 kts) and interval time (5 sec). By using this method, the tracking results for most of the moving object tracking was successful and those results were compared with AIS (Automatic Identification System) for ships position. Therefore, it can be said that the practical application of this detection and tracking method using FMCW radar improve the maritime safety as well as expand the surveillance coverage cost-effectively. Algorithm improvements are required for an enhancement of small ship detection and tracking technique in the future.
This is the descriptive investigation study intended to provide basic informations to develop concrete method of nurse arbitration which can improve the quality of nursing care on family by investigating and analyzing the perception and practice on family nursing of clinical nurse. 332 nurses working in 4 university hospitals in Seoul have been the object and the collection of data have been conducted by visiting cooperated by the department of nursing in university hospital from April 4th through April 17th 1998. The measuring instrument of the perception and the practice on family nursing which was written by the researcher was used based on the family nursing arbitration by recently amending Calgary Family Arbitration of the Model of Wright & Leahey. Cronbach's a value of this instrument was .9288 in the perception and .9168 in the practice the collected data have been analyzed by frequency percentage, averaged value. t-test, F-test(ANOVA), Duncan's Multiple Range, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, and the results are as the follows: 1. The perception on patient's family nursing of clinical nurse showed comparatively high by 3.22 in average(maximum 3.52, minimum 2.82) on the basis of 4 point but the practice showed low by average 2.47(maximum 3.02, minimum 2.11), By providing the patients and their family with "The information about the health problem of the which is the role of giving explanation and information about the disease. the nurse presents the method of their helping patient and in case that the family lack of knowledge about the health problem and crisis of the patient which is the role of education about the method of solving the crisis and change. the nurse educates about the necessity and method of taking care of the crisis and the changes. The third question that the relation of recognizing the difficuly of family and cooperating with them in supporting the patient for mutual function is to be formed showed high in the degree of perception and practice of the necessity. 2. General characteristics of perception about patient's family nursing of the object showed no significant difference except the concerns about the family usually(F=5.472. p<.001) and general characteristics which showed significant difference in the degree of practice were educational background (F=3.177, p<.05), clinical experience (F=2.462, p<.05) and position(F=7.029. p<.001), and attention about patient's family(F=10.603, p<.001), 3. The relation between perception and practice about the nursing on patient's family showed pure correlation but the degree was very low(r=.188, p<.05). The above results showed that the clinical nurses has been high understanding about the necessity of patient's family nursing but the degree of practice has been very low due to the lack of education about the family nursing, having no ways of nurse arbitration for practical duty and lack of political administrative support. Therefore concrete and systematic family situation and arbitration method to be applied clinically are required to be developed and also the education about patient's family nursing and the development of the course for clinical practice are required and political and administrative support for clinical practice about patient's family nursing is required as well.
