This study aims at providing basic data for product planning to design smart clothing and to develop applications, focusing on consumers by satisfying their emotions through analyzing emotional factors on smart clothing, comparing emotional differences between conventional clothing and it, reviewing changes of consumers' emotion by integrating the product and clothing and researching differences of preference and purchase intention between smart clothing and traditional one. As the results of the study, emotional factors for smart clothing were analyzed with total 6 including 'technical', 'comfort', 'aesthetic', 'modern', 'fun' and 'multiple' factors. Among them, except for 'comport', five emotional factors showed emotional factors between conventional sport-casual clothing and smart clothing. That is, emotional factors of 'technical', 'aesthetic', 'modern', 'fun' and 'multiple' were emphasized more in smart clothing than conventional ones, indicating that they should be considered in planning products of smart clothing. Though there was no significant difference of preference between smart clothing and conventional clothing, in case of comparison of averages, that of smart clothing was a little higher. For purchase intention, smart clothing was lower than the conventional clothing. So preference seems to be not directly related to consumers' immediate purchase. To make consumers' interests and preference to result in purchase, it is necessary to develop smart clothing with more various applications and to prepare commercializing strategies. As the results of the analysis on free-descriptive questionnaire survey, consumers were interested in development of smart clothing to help diet with functions including energy harvesting from body motion, calorification and perspiration, measurement of motion and calory consumption as well as health-care type smart clothing to measure heartbeat and ECG. Reflecting these requirements from the consumers, they should be utilized as guidance to develop smart clothing in the future.
This study aimed to evaluate the effects of utilizing educational game content for science learning on science-related attitudes. The content was applied to 24 students in an after-school science club at an elementary school in Gyeongsangbuk-do Province followed by a pre and posttest analysis using the Attitude About the Relevance of Science Test and the Creative Personality Test. This study used Tino's Journey, which was developed by the Korea Creative Content Agency and is currently distributed for free through the Ministry of Education to develop nine lessons that include scientific scenarios and concepts presented in the game. The results demonstrated that science lessons utilizing educational game content significantly influenced the science-related attitudes of the students. Among the subdomains, enjoyment of science lessons increased the most followed by the attitude toward scientific inquiry, social meaning of science, and hobby of science. However, the commonness of scientists, acceptance of scientific attitudes, and career in science did not reveal significant differences. This study classified the students into two groups (i.e., high and low, n=12 each) using the Creative Personality Test in advance. This study performed covariate analysis with the score for pre-science-related attitude as the covariate. Result revealed that the scores for science-related attitude significantly differed between the high and low groups. Specifically, the increase in the scores of the low group was larger than that of the high group. Lastly, the study presented implications for the utilization of educational game content in science learning.

Existing conventional model for analysis of shallow water flow just assumed the internal boundary condition as free-slip, which resulted in the wrong prediction about the velocity, vorticity, water level, shear stress distribution, and time variation of drag and lift force around a structure. In this study, a finite element model that can predict flow characteristics around the structure accurately was developed and internal boundary conditions were generalized as partial slip condition using slip length concept. Laminar flow characteristics behind circular cylinder were analyzed by varying the internal boundary conditions. The simulation results of (1) time variations of longitudinal and transverse velocities, and vorticity; (2) wake length; (3) vortex shedding phenomena by slip length; (4) and mass conservation showed that the vortex shedding had never observed and laminar flow like creeping motion was occurred under free-slip condition. Assignment of partial slip condition changed the velocity distribution on the cylinder surface and influenced the magnitude of the shear stress and the occurrence of vorticity so that the period of vortex shedding was reduced compared with the case of no slip condition. The maximum mass conservation error occurred in the case of no slip condition, which had the value of 0.73%, and there was 0.21 % reduction in the maximum mass conservation error by changing the internal boundary condition from no slip to partial slip condition.
This paper presents a method in which the user produces a real-time facial animation by navigating in the space of facial expressions created from a great number of captured facial expressions. The core of the method is define the distance between each facial expressions and how to distribute into suitable intuitive space using it and user interface to generate realtime facial expression animation in this space. We created the search space from about 2,400 raptured facial expression frames. And, when the user free travels through the space, facial expressions located on the path are displayed in sequence. To visually distribute about 2,400 captured racial expressions in the space, we need to calculate distance between each frames. And we use Floyd's algorithm to get all-pairs shortest path between each frames, then get the manifold distance using it. The distribution of frames in intuitive space apply a multi-dimensional scaling using manifold distance of facial expression frames, and distributed in 2D space. We distributed into intuitive space with keep distance between facial expression frames in the original form. So, The method presented at this paper has large advantage that free navigate and not limited into intuitive space to generate facial expression animation because of always existing the facial expression frames to navigate by user. Also, It is very efficient that confirm and regenerate nth realtime generation using user interface easy to use for facial expression animation user want.

A method of dynamic analysis is developed for torsional free vibrations of elliptical-box girder type or stiffening truss system suspension bridge. In this study, the method based on a finite element technique using a digital computer, is illustrated by two numerical examples, the Namhae Bridge which is located in Kyungsang nam-do opened on June, 1973, and the Mt. Chunma Bridge is simple span pedestrian's suspension bridge with lateral bracing system in Mt. Chunma, Kyungki-do, are used. In general, dynamic modes of complex suspension bridges are three-dimensional in form, i.e., coupling between vertical and torsional motions. However, introduced that amplitudes of oscillation are infinitesimal for coincidence with the purpose of it's use, thereupon, the torsional vibration analyses are treated without coupling terms. A sufficient number of natural frequencies and mode shapes for torsional free vibration are presented in this paper. In the case of Mt. Chunma Bridge, the natural frequencies and periods are computed with and without reinforcement, respectively, and compared their discrepancies. The influence of the auxiliary reinforcing cables is prevailing in the first few modes, namely, 1st and 2nd in symmetric and 1st, 2nd and 3rd in antisymmetric vibration, and conspicuous in the symmetric compared with the antisymmetric motion, but in the higher modes, this kind of simple accessory elucidates rether converse effects. In the Namhae Bridge, the results are compared with the Manual's obtained by wind tunnel test. It reveals commendable agreement.

In the present work, a two-dimensional boundary-value problem for a large amplitude motion is treated as an initial-value problem by satisfying the exact body-boundary and nonlinear free-surface boundary conditions. The present nonlinear numerical scheme is similar to that described by Vinje and Brevig(1981) who utilized the Cauchy's theorem and assumed the periodicity in the horizontal coordinate. In the present thesis, however, the periodicity in the horizontal coordinate is not assumed. Thus the present method can treat more realistic problems, which allow radiating waves to infinities. In the present method of solution, the original infinite fluid domain, is divided into two subdomains ; ie the inner and outer subdomains which are a local nonlinear subdomain and the truncated infinite linear subdomain, respectively. By imposing an appropriate matching condition, the computation is carried out only in the inner domain which includes the body. Here we adopt the nonlinear scheme of Vinje & Brevig only in the inner domain and respresent the solution in the truncated infinite subdomains by distributing the time-dependent Green function on the matching boundaries. The matching condition is that the velocity potential and stream function are required to be continuous across the matching boundary. In the computations we used, if necessary, a regriding algorithm on the free surface which could give converged stable solutions successfully even for the breaking waves. In harmonic oscillation problem, each harmonic component and time-mean force are obtained by the Fourier transform of the computed forces in the time domain. The numerical calculations are made for the following problems. $\cdot$ Forced harmonic large-amplitude oscillation(${\omega}{\neq}0,\;U=0$) $\cdot$ Translation with a uniform speed(${\omega}=0,\;U{\neq}0$) The computed results are compared with available experimental data and other analytical results.
This study measured and analyzed the correlation coefficient between movements of thoracoabdominal tumors and external respiration in a free-breathing state, using cyberknife image guided radiotherapy(IGRT). This study subjects included a total of 30 patients with lung tumors(n=10), liver tumors(n=10) and pancreatic tumor(n=10) who underwent radiotherapy, and the movements of tumors were analyzed using converted log data of the tumor motion tracking system(MTS). In a free-breathing state, In relation to Peason's correlation coefficient between external respiration and lung tumors in the entire treatment process, the correlation coefficient was 0.646(p<0.05) in the cranio-caudal direction, 0.365(p<0.088) in the left and right direction and 0.196(p<0.115) in the antero-posterior direction. The correlation coefficient of liver tumors was 0.841(p<0.000) in the cranio-caudal direction, 0.346 (p<0.179) in the left and right direction and 0.691(p<0.001) in the antero-posterior direction. The correlation coefficient of Pancreatic tumors was 0.683(p<0.000) in the cranio-caudal direction, 0.397(p<0.006) in the left and right direction and 0.268(p<0.127) in the antero-posterior direction. In conclusion, the measurement findings of thoracoabdominal tumor movement using IGRT would be helpful in determining an accurate target volume. Moreover, the analysis of correlation between external respiration and movements of internal tumors would provide important information to correct movements of tumors for diverse radiotherapy techniques.
After towing rope connecting a barge to a tug was subdivided into multiple finite elements, then those dynamic models was established using Newton's second law and considering the external force and moment such as tension, drag, Coriolis force, gravity, buoyancy, and impact due to free surface acting on each element. While the previous research on the model of towing rope considered only translation, five-degree-of-freedom equations of motion except roll based on the body-fixed frame were established in this paper. All elements are connected by a spring and a damper, and the stiffness of the spring was set as the equivalent value of the real rope. In order to confirm the established multiple finite element model, various scenarios such as freely falling of towing rope in the air and above the free surface, accelerating of a tug which tows a barge connected by towing rope, and sinusoidal moving of a tug were set up and simulated. As the results, the trajectories of the tug, the barge, and the towing rope showed good tendencies to the ones of real expected situations.

The aim of this paper is to clarify geomorphic features on talus within ${\check{O}}rumkol$ and the origin of ${\check{O}}rumkol$. ${\check{O}}rumkol$ is located in Milyang of Kyungnam province, in South Korea. ${\check{O}}rumkol$ is good area to study talus. because it is characterized by following three geomorphic landscapes : free face surrounding ${\check{O}}rumkol$ ; ${\check{O}}rumkol$ with deep and wide valley floor ; lots of taluses typically developing within ${\check{O}}rumkol$. The main results can be summarized as follows: 1) The origin of ${\check{O}}rumkol$ may be suggested two assumptions : one is that its origin have been resulted from intrusion structure(intrusive rock might capture less resistant rock as tuff) ; the other is that its origin have been resulted from volcanic depression after intrusion or eruption. But these assumptions are not obvious. therefore more geological evidences will be supplemented after this 2) The characteristics of ${\check{O}}rumkol$ talus (1) Pattern ${\check{O}}rumkol$ taluses are tongue-shaped or cone-shaped in appearance. They are $50{\sim}200m$ in length and the range of the maximum width from 25 to 115m and one of their mean slope gradient from 32 to $36^{\circ}$ (2) Origin ${\check{O}}rumkol$ taluses have been formed under periglacial environment in the last glacial age and they are classified into rock fall talus type, considering in conjunction with the shape, hardness, sorting, weathering conditions of constituent debris. (3) The stage of landform development ${\check{O}}rumkol$ talus slope profiles are mainly concave slope. This concave slope type was eventually caused by talus creep at the lower end of the talus. That means new additions of debris from the free face have virtually ceased and there is no evidence of recent motion in the deposit. Now it is predominant that vegetation cover is gradually increasingly. Therefore ${\check{O}}rumkol$ taluses appear to be relict form stage. at present.
Purpose: In hand injury, pedicle is usually damaged by avulsion injury or crushing injury. Because of postoperative pedicle obliteration, it is often hard to save the injured hand and fingers, even after successful replantation. The author introduces three cases of extensive hand injury, and successful results after applicatoin of multiple venous grafts to these patients. Methods: In all cases there was no circulation in any finger. In the first case, some vessels were extracted, so venous graft was applied to two sites of severely damaged venous sites. In the second case, venous grafts were applied to all four digital arteries of all fingers except thumb which got severely crushed, and two sites of dorsal veins. In the third case, venous graft was applied to all four digital arteries of all five fingers, and two sites of dorsal veins and palmar veins each. Results: In all cases, survival of hands and fingers was successful. In the second case, however, amputation in thumb and little finger at DIP joint level was inevitable, because of its severe damage, and the large dorsal defect on index finger was filled with DIEP free flap. Thumb was reconstructed with toe-to-thumb free flap, and additional debulking procedures and contracture release is furtherly needed. In the first case, additional surgery was done, as FDP tendon got re-ruptured, but in long term follow-up, satisfactory range of motion was attained. In the third case, FTSG on dorsal skin region was planned. as flap on dorsal area got partial necrosis. Conclusion: In hand injury, there are many structures to be repaired, but sometimes venous graft is avoided for its long operating time. Even though the length of damaged vessel is enough for anastomosis, the endothelium is often damaged (zone of injury). In extensive hand injury, successful reconstruction would be possible with active venous graft to all vessels suspicious for damage.
