강점기반 집단상담 프로그램이 보호관찰 청소년의 자아존중감과 진로성숙에 미치는 영향 (Effect of the Strengths-Based Group Counseling Program of Self-esteem and Career Maturity of Adolescents on Probation)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 강점기반 집단상담 프로그램이 보호관찰 청소년의 자아존중감과 진로성숙에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 G광역시 보호관찰 여자청소년을 대상으로 실험집단과 통제집단으로 각각 15명씩 배치하였다. 본 연구결과 강점기반 집단상담 프로그램은 보호관찰 청소년의 자아존중감 영역가운데 일반적, 사회적 자아존중감 향상에서는 긍정적인 효과가 있었지만, 가정적 자아존중감 향상에는 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지 못했다. 이는 보호관찰 청소년들의 가정적 자아존중감 향상을 위해서는 가정 환경적 개입을 통해 부모와의 긍정적인 관계 회복, 가족기능의 회복을 도와야 한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 강점기반 집단상담 프로그램이 보호관찰 청소년의 진로성숙 영역 가운데 계획성, 자기이해, 직업지식, 진로준비 영역에서는 긍정적인 효과를 보였지만, 독립성 영역에서는 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치지 못했다. 보호관찰 청소년들이 스스로 자신의 진로에 대해서 관심을 갖고 준비하는 독립성을 향상시키기 위해서는 가정과 사회가 더욱더 관심을 갖고 진로지도에 대해 구체적인 지원을 해야 된다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이와 같은 연구결과는 강점기반 집단상담 프로그램이 보호관찰 청소년의 자아존중감과 진로성숙 향상에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 앞으로 보호관찰 청소년들이 자신과 타인을 존중할 줄 알며, 자신의 진로에 대해 구체적으로 계획을 세우고, 책임감 있게 행동할 수 있는 성숙한 인간으로 성장하도록 돕기 위해서는 더욱더 강점기반 집단상담 프로그램에 대한 연구가 필요하며, 대학생 멘토들을 활용해서 보호관찰 청소년들을 도울 수 있는 다양한 방안들을 모색해야 할 것이다.

낭만적 애착과 자아존중감 및 사랑유형의 관계 (Romantic Attachment, Self-esteem and Love Attitudes)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship among romantic attachment, self-esteem, and love attitudes as perceived by college students(male:149, female:202) in the Seoul and Gyeonggi areas. All respondents submitted their answers on a self-report questionnaire. The measurement instruments were Brennan, Clark, & Shaver'(1998) 'Multi-item Measure of Adult Romantic Attachment', Rosenberg'(1979) Self-esteem Scale, and Hendrick, Hendrick, & Dicke'(1998) 'Love Attitudes Scale'. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-tests, Pearson's correlations, and multiple regressions. Major results of this study were as follows: (a) In romantic attachment and self-esteem, sex was not a significant factor. In the love attitudes, sex was significant, and men showed higher levels of Eros and Agape than women. Women showed higher levels of Plasma than men. (b) Romantic attachment(avoidance and anxiety dimensions) were negatively correlated to self-esteem. (c) The avoidance dimension of romantic attachment was negatively correlated to Eros, Mania, and Agape and positively Ludus. The anxiety dimension of romantic attachment was positively correlated to Ludus, Plasma, Mania, and Agape. (d) Self-esteem was negatively correlated to Mania and positively correlated to Eros and Pragma.

고위험 신생아 어머니의 상황의미와 모성자존감 (Situational Meaning and Maternal Self-esteem in Mothers with High Risk Newborn)

  • Purpose: This study was designed to explore the relationship of situational meaning with maternal self-esteem in mothers with high risk newborn. Method: The subjects of this study were 82 mothers with high risk newborn. Data were collected using a translated Family Meaning Attribution Scale and Maternal Self-Report Inventory. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, Pearson Correlation Coefficients and Stepwise Multiple Regression. Result: The average score of the situational meaning in high risk newborn mothers was 64.0l(possible score is between 0-96) and the average score of each item was 1.98. The average score of the maternal self-esteem in high risk newborn mothers was 81.96(possible score is between 26-104) and the average score of each item was 3.15. No significant differences were found in situational meaning according to general characteristics except whether it was a planned pregnancy or not. No significant differences were found in maternal self-esteem according to general characteristics except disease or admission experience during pregnancy. There was significant positive correlation between situational meaning and maternal self-esteem. Conclusion: It is necessary for nurses to provide high risk newborn mothers with care for improving situational meaning that is attributed to the mothers. It can be helpful to improve maternal self-esteem and in the end it will facilitate the maternal transition in mothers with high risk newborn.

청소년의 학대경험이 자살에 미치는 영향 - 정책적 시사점 도출을 중심으로 - (The Influence of Adolescence Abuse Experience to Suicide : Focusing on Policy Implications)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 학대경험, 자아존중감, 가족탄력성, 자살의 관계에서 가족탄력성의 조절효과 검증으로 학대경험 청소년의 자살예방을 위한 가족탄력성 향상에 대한 정책적 시사점을 도출하는데 있다. 전남 지역의 세 개 군의 중 고등학교에 재학 중인 학생 600명의 설문지 중 불성실하게 응답한 설문지 53부를 제외한 총 547명의 연구를 수행하였다. 척도는 Murray A. Straus (1979)의 아동학대, Beck, Kovacs & Weissmen(1979)의 자살, Coopersmith(1967)의 자아존중감, Boehm (2007)의 가족탄력성 이다. 자료분석은 기술통계, 상관관계, ANOVA, 회귀분석을 사용하였다. 연구 결과는 첫째, 학대경험 청소년은 54.2%, 학대유형에 따른 자살빈도는 신체적 학대의 경우가 많았다. 둘째, 회귀분석 결과 학대경험이 자살에 직접적인 정적 영향으로 학대경험이 높을수록 자살도 높은 것으로 나타났으며 또한 학대경험은 자아존중감을 통해 자살에 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 자아존중감의 매개효과가 검증되었다. 셋째, 가족탄력성은 학대경험이 자살에 미치는 부적 영향과 높은 자존감이 자살에 미치는 부적 영향으로 조절효과가 검증되었다.

가정폭력을 경험한 아동의 자아존중감 향상을 위한 통합예술치료의 효과성 연구 (A Study on the Effects of Integrated Art Therapy to Improve the Self-Esteem of the Children who Experienced Domestic Violence)

  • 본 연구에서는 통합예술치료가 가정폭력을 경험한 아동의 자아존중감에 미치는 영향의 효과성을 검증해 보는 것이며, 효과성이 있는지를 알아보기 위해 양적연구로는 비모수 통계를 사용하여 자아존중감(Self-esteem)의 차이 검증을 하였다. 질적연구로는 동적가족화, 문장완성검사, 프로그램 보고서, 피드백 일지, 연구자와 보조치료사의 관찰일지를 이용하여 내면을 이해하도록 하였다. 본 연구는 전라북도내 I시에 소재한 I초등학생 49명을 대상으로 실시하였으며, 프로그램 실시 후 총체적 자아존중감 사회적 자아존중감 가정적 자아존중감 학교적 자아존중감이 유의하게 높아진 것으로 나타났다. 또한 통합예술치료는 자신에 대한 일반적인 인식, 구체적 인식을 증진시켜 총체적 자아존중감, 사회적 자아존중감, 가정적 자아존중감, 학교적 자아존중감 향상에 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, 가정폭력을 경험한 아동의 자아존중감을 향상시키고, 또래관계와 대인 관계 개선을 위해 통합예술치료를 향후 학교나 기관에서 실시한다면 사회적 비용절감과 거리감을 좁혀 나갈 수 있을 것이다.

아버지의 양육참여 실태 및 청소년의 자아존중감에 대한 아버지 양육참여의 영향 (The Effect of Paternal Involvement on the Self-Esteem in Early Adolescence)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the paternal involvement tendency and its effect on adolescent's self-esteem for boys and girls. Subjects were 607 1st and 2nd grade middle school students in Busan. The data were analyzed by t-test, one-way Anova, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression analysis. The results were as follows. The scores on paternal involvement were influenced by the amount of time spent with parents, 5days work a week of father, flexibility of leaving work-time of mother, regularity of holiday work of mother as well as adolescents' and fathers' sociodemographic characteristic. For boys, self-esteem was influenced by all sub-scales of paternal involvement : the leisure-life, proffering information, academic support, eveηday life, material support, discipline, and tradition-inheritance. For girls, self-esteem was influenced by leisure-life, proffering information, academic support, everyday life, and material supports.

  • This study examined the effect of father's marital communication, self-esteem, and social support on 7 paternal involvement factors : leisure-life, proffering information, discipline, academic support, tradition-inheritance, material support, and everyday life. Instruments were the Korean Scale of Paternal Involvement (Kim, 2005), Marital Communication Scale (Olson, et al, 1987), Self-Esteem Scale (Rosenberg, 1965), and the Social-Support Scale constructed by the researcher. Subjects were 248 8th grade students and their fathers in Busan. Results showed that marital communication positively influenced degree of father's discipline and tradition-inheritance; father's self-esteem positively influenced degree of father's material support; father's social support positively influenced degree of father' leisure-life, proffering information, academic support, and everyday life of their adolescent children.

  • This study aimed to examine the effects of demographic variables, stress, appearance management behavior, and family environment on self-esteem with the subjects of high school students with serious stress and great interest in appearance among the adolescences. This research was conducted during June, 2012, and the research method employed was the questionnaire. The questionnaire consisted of the contents about self-esteem, stress, appearance management behavior, and demographical variables. Regarding the adolescents' stress, generally, influential variables include relationship with parents and friends, school records, or school life satisfaction. And the adolescences' self-esteem was the crucial variable to indicated socio-psychological adaptation. And it was related with stress or appearance management behavior.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate university students' motivation for parenthood related to their definition of parenthood, empathy and self-esteem. Participants were 447 junior and senior students(male 263, female 184) in 5 universities throughout Korea. Results were : (1) Male students and employed mothers were higher than female students and unemployed mothers' 'motivation for strengthening biological family ties' but there were reversed results in 'motivation for traditional norms.' Students majoring in home economics showed the highest score in 'altruistic-emotional motivation.' (2) There were positive correlations between motivation for parenthood and definition of parenthood and empathy. 'Motivation for traditional norms' correlated positively with self-esteem. (3) Motivations for parenthood were explained by about 4~28% by their definition of parenthood, empathy, and self-esteem.

지역대학 대학생의 자아존중감이 대학생활 적응에 미치는 영향 - 사회적 지지의 조절효과 - (Self-Esteem Influencing College Students' Adjustment - Moderating Effects on Social Support -)

  • Self-esteem and social supports are important variable influencing adjustment to college life. The study aims to identify the factors influencing college students' adjustment moderating effects on social supports. Data were collected from 265 usable questionnaires among college students in Pyeongtek University. Results of a factor analysis yielded three dimensions of self-esteem which were talent/attitude and capacity/pride. And results of factor analysis also yielded three dimensions of social supports which were family, friends, and professor supports. Hierarchical regression analysis revealed that capacity/pride and all of social support factors affected significantly for adjustment to college life. And female and attitude for students' major had a positive affect on adjustment to college life. It was suggested that self-esteem, social supports, and aptitude for students' major should be considered in college management policy.
