인터넷 기반 가상실험실의 구현 (Implementation of Virtual Laboratory Based on the Internet)

  • 많은 공학 연구에서 실제 시스템을 활용한 검증은 매우 중요하다. 특히, 제어공학의 경우 개발된 새로운 이론을 적용 및 검증할 수 있는 실험장비의 확보는 필수적이다. 그러나, 현실적으로 적절한 실험장비를 확보하는 것은 비경제적이다. 인터넷을 활용하여 실험장비의 원격실험을 가능케 한 가상실험실은 제어공학 연구에 유용하다. 인터넷의 보급과 함께 가상실험실에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있으나, 대부분의 경우가 특정 시스템에 한정된 가상 실험실의 구축에 한정되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존 연구와 달리 다양한 실험 장비에 적용 가능하며 다양한 제어 기법을 제공하는 가상실험실의 구현을 제안한다. 제안된 가상실험실은 서버-클라이언트 구조를 가지며 다중 제어 인터페이스로 구현된다.

Breakdown Properties of Coolant for HTS Apparatus Operating at Cryogenic Temperature

  • For the dielectric insulation design of any high temperature superconducting (HTS) apparatus in the electrical power systems, the breakdown properties of cryogenic coolants such as $LN_2$ are an important factor of the insulating engineering. Therefore, this paper presented an experimental investigation of breakdown phenomena in $LN_2$ under AC voltage. And we studied the breakdown properties of LN2 with decreasing temperature. Also, the Weibull plots of the breakdown voltage of subcooled $LN_2$ at 65 K for the needle-plane electrode with electrode distance d= 10 mm are studied. The dependence of breakdown voltage for needle-plane and pancake coil-pancake coil electrode on temperature is illustrated. The experimental data suggested that the breakdown voltage of L$N_2$ depend strongly on the temperature of $LN_2$. The breakdown characteristics of $LN_2$ under quasi-uniform and non-uniform electrical field for temperature ranging from 77 K to 65 K were clarified.

평형식진동탄환암거천공기의 연구(II) -모수실험 : 진동에 대하여- (A Study on Balanced-Type Oscillating Mole Drainer (II) (Model Test For Vibration))

When the frame of the experimental apparatus was directly fixed on the platform, result from the spectrum density analysis showed that the generated vibration frequecy of the system was nearly-same as the system's own characteristic vibration frequency, 80Hz, in the case of the forcing vibration frequency was 7.5 to 22.5Hz. The reduction ratio of acceleration by balanced type model compare to non-balanced type one was 26.66 percent. 2. When the frame of experimental apparatus was fixed on the platform with putting a shock absorbing rubber between the frame and the platform, the generated vibration frequency of the system was same as forcing vibration frequency. When either frequency or the amplitude of the forcing vibration was increased, the acceleration ratio was increased too. The average reduction ratio was resulted 44.77 per cent. It was concluded that this method of acceleration measurement(the method using a shock absorbing rubber) was a reaonable method, because actual machine will work under such condition. As the vibration frequency and aptitude were increased, the absolute magnitude of acceleration was increased. 3. unbalanced rotating parts, and unbalanced moment of inertia of links were supposed to be causing factors of residual vibration in spite of using the balanced type oscillating mole drainer. This fact suggested that the attachment of the counter weight on the rotating parts which satisfy the condition mw$.$rw=m0e, was necessary. And also, it was expected that the shock absorbing effect could be improved by putting the shock absorbing materials between the moving parts and their supports.

Identification of the Jiles-Atherton Model Parameters Using Simulated Annealing Method

  • This paper presents a method and the experimental measurement system for the determination of Jiles-Atherton model parameters of the 30ZH120 electrical steel sheet. The paper utilizes Epstein Square devices to proceed with the experiment and measurement on a group of hysteresis loops of some certain transformers which use the 30ZH120 electrical steel sheet under two different lap ways. The approach relies on the simulated annealing optimization method in order to minimize the error between the measured and modeled hysteresis curves and yield the best five Jiles-Atherton model parameters. A convenient program, based on the Simulink platform, that can identify the J-A model parameters automatically from the experimental saturated hysteresis loop which is used to model the nonlinear characteristics of the electrical steel sheet, is developed. Research shows that the simulated annealing optimization method gets satisfactory results.

  • In this study, recently it is urgently required that demolition waste concrete has to be recycled on the construction because urban development is accelerated and redevelopment project is rapidly expanded, production quantity of construction and demolition waste concrete is being increased. On the other hand, it has to be solved urgently the unbalance of demand and supply about the fine aggregate because the sea sand is restricted by exhaustion of river sand and intensification of environment influence evaluation. Therefore, the purpose of the study was to show the performance of the apparatus developed by the study and to propose the direction of the optimum operating conditions by having an experimental and positive evaluation about quality of recycled sand produced to develop a separating and selecting device of impurities for recycling of construction wastes which can have a bigger improvement of economical efficiency, productivity, environmental property and quality through a basic property of matter of recycled sand by each operating condition of sand flux in comparison with the existing production system of recycled sand.

미세버블펌프 수치모델평가 및 검증 (Evaluation for the Numerical Model of a Micro-Bubble Pump)

  • Hydraulic performance of a micro-bubble pump has been analyzed by numerical simulation and experimental measurements. Flow recirculation apparatus between the pump inlet and outlet reserviors has been adopted to measure pump performance according to flow conditions sequentially. To analyze three-dimensional flow field in the micro-bubble pump, general analysis code, CFX, is employed. SST turbulence model is employed to estimate the eddy viscosity and compared the pump performance to k-${\varepsilon}$ model. Unstructured grids are used to represent a composite grid system including blade, casing and inlet casing. It is found that the numerical model used in the present study is effective to evaluate the pump performance. From the numerical simulation, low velocity region due to pressure loss is decreased where pump efficiency has maximum value. Detailed flow field inside the micro-bubble pump is also analyzed and compared.

대형진동삼축시험기를 이용한 암석재료의 동적변형특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Dynamic Deformation Properties of Rock Materials using Large Triaxial Testing Apparatus)

  • In order to investigate the dynamic deformation properties of rockfill materials in small strain level, cyclic triaxial tests were conducted using the large cyclic triaxial testing apparatus, which was developed by Water Resources Research Institute of KOWACO in 2001. Two types of rockfill materials consisting of granite and shale-sandstone were tested in this study. The test results show that G/G$\_$max/ of granite specimen decreases more than that of shale-sandstone with the increase of shear strain and the increase ratio in the maximum shear modulus G$\_$max/ of granite is bigger than the ratio of shale-sandstone.

  • Voltage of radiometer is measured experimentally using the radiation apparatus in each case of iron- and copper-plates as specimen heating device. The length between radiometer and conical shield and the temperature of specimen heating device are considered as variables. The length between radiometer and conical shield controls the amount of radiation from the specimen heating device. Emissivity for both iron-and copper-plates are calculated by using Stefan-Boltzmann equation. One of results shows that emissivity for both materials increases as the length between radiometer and conical shield increases.

  • Recently, because the lubricating oil showed a tendency to be emulsified and oxidized by high speed, high output and the extension of maintenance & conservation of marine engine, the cavitation erosion-corrosion at such an environment became a big problem on effective performance of engine. Therefore, there was a need to study the behavior and protection of erosion-corrosion damage, and then applied inhibitor to a protective method of cavitation erosion- corrosion damage. At this time, test environments were marine lubricating oil & various emulsified oil that mixed distilled water and sea water etc., and also used 20KHz, 24.mu.m piezoelectric vibrator as an experimental apparatus of cavitation erosion. With this apparatus, we investigated an influence of the emulsified oil on characteristics of erosion-corrosion and protection for erosion-corrosion by inhibitor at slide bearing metals.

  • 이 연구에서는 5차 교육과정과 6차 교육과정의 중학교 과학 교과서에 제시된 구름발생 실험 내용을 실험 방법 및 실험 기구 등의 측면에서 비교 분석하였다. 그리고 열역학적 관점에서 문제점을 살펴보았으며 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위한 실험을 개발하여 교과서 실험 결과와 비교함으로서 그 효과를 알아보았다.
