Purpose: This study attempts to find how the cultural marketing activities utilizing cultural space affect firm's brand image and brand loyalty, and whether this culture marketing technique is recognized as a social contribution activity by potential customers and thereby influence brand image and loyalty. Methods: The data was collected by using the structured questionnaires to consumers who have experience using the Naver Library, Starfield Library, and Hyundai Card Library. The proposed research model is tested using 178 valid questionnaires using Smart PLS 2.0. Results: This research indicated that among cultural marketing factors, cultural support and cultural promotion have little impact on brand image, whereas culture firm influence brand image. Brand image also had an impact on brand loyalty, but it was found that public libraries operated by companies were not recognized as corporate social contribution activities, nor did they have an impact on the formation of the company's brand image. Conclusions: The study offered a theoretical and empirical foundation for future research by empirically identifying the relationship between cultural marketing and brand image and loyalty and confirmed the coordinating effect of social contribution activities between a cultural firm and its brand image.

This study intends to understand the change of the library's bookshelves shape, composition and arrangement based on the social-culture in each period. For this purpose, this study analyzes the morphological shift of the library's bookshelves and knowledge information focused on the history of western libraries from the ancient libraries to the modern public libraries before the 20th century. And the results are follows. 1) We can make sure that the changes of the library's bookshelves are based on the environmental factors like social cultural political factors and also understand that the knowledge information are developed based on the function which is decided by the needs of the times and the serious necessities of users. With this reason, the morphology and the function of the library's bookshelves have been changed. 2) The characters and meanings of the library's bookshelves are changed with the times from movable type to fixed type, from closing type to opening type, from privileged use to public use, from religious contents to general scientific contents. 3) The morphology of the library's bookshelves are shifted from cylindrical box to Chest type Press type and Lectern system, Stall system, Wall system and advanced to Mixed(Stall+Wall) system. 4) The construction and arrangement methods of the library's bookshelves are determined by the convenience and efficiency of the installation for the perusal environments as well as the regarding to the social-cultural factors. The arrangement criteria are determined by the security topics in the earlier stage, after that determined by the lightening topics and nowadays the access topics to the information. These analysis results are very useful to research the technology of the library's bookshelves to be changed continuously and also to forecast the morphology of the library's bookshelves can be planned in the spaces of the future libraries.

The aim of this study is supporting efficient development of library collection and improvement of library service for users by analyzing utilization patterns of library collection using circulation statistics of medical library users. With this purpose, circulation statistics were extracted from 90,420 cases of circulation records in A library for recent 3 years (from 2012 to 2014). Specifically, circulation data categorized according to status and subject, loan data of most popular books and use data of inter-library loan service were collected and analyzed. Subject groups of this study are undergraduate students, graduate students and incumbent hospital employees including faculty members, training members and nondoctor members. For the result, medical library users intensively lent materials of Technology (Applied Sciences), Literature and Social science areas. Especially, the demand of the materials of literature was higher than the demand of the other subject areas compared in the base of collection development.

This study investigated the difficulty of married immigrant women in the use of library with LAS (Library Anxiety Scale). The data were collected by LAS survey with 137 married immigrant women in five public libraries in Gwangju from December 2015 to March 2016. As the results, married immigrant women's average anxiety score was 2.91 points which is comparatively higher than the results of previous studies. The statistical analysis of library anxiety scores with personal factors showed statistically significant result in several factors such as Korean skill, spouse's job, purpose of using library, visiting count of library, distance between home and library, and experience from their homeland. Finally this study proposed several suggestions to reduce married immigrant women's anxiety from library.

This study aimed to analyze the issues on practical training programs at public libraries and propose alternative strategies for them. This study discusses the theoretical bases of providing practical training programs with the recent change in curriculums of library and information studies. It also explores the current status of both practical training program courses offered by the departments of library and information science in Korea, and the operation of programs managed by 42 public libraries. This study categorizes the programs into three types, including basic task type, participatory type, and proactive type, and examines the characteristics of each type. Furthermore, it researches a case of the cooperative public library practice program, which S public library and C University jointly conduct, and analyzes students and librarians' needs who participated in the program. As a result, the study identifies all the parties' challenges and provide a gradual development strategies for the program.

This study aims at analyzing research trends of library management and suggesting future tasks of this area in Korea. This is a study following the previous study which was done in 2014. For this purpose, this study analyzed 323 papers of library management area among the library and information science papers which have been published from 2014 to 2020 at the four academic journals of the National Research Foundation of Korea. As a result, it was found that 46 papers in library management had been produced annually. The amount of papers in library management has increased, compared to 36 papers annually published which were checked at the previous study. The analysis on the research trends of sub-fields of library management showed that high research performance has been done at the sub-fields like 'general management', 'human resource management', 'measurement and evaluation'. However, there has still been less performance in the sub-fields like 'marketing', 'organization management', 'budget management', which was also shown at the previous study.

Construction of focused library of 2-benzylimino-1,3-thiazolines 7 through molecular modification of 3-alkyl-2-phenylimino-1,3-thiazolines 1 which showed selective fungicidal activity against rice blast and their fungitoxic activity against 6 kinds of typical plant diseases was described. Fifty four compounds of focused library of 2-benzylimino-1,3-thiazolines 7 were synthesized from the reaction of the corresponding $\gamma$-chloroacetoacetanilides 6 with N-benzyl thioureas 5 by parallel synthetic methodology. As results of fungicidal screening against the typical plant diseases, twenty eight kinds of 7 at 100 ${\mu}g$ $mL^{-1}$ showed the control value over 50% against tomato late blight.

The study aims at providing enhanced policies of school library opening services. It analyzed various issues on primary school libraries in Gangnam-gu, Seoul which have provided opening services for the last 10years, from 2001 to 2011, in cooperation with the Gang-Nam Gu Council. In theoretical aspect, this study discussed legal grounds, types, strengths and weaknesses of school library opening policies. Furthermore, it conducted a survey and interviewed the primary school librarians and users to explore their understanding about school library opening. As a result, it presented alternative strategies of three aspects; human resource, administrative system and finance for improving school library opening services.

This study focused on library services for patients and carers and conducted an awareness survey on the current status of library services for patients and carers in hospitals in Korea and on future library services for patients and carers. Through this, the ways to activate library services for patients and carers in the hospital were sought. Based on the results of the study, the research team proposes the following measures: First, the legislation for the mandatory establishment of libraries in hospitals and standards for the size, book collection, and manpower of libraries in hospitals should be enacted. Second, cooperation between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Ministry of Health and Welfare is essential to lay the foundation for the mandatory and voluntary establishment of hospital libraries at the national level in the future. Third, the operation of regional representative libraries, public libraries, and other institutions should be considered.

The present study was intended to present desirable directions of project learning of curriculum subjects utilizing school libraries. To this end, lesson contents including theme selection policies and selected themes were grasped centering on Chinese project learning conducted in the school library of S academic high school and examples of students' reports were presented. A questionnaire survey was conducted on 117 high school students in the second year who participated in the Chinese project class to analyze their interest in the themes, their perception of school library-assisted instructional processes and how the school library-assisted Instruction helped the students Also, this study analyzed differences in the perception of the help provided by the school library-assisted Instruction among students in the department of liberal arts, those in the department of natural sciences and those in the department of arts. The results of the study indicated that the students' satisfaction of the school library-assisted Instruction was high.
