This study was conducted to acquire the basic materials for effective field training to identify performance activities of emergency medical technology students. The method used in the study was a descriptive survey using a skill checklist. The subjects for the study were 43 emergency medical technology students who were 2nd grade in D college. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS computer program, yielding frequencies and percentage. The results of study were as follows; 1. In 'emergency treatment skill', 26.6% of subjects are revealed as 'performed' in 'ambulance practice' and 22.1% of subjects are revealed as 'performed' in 'clinical practice'. 2. In 'airway management', 41.9% of subjects are revealed as 'performed' in 'ambulance practice' and 14.1% of subjects are revealed as 'performed' in 'clinical practice'. 3. In 'oxygen therapy', 52.8% of subjects are revealed as 'performed' in 'ambulance practice' and 35.6% of subjects are revealed as 'performed' in 'clinical practice'. 4. In 'ventilation skill', 17.8% of subjects are revealed as 'performed' in 'ambulance practice' and 10.7% of subjects are revealed as 'performed' in 'clinical practice'. 5. In 'vital sign check', 61.1% of subjects are revealed as 'performed' in 'ambulance practice' and 56.3% of subjects are revealed as 'performed' in 'clinical practice'. 6. In 'patient assessment', 40.7% of subjects are revealed as 'performed' in 'ambulance practice' and 20.0% of subjects are revealed as 'performed' in 'clinical practice'. 7. In 'basic life support(CPR)', 1.7% of subjects are revealed as 'performed' in 'ambulance practice' and 11.9% of subjects are revealed as 'performed' in 'clinical practice'. 8. In 'airway obstruction', 6.4% of subjects are revealed as 'performed' in 'ambulance practice' and 1.1% of subjects are revealed as 'performed' in 'clinical practice'. 9. In 'electrical therapy', 0.7% of subjects are revealed as 'performed' in 'ambulance practice' and 20.0% of subjects are revealed as 'performed' in 'clinical practice'.
Smart textile industries have been precipitously developed and extended to electronic textiles and wearable devices in recent years. In particular, owing to an increasingly aging society, the elderly healthcare field has been highlighted in the smart device industries, and pressure sensors can be utilized in various elderly healthcare products such as flooring, mattress, and vital-sign measuring devices. Furthermore, elderly healthcare products need to be more lightweight and flexible. To fulfill those needs, textile-based pressure sensors is considered to be an attractive solution. In this research, to apply a textile to the second layer using a pressure sensing device, a novel type of conductive textile was fabricated using vapor phase polymerization of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT). Vapor phase polymerization is suitable for preparing the conductive textile because the reaction can be controlled simply under various conditions and does not need high-temperature processing. The morphology of the obtained PEDOT-conductive textile was observed through the Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM). Moreover, the resistance was measured using an ohmmeter and was confirmed to be adjustable to various resistance ranges depending on the concentration of the oxidant solution and polymerization conditions. A 3-layer 81-point multi-pressure sensor was fabricated using the PEDOT-conductive textile prepared herein. A 3D-viewer program was developed to evaluate the sensitivity and multi-pressure recognition of the textile-based multi-pressure sensor. Finally, we confirmed the possibility that PEDOT-conductive textiles could be utilized by pressure sensors.
The importance of Industrial Security is continuously growing along with the rapid development of convergence technologies. Accordingly, it is expected for the gap between the supply and demand of industrial security professional personnel to grow every year. In order to reduce the supply and demand of industrial security, it is important to not only train professional qualifications but at the same time, secure a professional qualification acquisitor. In this regard, South Korea has introduced the Industrial Security Expert qualification as a non-governmental qualifications ince 2010. From 2017, promoted as nation-certified qualification and has supported activities as expert in industrials ecurity field. However, it is reality that Industrial Security Expert qualification has not yet to be recognized as professional qualification in the field of industry, have low rate of utilization as academic research is also shown the sign of stagnation. Based on these background, this research set goal in deducing a activation method for industrial security professional qualification concentrating on Industrial Security Expert qualification. The analysis on operation condition of Industrial Security Expert qualification and related precedent research was conducted and raised four types of activation method, which are organizational aspect, certification system improvement and operation aspect, certification acquisitors' utilization aspect and professionalism enhancement aspect.

Background: Carcinoma of the tongue is the most common intra-oral malignancy in Western countries. Incidence and mortality rates have increased in recent years, and survival has not improved. This study aimed to determine etiologic factors for tongue cancer with age-sex matched case-control data. Materials and Methods: 47 patients with carcinoma of the tongue referred to our oral medicine clinic between years 2005-2006 were analyzed and compared with control group data. The medical records, including family history of cancer, dental trauma, and history of abuse of alcohol and tobacco products was recorded for all subjects. Chi square comparison tests and linear regression analysis were performed using the SPSS program for statistics. Results: Patient and randomly selected control groups each consisted of 30 male and 17 female subjects with mean ages 53.2 (${\pm}12.6$) and 52.6 (${\pm}11.5$) years respectively. Smoking and alcohol abuse proportions were significantly higher in the patient group (p=0.0001, p<0.0001 respectively). Chronic mechanical trauma was observed in 44.7% of the patients and 17.0% of the control group (p=0.004). Similarly, family history of cancer of any type (for the first degree relatives) was found to be more common in the patient group (p=0.009). On regression analysis, alcohol abuse, family history of cancer, smoking, chronic mechanical traumas appeared as significant etiologic factors (p=0.0001). Conclusions: We believe that field cancerization may become evident in oral and oropharyngeal mucosa with multiple steps of molecular changes starting from the first sign of dysplasia with chronic exposure to etiological factors. Chronic trauma cases need particular attention to search for very early signs of cancer.
Increased internet use under a ubiquitous environment may be called as a great human information space revolution followed by Industrial Revolution. This revolution is exerting its significant influence over all the industry as a whole with speed faster than that of any other times. Along with this trend, if furniture design field that leads living culture should fail to jump on this main stream without noticing it, it may be reduced to a unpopular field some day without any sign of recovery. Under this background, this study is intended to recognize a goal aiming at understanding our rapidly changing living environment and leading our way positively. Currently, our surrounding living environment is immersed in computers here and there and Mark Weiser once defined a system that moves in advance before an action as ubiquitous computing and in this respect, I am going to observe a detailed transformation process of space. First nature of the space may be defined as atoms, a physical space equivalent to a spatial element and Bits space that is untouchable is usually called as 2nd space and a combination of atoms and Bits is an intelligent space - 3rd space - that can be intelligible without touching it and finally, this space is called as a ubiquitous space. This spatial transformation is developed by several changes of living environment and we may call it as living trend or interior design trend. Transformation in terms of social perspective, space structural perspective and digital technique perspective may be enumerated. These transformations were surveyed based on its contents being implemented at a future housing exhibition hosted by 5 construction companies along with fusion of information furniture and furniture depending on each housing space. In conclusion, it could be realized that most of the companies were decorating future space by implementing ubiquitous environment as a success factor of future housing market. It may be meaningful to note once again that under an interior environment, a fusion of furniture and information furniture is required considering interior trend elements.

This study investigated librarians' perception and preference of cultural programs in the field of cooperation between school and public libraries. The findings are as follows: 1) Librarians and teacher librarians at school and public libraries perceive the importance of cultural programs in library service. 2) Online space was mostly preferred as a means of PR activities by librarians and teacher librarians at school and public libraries. 3) The preferred methods to cooperate projects between school libraries and public libraries were to implement programs through public librarians' field visiting, and to participate linkage program customized to individual school libraries. 4) Preferred types of cooperation were to sign MOU and to make a cooperative system between school libraries and public libraries.
Rear collisions to expressway work trucks result many casualties these days. But, currently, no special measure are being taken except deploying sign trucks behind the working trucks. In the U.S and Europe, trucks with TMA(Truck Mounted Attenuator) are being deployed behind the working truck, which is regarded as the standard method for work area safety, thereby reducing the fatality rates and property damage tremendously. Also, standard for the performance of TMA are established and TMA can be used in the field only when it satisfies the standard. In Korea, neither the standard for nor any guide to the TMA exists. In the situation some manufacturer developed TMA without proper performance evaluation and marketed limited number of TMAs in the field. In the study, NCHRP350, which is the performance standard of expressway safety features of U.S. and materials related to the TMA standard in Europe have been reviewed to establish the Korean performance criteria. Based on the review, and incorporating existing Korean standard for crash cushions, domestic standard for TMA has been proposed and applied in developing Korean TMA and crash tested it to verify the performance. The original design developed was crash tested and modified. The newly proposed design was studied using impact simulation program several times. Modifications were made after each simulation and prototype was built and crash tested as per the newly established TMA performance criteria.

In this paper, we revisit a generally accepted opinion: implementing Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem (ECC) over GF$(2^m)$ on sensor motes using small word size is not appropriate because partial XOR multiplication over GF$(2^m)$ is not efficiently supported by current low-powered microprocessors. Although there are some implementations over GF$(2^m)$ on sensor motes, their performances are not satisfactory enough due to the redundant memory accesses that result in inefficient field multiplication and reduction. Therefore, we propose some techniques for reducing unnecessary memory access instructions. With the proposed strategies, the running time of field multiplication and reduction over GF$(2^{163})$ can be decreased by 21.1% and 24.7%, respectively. These savings noticeably decrease execution times spent in Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA) operations (Signing and verification) by around $15{\sim}19%$.

Objectives : This study investigated warning signs and stroke presymptoms and their relationship with acute stroke patients in each stroke type. Methods : 217 patients with first-ever acute stroke within 2 weeks as the case group, 146 people without four major risk factors (hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia and ischemic heart disease) as the healthy control group (Normals), and 160 people as the general control group (Controls) were recruited at the Stroke Medical Center in Daejeon University Oriental Medicine Hospital from July 2005 to March 2007 for this case-control study. We analyzed the odds ratio of each warning sign or presymptom by multivariate logistic analysis and evaluated each stroke type, as well as general characteristics such as age, sex, etc. Results : Paralysis or weakness of the face and limbs, visual field disorder or loss of vision or blurred and double vision in eyes or both eyes, and sudden difficulty in speaking or dysarthria showed significant increase respectively in each stroke type. In contrast, numbness or tingling sensation or lowering sensation of the face and limbs, numbness or dead sensation of 1st and 2nd fingers, tension at cervical lesion, blepharospasm, facial spasm, etc. had no significant relation with stroke occurrence. Conclusions : In this study we demonstrated that each presymptom have an influence on each stroke type and have different odds ratio for stroke. We believe this may contribute to interpreting the importance of warning signs or presymptoms for each type of stroke, and more prospective studies are needed.
According to introduction of Well-Being lifestyle and ageing society, vital sign monitoring system which can be continued measurement of vital sign has been increased their important in field of the healthcare. Under this trend, Respiration monitoring system has been studied and developed in a various way to apply continued monitoring and non-conscious monitoring system. But, Study of the respiration monitoring system based on consumer needs and usability test is insufficient. In this study, Textile capacitive pressure sensor(TCPS) of belt type was developed and tested it's utility and subjective sensibility. TCPS measures respiration signals and can be derived in real time monitoring. As a result, monitoring respiration using textile capacitive pressure sensor offers a promising possibility of convenient measurement of respiration rate (correlation (r=0.9553, p<0.0001). In the result of usability and wearability test, all of categorizes(perceived change, wearability, movement, facility of management, usefulness) were received favorable evaluation on usability test( mean value : 3.8), and suitable location of TCPS in the clothing is deriven on the abdomen part. According to synthetical results, Basic smart clothing design based on respiration monitoring system is proposed.
