제련소 주변토양 중금속 존재형태 (Existing Forms of Heavy Metals in the Vicinity of a Smelter)

  • Heavy metals in soils exist in various forms dependent upon surrounding conditions. As the Janghang smelter area is of concern for its high elevated heavy metal concentrations, Korean government decided to remediate the area. Main objectives of this research were; to analyze heavy metal concentrations and their existing forms in the vicinity of the smelter; and to understand differences made by analysis techniques of heavy metals. Top soils of rice field, crop field, bare field, and forestry in the area were sampled and analyzed for their physicochemical characteristics. Concentrations of Cu, Cd, Pb, and As were analyzed with two pretreatment techniques adopted using 0.1 N HCl and aqua regia. To analyze existing forms of heavy metals, Tessier's schemes for sequential extraction technique were adopted. Exchangeable fraction and carbonate bound fraction of heavy metals may pose potential threat to environment and were in the order of Pb > As > Cu > Cd. If assessing mobile fraction of heavy metals by land uses, the order was forestry > bare land > crop field > rice field. When analyzed using Tessier's scheme, high ratio of residual fractions to total arsenic concentration should be considered for remediation design of the area.

선박개조에 따른 고객 맞춤형 기성품 선형 개발 (Study on the Development of the Customized Ready-Made Hull Forms according to the Retrofit)

  • 본 연구의 주목적은 기존선형을 바탕으로 연료 절감이 가능한 표준화된 개조선형을 개발하는 것이다. 설계 흘수와 설계 선속을 고려하여 대상선박의 선수부 형상을 검토하였다. 실제 운항 상태 별로 대상선박에 대하여 저항성능을 평가하였다. 상용 전산유체역학(CFD) 코드와 수조 모형시험 자료는 유효마력 평가를 위해 사용되었다. 실제 운항 상태를 고려하여 최소저항을 가지는 3가지 개조선형을 제시하였다. 제시된 개조선형은 고객이 선택가능 하다는 점에서 고객 맞춤형 기성품 선형이라고 명하였다. 개조선형 별로 실제 운항 상태에 따라 유효마력을 추정하였다. 가장 낮은 흘수에서 운항할 경우, 기존선형과 비교하여 볼 때 개조3 선형의 저항성능은 저속영역인 16~18노트에서 약 11~16 %로 향상된 결과를 보여 주었다. 중간 흘수인 8.3m에서 운항할 경우, 개조3 선형의 저항성능은 저속영역에서 기존선형보다 약 6~11 %로 향상된 결과를 보여 주었다. 가장 높은 흘수인 9.5m에서 운항할 경우, 모든 선형의 저항성능은 저속영역에서 큰 차이를 보이지 않았다.

  • Despite various forms have been developed and applied to ship hull forms, the superiority of hard chine type over other forms of fishing boat has been recognized so far. As one of the ways of forms for new concept fishing boat, this paper presents the result of a performance evaluation for newly developed forms of hull, appendage and deck house, which features that have esthetic forms.

존 갈리아노의 콜렉션에 나타난 헤드웨어의 디자인 특성 (The Characteristics of Headwear Design by John Galliano's Collections)

  • In this study, the characteristics of headwear design by John Galliano's collections had been placed under the interpreting the immanent characteristics of presented in external things. His headwear design was found to have following characteristics; ethnic forms, historical forms, natural modeling forms, artifical forms, false hair forms and abstract forms. And his headwear design was found to have folling immanent characteristics; expaned exaggeration, introduced into existing form and reconstruction, mixed with different motives, change of texture, introducing and parody by natural and artifical form, pure abstacted construction. Furthermore, it can be identified that immanent characteristics and external things are mutually linked.

  • The purpose of this study is to improve the productivity and constructability of permanent forms. The permanent forms will cut down the cost of production and make easier to install in the field; hence increase the use of forms in the today's market. The permanent form is produced in the factory and built in field. So this study is in two parts. The one is the productivity in factory, the other is constructability in the field. This study is the designing a new mold system as a solution to existing mold system's problems.

컴퓨터 그래픽스를 활용한 조경수목 형상자료의 가시화 - AccuRender의 수목 모델링 모듈 활용을 중심으로 - (Visualization of Landscape Tree Forms Using Computer Graphic Techniques: Using the Plant Editing Module in AccuRender)

  • The purpose of this research is to find som ways to model tree forms more efficiently in reference with surveying structural data and handling parameters in plant Editor of AccuRender, the AutoCAD-based rendering software adopting the procedural plant modeling technique. In case of modelling a new tree, because it is efficient to modify an existing tree data as a template, we attempted to classify 81 species' data from existing plant library including conifers and deciduous tree. According to the qualitative characteristics and quantitative parameters of geometrical and branching structure, 8 types of tree form were classified with factor and cluster analysis. Some critical aspects found in the distributions of standardized scores of parameters in each type were discussed for explaining the tree forms intuitively. For adaptability of the resulted classification and typical parameters, 10 species of tree were measured and modelled, and proved to be very similar to the real structures of tree forms. CG or CAD-based plant modelling technique would be recommended not only as a presentation tool but for planting design, landscape simulation and assessment.

신경회로망과 실험계획법을 이용한 칩형상 예측 (Prediction of Chip Forms using Neural Network and Experimental Design Method)

  • This paper suggests a systematic methodology to predict chip forms using the experimental design technique and the neural network. Significant factors determined with ANOVA analysis are used as input variables of the neural network back-propagation algorithm. It has been shown that cutting conditions and cutting tool shapes have distinct effects on the chip forms, so chip breaking. Cutting tools are represented using the Z-map method, which differs from existing methods using some chip breaker parameters. After training the neural network with selected input variables, chip forms are predicted and compared with original chip forms obtained from experiments under same input conditions, showing that chip forms are same at all conditions. To verify the suggested model, one tool not used in training the model is chosen and input to the model. Under various cutting conditions, predicted chip forms agree well with those obtained from cutting experiments. The suggested method could reduce the cost and time significantly in designing cutting tools as well as replacing the“trial-and-error”design method.

의복 생산용 바디 개발을 위한 기초 연구 (A Basic Study on the Product Development of Dress Forms)

  • The purposes of this study are to examine clothing businesses which are using dress forms and grasp the problems in apparel manufacturing process, to verify the size and shape of the dress forms for uniformity, to ascertain the uniformity between the dress forms being sold today and the somatotype of the target consumers. The following results were obtained. First, most of the clothing businesses used the existing dress forms in the company. The dress forms didn't reflect the somatotype of the current consumers. And the users satisfaction was below the average. Second, the size and shape of the dress forms being sold today had lack of uniformity between themselves. Third, the dress forms didn't reflect the shape characteristics as well as the size of the target consumers. Consequently, The dress forms need to have the following. First, It is necessary that the dress forms have various functions in a dress form in the future. Second, to get high satisfaction of clothing fit, we need to build up the data base of the consumers somatotype. The data base have to consist of not only circumference but also width, thickness, angle of the current consumers. Last, the further studies of the dress forms need to meet the clothing businesses demand.

3D 아바타를 이용한 드레이핑용 1/2 드레스폼 개발 (Development of 1/2 Dress Form for Draping using 3D Avatars)

  • This study develops 1/2 dress forms for draping. This study investigated the production status of domestic and foreign products in order to model their shape using CLO 3D. In addition, it developed torso-type and torso-crotch-type products that allowed for draping using a 3D printer. This study analyzed shape and size compared to developed ones after referring to the Size Korea 7th Survey data as well as seven domestic and foreign company websites. The results are follows. First, an investigation of the production status of the products for the size of most of the domestic ones (except K-4) indicated that the waist circumference was slimmer than Size Korea. Bust, waist, and hip circumferences ranged from 42.0 cm, 32.0 cm, and 45.0 cm - 49.0 cm, respectively, in Chinese products; 42.0 cm - 43.0 cm, 30.5 cm - 31.5 cm, and 46.0 cm - 46.5 cm in Japanese products; 43.0 cm, 35.0cm, and 46.5 cm in American products (Japanese body shape applied). Second, an avatar was produced on a 3D software with the average size of 20-24year-old women, and its file modified as a dress form for 3D printing with PLA filament to produce dress forms for draping, workable with pins, using quilting cotton and cotton cloth. Third, the comparisons of the form and flattening between the developed dress forms and the selling ones indicated that flattening was bigger in the waist part of the former than the latter. The waist is produced too slim in the existing dress forms; therefore, it is necessary to correct the waist circumference. Unlike existing dress forms, the developed ones were produced in proximity to the average size of 20-24 year-old women in the Size Korea 7th Survey.

내한제 및 단열거푸집에 의한 한중콘크리트 시공의 효율화에 관한 기초적 연구 (A Fundamental Study on the Effectiveness of Cold Weather Concreting Using Anti-freeze Agent and Insulating Form)

  • This paper presents the effectiveness of cold weather concreting by applying both anti-freeze agent and insulating forms developed through previous study investigating insulating effects on the concrete and the strength gain. According to test results, in $-10^{\circ}C$ of air temperature, when euroforms are applied, the temperature of plain concrete drops below $0^{\circ}C$ and maintains its temperature during early 24 hours. However, when insulating forms are applied, the temperature of concrete keeps 8~$13^{\circ}C$ during first 24 hours. Insulating forms has better performance on insulating effects than existing euroforms. Concrete containing anti-freeze agent shows temperature rising effects about $1^{\circ}C$ compared to plain concrete. Strength gain of core concrete shows higher when insulating forms is applied.
