A MATHEMATICAL MODEL OF A PREY-PREDATOR TYPE FISHERY IN THE PRESENCE OF TOXICITY WITH FUZZY OPTIMAL HARVESTING

  • In this paper, we have presented a multispecies prey-predator harvesting system based on Lotka-Voltera model with two competing species which are affected not only by harvesting but also by the presence of a predator, the third species. We also assume that the two competing fish species releases a toxic substance to each other. We derive the condition for global stability of the system using a suitable Lyapunov function. The possibility of existence of bionomic equilibrium is considered. The optimal harvest policy is studied and the solution is derived under imprecise inflation in fuzzy environment using Pontryagin's maximal principle. Finally some numerical examples are discussed to illustrate the model.

DECAY RESULTS OF WEAK SOLUTIONS TO THE NON-STATIONARY FRACTIONAL NAVIER-STOKES EQUATIONS

  • The goal of this paper is to study decay properties of weak solutions to Cauchy problem of the non-stationary fractional Navier-Stokes equations. By using the Fourier splitting method, we give the time L2-decay rate of weak solutions, which reveals that L2-decay is generally determined by its linear generalized Stokes flow. In second part, we establish various decay results and the uniqueness of the two dimensional fractional Navier-Stokes flows. In the end of this article, as an appendix, the existence of global weak solutions is given by making use of Galerkin' method, weak and strong compact convergence theorems.

강결합방식의 GPS/INS 시스템에 대한 측정치 시간지연 추정 연구 (A Study on the Measurement Time-Delay Estimation of Tightly-Coupled GPS/INS system)

  • In this paper we study the performance of the measurement time-delay estimation of tightly-coupled GPS/INS(Global positioning system/Inertial Navigation system) system. Generally, the heading error estimation performance of loosely-coupled GPS/INS system using GPS's Navigation Solution is poor. In the case of tightly-coupled GPS/INS system using pseudo-range and pseudo-range rate, the heading error estimation performance is better. However, the time-delay error on the measurement(pseudo-range rate) make the heading error estimation performance degraded. So that, we propose the time-delay model on the measurement and compose the time-delay estimator. And we confirm that the heading error estimation performance in the case of measurement time-delay existence is similar with the case of no-delay by Monte-Carlo simulation.

  • A robust control intended for a nonholonomic mobile robot is considered to guarantee good tracking a desired trajectory. The main drawbacks of the mobile robot model are the existence of nonholonomic constraints, uncertain system parameters and un-modeled dynamics. in order to overcome these drawbacks, we propose a robust control based on Lyapunov theory associated with sliding-mode control, this solution shows good robustness with respect to parameter variations, measurement errors, noise and guarantees position and velocity tracking. The global asymptotic stability of the overall system is proven theoretically. The simulation results largely confirm the effectiveness of the proposed control.

Neutrinoless Double Beta Decay and Light Sterile Neutrino

  • The recent neutrino experiment results show a preference on normal mass ordering of neutrinos. The global efforts to search for neutrinoless double beta decays undergo a broad gap with the approach to the prediction in three-neutrino framework based on the normal ordering. Current research is to show that it is possible to find a neutrinoless double beta decay signal even with normal ordered neutrino masses. We propose the existence of light sterile neutrino as a solution to the higher effective mass of electron neutrino expected by experiments under operation. A few short-baseline oscillation experiments gave rise to exclusion bound to the mass of sterile neutrino and its mixing with the lightest neutrino. It is demonstrated that results of neutrinoless double beta decays can also narrow down the ranges of the mass and the mixing angle of sterile neutrino.

다이캐스팅 금형의 내구 수명평가와 금형강 소재 선정에 대한 연구 (Study on Life Evaluation of Die Casting Mold and Selection of Mold Material)

  • In Die casting process, the problem of die degradation is often issued. In oder to increase of die life the material degradation of die steel was investigated using test core pins. Three test core pins were positioned in front of the gate entry and observed washout and soldering resistance during Mg die casting process. The test parameters are set as different commercial die materials, coatings condition and hardness of die surface. Usign 220t magnesium die casting machine was employed to cast AZ91 magnesium alloys. After 150 shots, macroscopic observation of die surface was carried out. Additional 50 cycles later, test pins were chemically cleaned with 5% HCl aqueous solution to find out the existence of washout and soldering layers. Microstructural characterization of die surface and the die roughness measurement were performed together. Computational simulation using AnyCasting program was also beneficial to correlate the extent of die damage with the position of test pin inside die cavity. As results, the optimal combination of die steel with productive coating as well as its hardness was drawn out. it will be helpful to decide the material and condition considering increasing of tool life.

동적 차량경로 문제에 대한 분산 알고리즘 (A Decentralized Coordination Algorithm for a Highly Dynamic Vehicle Routing Problem)

  • The Dynamic Vehicle Routing Problem (DVRP) involves a combinatorial optimization problem where new customer demands become known over time, and old routes must be reconfigured to generate new routes while executing the current solution. We consider the high level of dynamism problem. An application of highly dynamic DVRP is the ambulance service where a patient contacts the service center, followed by an evaluation of case severity, and a visit by a practitioner/ ambulance is scheduled accordingly. This paper considers a variant of the DVRP and proposes a decentralized algorithm in which collaborators (Depot and Vehicle), both have only partial information about the entire system. The DVRP is modeled as a periodic re optimization of VRP using the proposed decentralized algorithm where collaborators exchange local information to achieve the best global objective for the current state of the system. We assume the existence of a dispatcher e.g., headquarter of the company who can communicate to vehicles in order to gather information and assigns the new visits to them. The effectiveness of the proposed decentralized coordination algorithm is further evaluated using benchmark data given in literature. The results show that the proposed method performed better than the compared algorithms which utilize the centralized coordination in 12 out of 21 benchmark problems.

  • 오늘날 세계는 글로벌, 디지털 시대를 향해 눈부신 변화를 거듭하고 있으며 제조업 기반의 기업은 이러한 변화에 대응하기 위하여 새로운 경영기법과 생산시스템을 도입하고자 노력하고 있다. 그러나 기업이 빠른 변화에 대응하기 위해 제조시스템에 대한 명확한 분석도 없이 새로운 기술만 적용한다면 실패는 필연적으로 존재하게 된다. 그러므로 기업은 제조 시스템에 대한 명확한 분석이 필요하고, 공정개선에 대한 위험성을 줄이는 새로운 방법이 필요하게 된다. 따라서 본 논문은 공장 시스템의 공정개선에 대한 새로운 접근 방법인 시스템 접근 방법을 시스템 분석, 시스템 진단, 시스템 검증으로 체계화하여 제시하고자 한다. 시스템 분석은 객체지향 분석법인 UML로 시스템의 제품(Product), 자원(Resource)과, 공정(Process)관점에서 시스템을 분석한다. 시스템 진단은 제약이론(Theory of constraints)으로 시스템 향상을 위한 핵심요인을 확인한다. 시스템 검증은 가상 생산 기술(Virtual Manufacturing Technique)을 적용하여 핵심 제약요인에 대한 해결 방안을 제시한다. 위와 같은 방법론을 조선소 가공공장에 적용하여 생산성 향상을 위한 새로운 대안들을 제공한다. 가공공장에서 UML 모델은 가공공장에 대한 명확한 분석방법과 외부환경에 쉽게 적응하기 위한 재사용성을 나타내고, 제약이론의 논리나무(logical tree)는 가공공장을 최적하기위한 논리적 도구를 제공하며. 이산 사건 시뮬레이터-QUEST는 최적화된 가공공장을 검증하는 의사결정 도구를 제공한다.
