There are several kinds of fuzzy set extensions in the fuzzy set theory. Among them, this paper is concerned with interval-valued fuzzy sets, intuitionistic fuzzy sets, and bipolar-valued fuzzy sets. In interval-valued fuzzy sets, membership degrees are represented by an interval value that reflects the uncertainty in assigning membership degrees. In intuitionistic sets, membership degrees are described with a pair of a membership degree and a nonmembership degree. In bipolar-valued fuzzy sets, membership degrees are specified by the satisfaction degrees to a constraint and its counter-constraint. This paper investigates the similarities and differences among these fuzzy set representations.

본 논문은 다중 전송 비-블록킹 다단계 네트워크구성에 관한 방안을 검토하고 네트워크 확장으로 인하여 발생되는 문제점을 도출하여 바람직한 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 다단계 네트워크 노드의 확장은 단계가 증가할수록 그 교차점은 지수함수 적으로 증가한다. 따라서 이에 따른 비용대비 최적값을 찾아 다중 전송에 적용하고 접속 알고리즘의 속도개선에 대한 개선안을 마련코자 한다. 특별히 다단계 네트워크의 반복적인 확장에 초점을 맞추어 최신 정보에 대한 검토 및 몇 가지의 주제를 단순화하고 명확화 하는 것에 연구의 초점을 맞추었다.

본 논문에서는 멀티프로세서 기반의 고속 영상처리 알고리즘 개발방법에 대해 소개한다. 영상획득 방식의 발전과 더불어 고해상도 영상의 획득이 가능해지고 영상이 컬러화가 되면서 많은 영상처리 응용분야에서 알고리즘 고속화를 필요로 하고 있다. 이러한 수요를 만족시키기 위해서는 최근에 출시되고 있는 멀티프로세서를 최대한 활용할 수 있는 알고리즘 개발이 최우선이다. 본 논문에서는 OpenMP, MIL(Matrox Image Library), OpenCV, IPP(Integrated Performance Primitives), SSE (Streaming SIMD (Single Instruction Multiple Data) Extensions)등 병렬처리와 고속 영상처리 라이브러리를 이용한 알고리즘 개발방법에 대해 소개하고, 각 개발방법에 따른 알고리즘 성능을 분석 및 평가하였다. 실험결과로부터 SSE와 IPP, MIL(Thread)을 이용하여 Mean, Dilation, Erosion, Open, Closing, Sobel등 알고리즘을 구현하여 $4057{\times}4048$크기의 영상에 적용하였을 때 $7{\sim}35msec$의 좋은 성능을 나타내어 기타 방식보다 우수함을 알 수 있었다.

본 논문에서는 SSE(Streaming Sigle instruction multiple data Extensions)명령어를 이용한 고속 Sobel edge detection 알고리즘을 제안한다. SSE를 지원하는 CPU는 128bit의 SSE 레지스터를 보유하고 있으며 이에 속한 데이터는 한 번에 병렬적으로 처리 될 수 있다. 실험은 Sobel 연산에 대하여 순차처리 코딩, 이미지 처리 라이브러리인 OpenCV, MIL 8.0, IPP 5.2를 이용한 코딩, shift 알고리즘을 사용한 SSE 코딩, 제안하는 방법을 이용한 SSE 프로그램 코팅에 대해 각각의 수행 시간을 측정하고 이를 비교하였다. 실험결과 제안하는 방법은 순차코팅에 비해 약 12배, OpenCV에 비해 13배, MIL에 비해 2배 정도 빨랐으며, IPP에 대해선 약간 빠른 성능 향상을 보였다. 또한 일반적인 shift를 이용한 방법보다 제안하는 방법은 대략 1.5배 정도의 성능 향상이 있었다. 이를 통해 제안하는 방법은 라이브러리를 구입하는 비용을 들이지 않으며 추가적 하드웨어의 구입 없이도 PC에서 빠른 Sobel 연산을 수행 할 수 있음을 보였다.

현재 MPEG 국제 표준화 기구에서는 MPEG-4 IPMPX(Extensions of Intellectual Property Management and Protection system) 분야를 통하여 다양한 벤더(vendor)들에 의하여 개발된 서로 다른 보호 툴들이 하나의 사용자 단말 시스템에서 적용될 수 있도록 그 구조를 정의하고 있다. 이 기술은 각 툴을 유일하게 식별하도록 하는 툴 ID 와, 단말 시스템과 툴 사이, 또는 툴과 툴 사이에 의사소통을 위한 공통된 메시지 클래스에 기반을 두고 있다. 본 논문은 현재 표준화가 진행되고 있는 MPEG-4 IPMPX 규격[1]에 정의된 IPMPX 메시지를 통하여 동작할 수 있는 오디오 워터마킹 툴의 구현과 구현된 툴과 IPMP 시스템과의 연동에 관한 것이다. 구현된 툴이 실제 IPMPX 단말 시스템과 이상 없이 동작하는 것을 확인하기 위하여 IPMPX 규격에 정의된 Message Router와 Tool Manager를 MP3 플레이어에 적용한 단말 시스템에 기존의 복호화 툴과 구현된 워터마킹 툴을 연동하였으며, 암호화되어 입력된 MP3 파일이 복호화, 디코딩, 워터마크 추출 과정을 통과하여 이상 없이 재생됨을 확인하였다.

인터넷 서비스 환경은 모바일 단말기들을 지원하는 비즈니스 및 서비스 환경으로 급변하고 있다. 이러한 변화에 따라 기존 유선 인터넷 뿐 아니라 모바일 환경의 서비스에서도 쉽게 사용할 수 있는 모바일 응용서버에 관한 연구가 필요하다. 서버 환경에서는 시스템 접근 요구가 많은 대규모 서비스를 위해 상시 가동을 기본적으로 필요로 하며, 큰 트래픽의 효과적인 분산을 통해 부하분산, 확장성, 가용성 등의 기능을 제공해 주기 위해서 클러스터링 기법을 이용한다. 이 논문에서는 클러스터링의 효과적인 관리를 위해 JMX(Java Management Extensions) 프레임웍을 이용하여 서버의 동적 클러스터링을 관리하는 새로운 기법을 제시한다.

Angiogenesis is a complex, multistep process involving dynamic changes in endothelial cell (EC) shapes and behaviors, especially in specialized cell types such as tip cells (with active filopodial extensions), stalk cells (with less motility) and phalanx cells (with stable junction connections). The Hippo-Yes-associated protein (YAP)/ transcription activator with PDZ binding motif (TAZ) signaling plays a critical role in development, regeneration and organ size by regulating cell-cell contact and actin cytoskeleton dynamics. Recently, with the finding that YAP is expressed in the front edge of the developing retinal vessels, Hippo-YAP/TAZ signaling has emerged as a new pathway for blood vessel development. Intriguingly, the LATS1/2-mediated angiomotin (AMOT) family and YAP/TAZ activities contribute to EC shapes and behaviors by spatiotemporally modulating actin cytoskeleton dynamics and EC junction stability. Herein, we summarize the recent understanding of the role of Hippo-YAP/TAZ signaling in the processes of EC sprouting and junction maturation in angiogenesis.

We suggests an effective method to construct time-varying C-obstacles in the 3-dimensional configuration space (C-space) using free arc. The concept of free arc was defined mathematically and the procedure to find free arc in the case off-dimensional C-space was derived in [1]. We showed that time-varying C-obstacles can be constructed efficiently using this concept, and presented simulation results for two SCARA robot manipulators to verify the efficacy of the proposed approach. In this paper, extensions of this approach to the 3-dimensional C-space is introduced since nearly all industrial manipulators are reasonably treated ill the too or three dimensional C-space f3r collision avoidance problem The free arc concept is summarized briefly and the method to find lice arc in the 3-dimensional f-space is explained. To show that this approach enables us to solve a practical collision avoidance problem simulation results f3r two PUMA robot manipulators are presented.

The services such as real-time audio and video applications have become increasingly popular, especially over the Internet. Furthermore, as being commercialized those contents on the Internet require quality of service (QoS) support to ensure their performance. PPP is the best solution to of for those kinds of services. The reason why we want to employ PPP is this satisfies most of the requirements associated with remote connectivity to an NSP, such as IP address assignment, security, and AAA (authentication, authorization and accounting). In addition, since ISPs and corporations are familiar with PPP based connectivity, easy migration from existing ISP infrastructure is expected, if QoS is guaranteed. But so for PPP has had no field to ensure the quality of service. This article presents the solution by using some tunneling protocols and the draft [1] that proposed additional LCP option fields to negotiate QoS. To communicate each other, after negotiating those option fields, over various protocols such as ATM, Ethernet, and etc. tunneling protocol is used. Following sections will mention those briefly. And the service provision to offer the end-to-end communication with negotiated QoS will also be proposed.

분석적학습과 귀납적학습을 결합한 지식기반신경망은 다른 기계학습모델보다 우수한 성능을 나타내고 있다. 그러나 지식기반신경망에서는 신경망이 형성된 후 그 구조를 동적으로 변경할 수 없어서 영역이론정련화 기능을 제공하지 못한다. 이러한 단점을 갖고 있는 지식기반신경망을 보완하기 위하여 TopGen 알고리즘이 제안되었지만 부분적인 문제점을 안고 있다. 본 논문에서는 TopGen의 문제점을 해소하면서 지식기반 신경망을 확장하여 영역이론정련기능을 부여하는 방안 2가지를 제시하고 이를 평가하였다.
