  • The XI World Congress on fertility and sterility was held during 26th June-2nd July 1983, in Dublin, Ireland. The general view and impression of the congress are as follows. Scientific Programme 1. Main sessions were consisted of a keynote speaker 30 minutes with 4 supporting speakers for 20 minutes each, followed by discussion between the panelist and audience. 2. Related communication sessions were consisted of a series of 10 minutes papers and 5 minutes discussion. 3. Workshop sessions had a free wheeling time-table of audience/expert interaction, subjects concerned day to day practicalities of fertility and sterility. 4. Special symposium sessions had contributed from a number of invited experts in a particular field under discussion. 5. National society symposium sessions were organised and ran by fertility societies affiliated to IFFS. 6. Meet-the-authnr poster sessions, Film and Video sessions, Medical and industrial exhibitions are also introduced here. Business Programme 1. The meeting of executive and scientific commitees IFFS were held on June 26th, July 1st, and general assembly on June 28th, and July 1st. 2. Accreditation : IFFS Dublin 83, is recognised for 32 cognates formal learning by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Social Programme 1. Dublin city orientation tour, welcome reception, Opening and closing ceremonies, evening of traditional Irish entertainment, Irish night at Powercourt Town-house Center, the banquet, State reception-(hosted by Minister of Health and Social secretary at Dublin Castle, and by the Lord Mayor of Dublin at National Concert Hall)-are introduced briefly in this paper. 2. The congress tour;, such as Georgian Dublin and shopping tour, Garden of Ireland tour, Boyne Valley tour and Curragh of Kildare tour were prepared during congress. 3. After closing the congress, for some of delegates an opportunity to sample, A taste of Dublin, such as Abbey theater, Abbey tavern and Jury's Cabaret etc were available.

  • The changing media landscape has diversified how and what is discussed about fashion. This study aims to examine expert discussions about fashion shows on social media from the perspective of fashion criticism. To achieve this goal objectively, a text mining program, Leximancer, was used. In total, 58 videos were collected from the panel discussion section of Showstudio from S/S 21 to S/S 24, and the results of text mining on 24,080 collected texts after refinement are detailed here. First, the researchers examined the frequency of keywords by season. This revealed that in 2021-2022, digital transformation, diversity, and fashion films are now commonly used to promote fashion collections, often replacing traditional catwalk shows. From 2023, sustainability and virtuality appeared more frequently, and fashion brands focused on storytelling to communicate seasonal concepts. In S/S 2024, the rise of luxury brand keywords and an increased focus on consumption has been evident. This suggests that it is influenced by social and cultural phenomena. Second, the overall keywords were analyzed and categorized into five concepts: formal descriptions and explanations of the collection's outfits, sociocultural evaluations of fashion shows and designers, assessments of the commerciality and sustainability of the current fashion industry, interpretations of fashion presentations, and discussions of the role of fashion shows in the future. The significance of this study lies in its identification of the specificity of contemporary fashion criticism and its objective approach to critical research.

초점화(Focalization)와 화제화(Topicalization)로 분석한 영어 도치 구문 (The analysis of inversion construction by Focalization and Topicalization)

  • This paper, conducted within the GB framework, investigates inversion phenomena in the functional categories, Focalization Phrases and Topicalization Phrases. The leading idea of this paper is that formal feature checking in these two functional categories is mostly responsible for inversion in which either verb or auxiliary verbs appear in front of subjects and also it will try to find an answer to the following questions: "What are the features that trigger the inversion?" and "Can all the inversion constructions explained by Haegeman's Focalization & Topicalization?" My discussion is largely based on English inversion constructions such as wh-inversion, negative inversion, and adverbial inversion. Also I will show there are some problems in Topicalization and Focalization analysis to explain some inversion constructions and present Rizzi(1999)'s analysis for those problems.

  • This study is searching the characteristics of transferred element in composition of architectural spaces ; it is ultimate goal that frame of reference is arranged system about path of horizontal direction is two-dimension and stairs of vertical in three-dimension as transferred element in Architectural plan. With the exception of stylized discussion or rhetorical analysis about these, it is analysed as element in physical order of a whole architecture in relation to another elements in composition of architecture spaces. And one who is perceptible and cognitive through spaces is the subject. Consequently , these elements are classified concept of location and circulation. And it can't think that the formal is divided the latter for accept behavior of pedestrican and thinking system to consider verticality and time property is absolutely conceptual elements in space of architectural plan.

  • This study deals with 'Sachlichkeit' , as essence of materiality that architectural building materials process, which forms the physical basis for actual building. There have beennu merous researches that deals with various elements that compose architecture, but the emphasis seemed to be concentrated on the meta-physical discussion concerning formal concept. An issue on sachlichkeit as materiality does not necessary mean to mention production process of architecture, rather it is aim of this study to seek possibility to find elements that generate architectural form, through interpreting meaning of materials as substructure generator to make architectural possible. Architectural act can be defined as a process where physical material in life is composed into architecture by the hands of architect. Material used in life is composed into architecture by the hands of architect. Material used in this process basically has neutral characteristic, so 'Sachlichkeit'solely depends on the intentions of architects. This study interprets the intention of architects through the frame of modern-basis proposed by Hilberseimer, and a result architecture is defined as an object projected by architect's subjectivity.

학교 성교육 효과 (The Effectiveness of School Sexuality Education)

  • Over the last several decades, the debates on school sexuality education program have centered on the specific education topics and its in-depth to be taught for different level of students. Many people, on the whole, worried that sexuality education for the adolescents promote irresponsible sexuality activities and that students become more liberal following sex education(in all ways, not just sexually). At the present time, however, most social leaders agree that school sexuality education program should be developed and implemented as an important part of the formal school curriculum. Because they believe that sexuality education programs will be effective to change irresponsible sexual behavior and prevent sexual risk among teenagers. Researches demonstrate that not all school-based sexuality and AIDS education programs are effective, but that some programs are effective. On the basis of previous studies, the present paper reviewed the beliefs and questions which generate discussion and opposition to sexuality education program at the school. The effectiveness of the educational instruction was also evaluated focused on the reducing specific sexual risk behavior and reinforcement of individual values against sexuality activities. Lastly, this paper proposed several ways and means for effective sexuality education program in general.

보조선 지도법 연구 (A Study on Teaching How to Draw Auxiliary Lines in Geometry Proof)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the reasons and backgrounds of drawing auxiliary lines in the proof of geometry. In most of proofs in geometry, drawing auxiliary lines provide important clues, thus they play a key role in deductive proof. However, many student tend to have difficulties of drawing auxiliary lines because there seems to be no general rule to produce auxiliary lines. To alleviate such difficulties, informal activities need to be encouraged prior to draw auxiliary lines in rigorous deductive proof. Informal activities are considered to be contrasting to deductive proof, but at the same time they are connected to deductive proof because each in formal activity can be mathematically represented. For example, the informal activities such as fliping and superimposing can be mathematically translated into bisecting line and congruence. To elaborate this idea, some examples from the middle school mathematics were chosen to corroborate the relation between informal activities and deductive proof. This attempt could be a stepping stone to the discussion of how to teach auxiliary lines and deductive reasoning.

ON SOME GENERALIZATIONS OF THE REVERSIBILITY IN NONUNITAL RINGS

  • This paper is intended as a discussion of some generalizations of the notion of a reversible ring, which may be obtained by the restriction of the zero commutative property from the whole ring to some of its subsets. By the INCZ property we will mean the commutativity of idempotent elements of a ring with its nilpotent elements at zero, and by ICZ property we will mean the commutativity of idempotent elements of a ring at zero. We will prove that the INCZ property is equivalent to the abelianity even for nonunital rings. Thus the INCZ property implies the ICZ property. Under the assumption on the existence of unit, also the ICZ property implies the INCZ property. As we will see, in the case of nonunital rings, there are a few classes of rings separating the class of INCZ rings from the class of ICZ rings. We will prove that the classes of rings, that will be discussed in this note, are closed under extending to the rings of polynomials and formal power series.

  • 최근 IMO에서는 산적화물선 및 유조선, 대형여객선에 이어 '일반화물선의 안전(general cargo ships safety)'에 대한 논의의 필요성이 제기(IMO, 2006a)되고 있으며, 본격적인 논의를 위한 준비 작업으로 국제선급협회(IACS)를 통한 공식안전성평가(Formal Safety Assessment, 이하 FSA) 작업이 수행되고 있다. FSA란 위험도(risk)분석과 비용-효과 평가(cost-benefit assessment)를 바탕으로 인명, 해양환경 및 재산의 보호를 포함한 해사안전의 향상을 목적으로 한 구조화되고 체계적인 방법론으로서 새로운 법규의 평가, 기존법규와 새로운 (제안) 법규와의 비교, 그리고 여러 이해관계자의 공감대 형성을 통해 법규 변경/개발을 용이하게 하는 수단이다(IMO, 2007). 본 연구는 국적일반화물선의 안전성 평가를 위한 수단으로서 IMO FSA방법론의 유용성을 확인하고, 향후 IMO에서의 '일반화물선 안전'에 대한 논의에 대응하기 위한 기초자료의 확보를 목적으로 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 국적일반화물선에 대한 FSA의 1, 2 단계에 해당하는 위험요소 식별(Hazard identification) 및 사고시나리오에 대한 위험도 분석(Risk analysis) 결과를 중심으로 소개하였다.

지적장애인 대상의 성교육 프로그램 현황과 과제 : 디지털 교육콘텐츠를 중심으로 (An Exploratory Study on Digital Contents-based Life-long Sex Education Program for Persons with Mental Retardation)

  • 본 연구에서는 현재 우리나라의 지적장애인 대상의 디지털 성교육 콘텐츠 프로그램과 현황을 살펴보고, 이에 따른 디지털 성교육 콘텐츠 구성에 대한 연령별 제안과 피셔의 성교육에 관한 정보 동기 행동 스킬 모형을 인적자원 개발에서 흔히 논의되는 역량(competency)이라는 개념의 모형을 적용 확장하여 성적역량(sexual competency) 이라는 목표 하에서 모형을 제시해 보았다. 또한 이러한 모형과 현황조사를 바탕으로 적절한 디지털 성교육 프로그램 개발을 위한 과제를 제시해 보았다.
