  • In the paper, we obtain the existence of positive solutions and establish a corresponding iterative scheme for BVPs $$\{^{\;(\phi_p(u'))'\;+\;q(t)f(t,u)=0,\;0\;<\;t\;<\;1,}_{\;u(0)\;-\;B(u'({\eta}))\;=\;0,\;u'(1)\;=\;0}$$ and $$\{^{\;(\phi_p(u'))'\;+\;q(t)f(t,u)=0,\;0\;<\;t\;<\;1,}_{\;u'(0)\;=\;0,\;u(1)+B(u'(\eta))\;=\;0.}$$. The main tool is the monotone iterative technique. Here, the coefficient q(t) may be singular at t = 0, 1.

  • In the current manuscript, we investigate the pointwise convergence of the singular integral operators involving power nonlinearity given in the following form: $$T_{\lambda}(f;x)={\int_a^b}{\sum^n_{m=1}}f^m(t)K_{{\lambda},m}(x,t)dt,\;{\lambda}{\in}{\Lambda},\;x{\in}(a,b)$$, where ${\Lambda}$ is an index set consisting of the non-negative real numbers, and $n{\geq}1$ is a finite natural number, at ${\mu}$-generalized Lebesgue points of integrable function $f{\in}L_1(a,b)$. Here, $f^m$ denotes m-th power of the function f and (a, b) stands for arbitrary bounded interval in ${\mathbb{R}}$ or ${\mathbb{R}}$ itself. We also handled the indicated problem under the assumption $f{\in}L_1({\mathbb{R}})$.

  • Let [n] = {1, 2, …, n} and 2[n] be the set of all subsets of [n]. For a family 𝓕 ⊆ 2[n], its diversity, denoted by div(𝓕), is defined to be $$div(\mathcal{F})=\min_{x{\in}[n]}\{{\mid}{\mathcal{F}}(\bar{x}){\mid}\}$$, where ${\mathcal{F}}(\bar{x})=\{F{\in}{\mathcal{F}}:x{\not\in}F\}$. Basically, div(𝓕) measures how far 𝓕 is from a trivial intersecting family, which is called a star. In this paper, we consider a generalization of diversity for t-intersecting family.

  • In this paper, direct tensile strength, $f_t$, and FR index, $F_i$, were considered, and factor ${\alpha}$ between and $f_t$ and $\sqrt{f'_c}$ was estimated through the results of preceding studies on the material properties of SHCCs in order to propose equation for evaluating shear strength of SHCC walls. Shear strength calculated by the proposed equation predicted shear strength of SHCC walls accurately, showing similar tendencies to experimental results.

  • In this note we prove that if A and $B^*$ are subnormal operators and is a bounded linear operator such that AX - XB is a Hilbert-Schmidt operator, then f(A)X - Xf(B) is also a Hilbert-Schmidt operator and $${\parallel}f(A)X\;-\;Xf(B){\parallel}_2\;\leq\;L{\parallel}AX\;-\;XB{\parallel}_2$$, for f belonging to a certain class of functions. Furthermore, we investigate the similar problem in the case that S, T are hyponormal operators and $X\;{\in}\;\cal{L}(\cal{H})$ is such that SX - XT belongs to a norm ideal (J, ${\parallel}\;{\cdot}\;{\parallel}_J$) and prove that f(S)X - Xf(T) $\in$ J and ${\parallel}f(S)X\;-\;Xf(T){\parallel}_J\;\leq\;C{\parallel}SX\;-\;XT{\parallel}_J$, for f in a certain class of functions.

Morse 함수는 임계점(critical point)들이 모두 비퇴화(non-degenerate)인 실가함수이다. 만약 함수 f가 Morse 함수이고, 임의의 점 $x \in M$에서 $\gamma_x$는 x를 통과하는 흐름(flow)이면 $$ (*) \frac{d\gamma_x(t)}{dt} + \bigtriangledown_{\gamma x(t)}(f) = 0 $$ 이다. 여기서 $\bigtriangledown(f)$는 함수 f에 의해서 정의되는 기울기 벡터장이고 초기조건 $\gamma_x(0) = x$ 이다.

  • The bivoltine tropical tasar ecoraces of Antheraea mylitta Drury produces cocoons for seed production under seed crop rearing (July-August with $22{\sim}30^{\circ}C$ temperature and 50~70% relative humidity) and for silk production under commercial crop rearing (September-December with $17{\sim}27^{\circ}C$ temperature and 60~80% relative humidity). To consider the impact of hybrid vigour on egg, larva, cocoon and silk related commercial traits, the $F_1$ hybrids made among Daba, Jata and Raily ecoraces were assessed successively for three years. The hybrid vigour in the $F_1$ hybrid of Daba$\times$Jata ($T_7$) was positive for egg fertility (+23.1%), shell weight (+25.6%), silk yield (+79.0%) and filament length (+68.1%), with filament of high denier (11.98d) and reduced larval span (-7.1%). The Jata$\times$Daba ($T_8$) hybrid has shown negative heterosis in egg fertility (-8.0%) compared to the other F1 hybrids, Daba$\times$Raily ($T_9$) and Raily$\times$Daba ($T_{10}$), when they rise simultaneously during the commercial crop season. The better performance of parental ecoraces ($T_4$ to $T_6$) in their commercial traits during commercial crop over parents of seed crop ($T_1$ to $T_3$) and the superior performance of $F_1$ hybrids ($T_7$ to $T_{10}$) over parents of commercial crop ($T_4$ to $T_6$) during commercial crop season indicates the apparent hybrid vigour in tasar $F_1$ hybrids. As the Daba$\times$Jata ($T_7$) and Jata$\times$Daba ($T_8$) $F_1$ hybrids have shown highest hybrid vigour, their rearing during commercial crop can optimize the silk productivity and commercial sustenance of the tasar silk industry.

  • The purpose of this study is to know the change of brain wave with stress by SUKI pressure alternative therapy. The experiment group was 12 students(male 6/female 6) with complained upper trapezius pain. Calculated the brain wave before and after stimulate the upper trapezius trigger point by SUKI and the stimulate time was 3min each persons(FP2, F3, F4, FP1, T3, T4, P3, P4). the experimet periods was 5times in a weeks with EEG(QEEG-S). The Date collecting used by Telescan(LXE5209). All the data was analyzed with SPSS 22.0 for window program. To compare the differences before and after the point pressure method, a corresponding sample of t-test was performed, and the statistical significance level was p<.05. The results was followed. The points of Fp2, F3, F4(*p<0.049, *p<0.042, *p<0.019) of EEG was showed a significant differences but Fp1, T3, T4, P3, P4 points did not showed. The SUKI alternative medicine techniques had a reduced effects for the some kind of brain stress. It is need to continuous research in the future.

  • The concept of Internet of Things (IoT) has been increasingly popular these days, and its areas of application have been broadened. However, if the data stored in an IoT system is damaged and cannot be recovered, our society would suffer considerable damages and chaos. Thus far, most of the studies on fault-tolerance have been focused on computer systems, and there has not been much research on fault-tolerance for IoT systems. In this study, therefore, a fault-tolerance method in IoT environments is proposed. In other words, based on the EVENODD method, one of the traditional fault-tolerance methods, a fault-tolerance storage and recovery method for the data stored in the IoT server is proposed, and the method is implemented on an oneM2M IoT system. The fault-tolerance method proposed in this paper consists of two phases - fault-tolerant data storage and recovery. In the fault-tolerant data storage phase, some F-T gateways are designated and fault-tolerant data are distributed in the F-T gateways' storage using the EVENODD method. In the fault-tolerant recovery phase, the IoT server initiates the recovery procedure after it receives fault-tolerant data from non-faulty F-T gateways. In other words, an EVENODD array is reconstructed and received data are merged to obtain the original data.
