  • Most password-authenticated key exchange schemes in the literature provide an authenticated key exchange between a client and a server based on a pre-shared password. With a rapid change in modem communication environments, it is necessary to construct a secure end-to-end channel between clients, which is a quite different paradigm from the existing ones. In this paper we propose a new framework which provides a password-authenticated ky exchange between clients based only on their two different Passwords without my Pre-shared secret, so called Client-to-Client Password-Authenticated Key Exchange(C2C-PAKE). Security notions and types of possible attacks are newly defined according to the new framework We prove our scheme is secure against all types of attacks considered in the paper. Two secure C2C-PAKE schemes are suggested, one in a cross-realm setting and the other in a single-sorrel setting.

  • Three-party key exchange protocol is a cryptographic protocol which permits two clients share a common session key using different passwords by the help of a trusted server. In a three-party key exchange protocol, an user remember only one password which shared with a trusted server for establish a common key with another user. The trusted server should participate in an execution of the protocol between two clients. This impose heavy burden on the server when many users want to establish a session key using the protocol. In this paper, we propose a three-party key exchange protocol based on a smart card which reduce the computational complexity and communication overhead for the trusted server. In our protocol, the server does not participate in an key exchange procedure between two clients.

  • In recently, the SNS which is the hot issue of the knowledge-based information age use various goal based on human networking. This service construct a human relationship which exchange of information and opinion freely, and can extend the human network relationship using open his profile and closeness others. But, each individual's privacy invasions and pissing based on information open and sharing are rising. In this paper we present a method of protecting the SNS group's communications and information interchangeability efficiently.

  • This study focuses on MRO e-Marketplace and attempts to research how companies select the structure of e-Marketplace governance and how it influences purchasing performance. Furthermore, a longitudinal study is conducted to analyze the dynamic relationship between variables in our research model. The research gives the following results. First, as the utilization level of e-Marketplace increases, the level of relational exchange between purchasing company and e-Marketplace increases. The increased utilization level enhances purchasing efficiency rather than reducing purchasing price. Secondly, as the level of relational exchange between purchasing companies and e-Marketplace increases, system integration increases, whereas supply externality decreases. Accordingly, system integration improves purchasing efficiency, whereas the low supply externality does not help lower purchasing price. Third, compared to the initial growth stage, the stable stage of e-Marketplace has the significantly increased level of relational exchange and purchasing efficiency through system integration, rather than the reduction of purchasing price by supply externality.

  • With the emergence of the Internet-of-Things (IoT) paradigm, there is a growing demand for personalized services using IoT contexts acquired from heterogeneous IoT devices. However, due to the mismatch between IoT context exchange schemes of context-aware services and IoT devices, IoT applications can acquire IoT contexts only from IoT devices that support the same IoT context exchange schemes. In this paper, we propose dynamic methods to mediate those mismatches on the IoT context exchange schemes. With the proposed mediation methods, context-aware services can collect IoT contexts from heterogeneous IoT devices without considering their IoT context exchange schemes.

  • In this paper, we develop a transportation planning system for the mail transportation network, which consists of 25 mail centers and one mail exchange center. The main functions of the system are adjustment of transportation plan, creation of new transportation plan, and calculation of expected exchange mail volume which are transported through mail exchange center. We develop an adjusting algorithm which gives a new transportation plan by deleting, adding or changing the current routes. The algorithm based on the transportation results of current transportation plan and mail volume data. We design and implement a planning system by installing the algorithm as the planning engine. For the practical use, the system is connected to the information system of Korea Post, PostNet.

  • For secure multimedia communications, existing encryption techniques use an online session key for the key exchange, for which key size is limited to less than 10 digits to accommodate the latency condition caused by user devices only being able to handle low computational loads. This condition results in poor security of recorded encrypted data. In this letter, we propose a packet key scheme that encrypts real-time packets using a different key per packet for multimedia applications. Therefore, a key of a relatively small size can provide after-transmission confidentiality to data of a real-time session.

  • This paper considers connectivity-related reliability measures for a class of fault-tolerant shuffle exchange networks to characterize the degrading features over time in the presence of faulty switching elements. The mean number of connected input/output pairs, the mean number of survivable input are considered as connectivity measures. The measures for the unique-path shuffle exchange network(SEN) and its two fault-tolerant variants, extra-stage SEN(SEN+) and INDRA network are derived analytically, and then are compared with numerical experiments.

  • The business world has been undergoing a digital transformation. The adoption of multi-sided digital platform across the world has sped up this transformation. Multi-sided digital platforms create value by mediating interactions and transactions of distinct groups of users. A platform and its stakeholders need to be considered as a business ecosystem. Elements or components in the ecosystem exchange values and together form a network of exchange values. The objective of this paper is to construct a framework for crafting and observing digital business ecosystems. The foundation theories used to construct the framework are transaction cost economy (TCE), multi-sided markets, and value network. This paper uses Go-Jek, a growing ride-hailing platform from Indonesia, as a case to discuss how the framework works in mapping Go-Jek's digital business ecosystem, and then explain its expansion strategy. This paper has both theoretical and managerial contributions. It provides a formal definition of digital business ecosystems as a network of exchange values. The framework does not only help studies the existing business ecosystems but also can be used to craft a new business ecosystem. It can also be used to study value exchanges within the ecosystem, assessing or crafting ecosystem expansion strategies.
