In this paper, The next Generation High Speed Railway Inverter system using RCF-PWM(Random Carrier Frequency Pulse Width Modulation) was developed to reduce electromagnetic noise. RCF-PWM method is randomized the switching frequency in the range between Semiconductor switching devices' maximum switching frequency and minimum switching frequency, Simulation program has been built using MATLAB/Simulink to verify the validity of study. Finally, the simulation results of Next Generation High Speed Railway inverter system using the RCF method was compared with the conventional SVPWM method.
To characterize the biological tissues, the new methods to measure the frequency dependent attenuation are presented in this paper. In general, ultrasonic phase information was assumed by linear function of the frequency. But, the minimum phase function which characterizes the frequency dispersion of tissue was derived in [l]. It is very significant to measure the attenuation by using the minimum phase function to characterize the frequency dispersion of tissue. Therefore, a more efficient method measuring the frequency dependent attenuation are proposed by using the estimated sound velocity and polarity of reflected signal. To verify the algorithms, pulse reflection experiments are performed.

PURPOSE: This study was conducted to investigate the effects of vibration frequency and amplitude on scapular winging during the knee push-up plus exercise. METHODS: A total of 26 female subjects with scapular winging were evaluated while performing the knee push-up plus exercise with no vibration, low-frequency/low-amplitude (5 Hz/3 mm) vibration, low-frequency/high-amplitude (5 Hz/9 mm) vibration, high-frequency/low-amplitude (15 Hz/3 mm) vibration, and high-frequency/high-amplitude (15 Hz/9 mm) vibration. The surface EMG of the serratus anterior (SA) muscle was compared between the vibration frequency and amplitude. The EMG amplitude was normalized using the maximal voluntary isometric contraction (MVIC). The statistical significance of the results was evaluated using one-way ANOVA. RESULTS: The SA muscle EMG values increased at low-frequency/low-amplitude vibration and at low-frequency/high-amplitude vibration compared to no vibration. Furthermore, the same values increased at high-frequency/low-amplitude vibration and high-frequency/high-amplitude vibration compared to no vibration. In general, a higher vibration frequency and amplitude was associated with higher EMG values of the SA muscle, with particularly greater increases observed during high-frequency/high-amplitude vibration. There was also a significant difference between each condition with a high-frequency/high-amplitude vibration (p<.05). CONCLUSION: This study suggests that there were remarkable clinical effect of the knee push-up plus exercise with vibration, which enhanced the SA muscle activation in persons with scapular winging. Furthermore, applying a higher vibration frequency and amplitude more effectively increased for increasing SA muscle activation.

Microwave model and high-frequency measurement of the ACF flip-chip interconnection was investigated using a microwave network analysis. S-parameters of on-chip and substrate were separately measured in the frequency range of 200 MHz to 20 GHz using a microwave network analyzer HP8510 and cascade probe. And the cascade transmission matrix conversion was performed. The same measurements and conversion techniques were conducted on the assembled test chip and substrate at the same frequency range. Then impedance values in ACF flip-chip interconnection were extracted from cascade transmission matrix. ACF flip chip interconnection has only below 0.1nH, and very stable up to 13 GHz. Over the 13 GHz, there was significant loss because of epoxy capacitance of ACF. However, the addition of SiO$_2$filler to the ACF lowered the dielectric constant of the ACF materials resulting in an increase of resonance frequency up to 15 GHz. High frequency behavior of metal Au stud bumps was investigated. The resonance frequency of the metal stud bump interconnects is higher than that of ACF flip-chip interconnects and is not observed at the microwave frequency band. The extracted model parameters of adhesive flip chip interconnects were analyzed with the considerations of the characteristics of material and the design guideline of ACA flip chip for high frequency applications was provided.
This paper presents an efficient frequency offset (FO) estimation algorithm for the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) based wireless local area networks (WLANS). The packet preamble imformation is utilized on the high rate WLAN standards adopted by the IEEE 802.11a. We present FO estimation schemes using diversity. In the simulation results, we prove that the presented schemes can improve the estimation performance compared with the convolutional scheme.

In this paper, using phase locked loop(PLL) synthesizer, we introduce a novel but simple and low cost frequency modulation(FM) circuit of a flat peak frequency deviation fur modulation signal whose frequency covers from outside to inside of the loop-bandwidth of PLL. The FM circuit was basically designed to compensate an amount of feedback of the loop filter in PLL. The circuit also includes the capability of the adjustment of peak frequency deviation and of blocking the intereference with the loop filter. The designed circuit was successfully implemented and showed the flat frequency deviation as expected in the design. In addition, the novel measurement method of the wideband FM modulation index is suggested verified With the suggest measurement, it can be successfully shown the designed circuit has the expected frequency deviation.
The high frequency pulsed power system is widely available for use in high frequency generator applications. We designed and fabricated our own high frequency pulsed power system to obtain very sort pulse width and high peak value and investigated microbe removal characteristics using it. This paper introduces a simple high voltage high frequency pulsed power system for removing various bacteria caused by dirty water. This system include power supply circuit, switching MOSFET, and flyback converter. We can also control the switching using a PIC one chip microprocessor. As a result, we can obtain good removing characteristics of various bacteria by adjusting the charging voltage, the pulse repetition rate and the electrical field inducing time.
The development of the frequency converter using semiconductor enables to easily control the speed of A.C. motors. It is now technically possible and economically feasible to provide them with power at variable frequency, using silicon-controlled-rectifier (or thyristor) inverters. In such a case, if an induction motor is to be operated efficiently over a wide speed range, it must be supplied from a variable-frequency source whose frequency is adjustable over a range similar to that required for the motor speed. It is desired to observe how several characteristics are changed such as primary current, torque-speed, etc. Although the characteristics could be obtained by means of the conventional method, it requires very complicated calculation. It is assumed that the charateristics above are easily investigated by means of current diagram method from variable circuit constants relating to the motor which is designed in rated frequency. In this paper, the results of the study on the current-diagram method and its application are described as follows; (1) In order to discuss the construction of current diagram, the equation of the stator current with adjustable frequency was derived for applying the Current Diagram Method. (2) The radius, the center of the current circle and current vector locus at any desired frequency could be easily determined with the aid of both above mentioned equation and the standard current diagram at reference frequency. (3) This method could be applicable to the various types of Induction Motors, and this paper has dealt with its application to the capacitor, split-phase and 2-phase types of motors.
Morphological information such as shape and margin of micro lesion is important information for diagnosis of disease in clinical imaging. In this study, we investigated the morphological changes of the micro lesions by comparing the contrast and area in grid suppressed DR images according to grid frequency. In the profile analysis of the image, the mass showed an average intensity variation of 8.6 ~ 72.4 after suppression, The higher the grid frequency, the more the contrast was increased. However, in the images obtained using 103 lp / inch, which is a grid frequency less than the sampling frequency, the contrast of the mass in the vertical direction decreased after suppression. In the binary image, the area change of the mass was also large. As a result, the shape, size, and margin of the mass changed. In the case of very small calcification, the higher the grid frequency is the larger the change in contrast, so that a clear image can be obtained in the post-suppression image. However, we could confirm that the margin of the lesion was blurred and the lesion was lost in some of the images using the 103 lp / inch grid. The higher the frequency of the grid, The change of the contrast of fiber occurred largely and clear boundary was confirmed. The decrease of the number of pixels was small and morphological change was small. In conclusion, when using a grid frequency that is not suitable for the sample frequency, morphological changes or lesion loss of micro lesions in the post- suppression image may give the possibility of misdiagnosis in diagnosis and differentiation of the image.
