  • I had an interview with some unemployed career staffs who had retired and worked for more than twenty years in order to research impacting elements on reemployment for l retired special security government officials. This interview included an officer and a consultant for supporting employment in order to explore compacting elements on retired security government official's reemployment. Looking over analysis results, first, there is a shortage of reemployment opportunities and information. The job applicant's employment requirements are not in accordance with the company's employment conditions. They don't have enough professional experience necessary for employment. There is no positive employment supporting counterplan or vocational education program in the organization. Second, their insight about finding a job is high for the current employment market condition. The reemployment offices have a very difficult task because job applicants prefer a full-time job which offers long term work and guarantees a social position. Third, it is a huge obstacle to undertake going into various enterprises and fields because they don't have the right mind set and enough preparation for reemployment. Moreover, they would prefer to depend on organization employment support rather than getting a new job by themselves when they don't possess other careers' qualifications. Finally, they know that social networks and personal connections are extremely important in obtaining vocations, but actually have poor social networks and few personal connections. Accordingly, Their organization and related persons need to reflect on analysis results about impacting elements on reemployment for retired special security government officials.

This data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, the ANOVA test, hierarchical regression analysis, and factors analyzed by SPSS window's 12.0. The results are as follows. The major aspirations of female students at the college of engineering are affected by the grades (GPA) they have achieved in the past and by the professors' support they have received from the educational environment, by the WIE program participation. However, this survey showed that the support of professors was the most influential factor. The self-efficacy about employment is affected by the grades (GPA) they have achieved and the professors' support they have received. • This research work aims to investigate the role of FDI in Economic Development by assessing its relationship with GDP per capita in Vietnam +5 from 1986-2020. Through descriptive statistical, correlation matrix analysis, and econometric models, including Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) and Feasible Generalized Least Squares (FGLS) estimation methods using Stata 15.1. The VECM estimation method results show that FDI positively impacts Economic Development in the short run while not finding a long-run relationship. In addition, it is found that a clear relationship between Exports and Economic Development in both the short run and the long run. Meanwhile, CO2 emissions and Employment Opportunities have no clear relationship with Economic Development in the short run. However, the relationship is reversed in the long run, as the empirical study in Vietnam. The results of the FGLS estimation method show that FDI, CO2 emissions, and Exports have a significant and positive impact on Economic Development in five selected Southeast Asian countries without Employment Opportunities in the long run. From these findings, the author proposes some policy implications of attaching FDI to sustainable Economic Development in Vietnam next time.

  • Although women's economic participation has been increasing in Korea, the utilization of educated women's labor is still low. Therefore, vocational training programs for women are both important and necessary. This study examines the vocational training programs for women offered by the three largest vocational training centers in Jeju: the Woman Resources Development Center, the Jeju Women's Development Center, and the Seogwipo City Women's Cultural Center. This study also analyzes the students' satisfaction with these vocational training programs and identifies the related variables that cause differences in their levels of satisfaction. The sample includes 397 respondents who were surveyed from June 23 to September 12, 2008. Moreover, the data are analyzed by conducting a one-way ANOVA, t-test, and Duncan's Multiple Range(DMR)test. The major results of the study are as follows. First, the vocational training programs in Jeju consist of lectures that cover various subjects. The programs mainly focus on work that offers relatively low wages and requires few skills, and the duration of the programs is short. Second, the original goal of the programs does not meet the needs of women who are seeking employment. The participants respond that they want more appropriate programs that are designed by considering their need for employment, support them in finding a job, and re-educate them. Third, most of the participants are satisfied with their vocational training experiences, and their satisfaction with the instructors is especially high. The differences in their levels of satisfaction are caused by economic characteristics such as the location of the student's residence, home ownership, and the level of life. The results of this study suggest that there is a need to separate vocational/employment training from general education for women. Moreover, the vocational training programs for women should be more specialized according to the different needs of each group.

  • This study was conducted to help develop women's human resources and promote married women's return to workforce. Using various data, we examined the patterns of Korean women's economic activities over the lifecycle, career discontinuation and return to the workforce. We also interviewed twenty full-time housewives who wanted to return to workforce. The interview questions included reasons for seeking employment, desired working conditions, and difficulties in finding a job. Major findings are as follows: First, there were two groups with respect to reasons why they want employment One was an economic need such as earning basic living expenses and supporting the family. The other was self-realization and social participation. Second most women wanted to do unskilled labor such as housekeeping work, whereas some young or well-educated women looked for a professional job. Third, married women preferred part-time jobs, which were compatible with their family care demands. Most of them wanted a workplace located close to home. The women with child-care responsibility preferred working at home. Fourth, regarding difficulties of returning to workforce, they pointed out vocational ability problems due to their career discontinuation, social prejudice such as gender discrimination and psychological pressure in maintaining work and family at the same time. In order to promote employment of married women, it is required not only to change social prejudices but also to increase effectiveness in policy implementation. In addition, counseling for job-search and vocational ability training programs should be provide.

  • The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the restaurant business adversely. The restaurant business is essential for Thailand's economy as it generates high income and a high employment rate. This study aimed to determine the relationships between restaurant businesses. Furthermore, it examined the problems encountered during COVID-19 and measures already implemented and planned. The research is intended to resolve these issues. We collected data from 136 people who worked in restaurants in Bangkok, Thailand, via telephone interviews. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics and correspondence analysis using SPSS. The findings of this analysis indicate that all restaurants, irrespective of their size, face problems, though their planned and remedial actions are different. One finding was that medium restaurants face more financial problems and increased costs than others. They are countering this challenge through measures such as applying for loans and transitioning into a "non-restaurant" business. Nevertheless, typical medium restaurants have not engaged in extensive planning for the future. Based on a fact-finding survey, we considered appropriate short- and long-term measures suitable for micro, small and medium restaurants. In addition, our study's findings will help policymakers and practitioners identify strategies for responding to the COVID-19 outbreak and other future crises.

The satisfaction of major show difference (t = 4.548 p = .000) by sex, also the adaptation of major show difference (t = 2.279, p = .023) by sex. The satisfaction of major show first grade students higher (F = 3.605, p = .013) than fourth grade students at four-year colleges. If satisfaction of major is high, accumulation evaluation score is high (F = 3.276, p = .011), too. Clinical practice experienced students was higher (t = -2.878, p = .004) than non experienced it satisfaction. In view of occupation, ideal job's factors and actual job's factors a lot of students selected 'aptitude'.
