The ship movement implies current position, wave, wind, and its other factors. We need to know exactly the location and the shape of the ship and control its motion because of these effects. In order to control the small ship according to the movement of the large ship, the position and shape of the ship should be given first. In this paper we propose the method with which we know the current status of the ship without dynamic equations of the ship. There are several methods to track the system such as optical, radio frequency, radar, camera, and infrared light. We propose the movement of the ship using the GPS absolute axis. But, the genuine error by the GPS itself and the movement of the ship cause the result of the GPS of not being accurate. This paper reduces the error of the location and the shape of the ship and gives the exact values of the ship movements even if the GPS implies some error itself.

Background subtraction, which separates moving objects in video sequences, is an essential technology for object recognition and tracking. However, background subtraction methods are often confused by shadow regions and this misclassification of shadow regions disturbs further processes to perceive the shapes or exact positions of moving objects. This paper proposes a method for shadow elimination which is based on shadow modeling by color information and Bayesian classification framework. Also, because of dynamic update of modeling parametres, the proposed method is able to correspond adaptively to illumination changes. Experimental results proved that the proposed method can eliminate shadow regions effectively even for circumstances with varying lighting condition.

In Korea, many nuclear power plants operate at a single site based on geographical characteristics, but the population density near the sites is higher than that in other countries. Thus, multiunit accidents are a more important consideration than in other countries and should be addressed appropriately. Currently, there are many issues related to a multiunit probabilistic safety assessment (PSA). One of them is the quantification of a multiunit PSA model. A traditional PSA uses a Boolean manipulation of the fault tree in terms of the minimal cut set. However, such methods have some limitations when rare event approximations cannot be used effectively or a very small truncation limit should be applied to identify accident sequence combinations for a multiunit site. In particular, it is well known that seismic risk in terms of core damage frequency can be overestimated because there are many events that have a high failure probability. In this study, we propose a quantification method based on a Monte Carlo approach for a multiunit PSA model. This method can consider all possible accident sequence combinations in a multiunit site and calculate a more exact value for events that have a high failure probability. An example model for six identical units at a site was also developed and quantified to confirm the applicability of the proposed method.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of hypertension health school program performed in a public health center located in Y-si. Most interesting were the effects on hypertension-related knowledge, self-efficacy, self-care behavior and physiological parameters for hypertensive patients. Methods: Nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design was employed. 45 patients with hypertension living in Y-si were assigned into an experimental group (n=23) or a control group (n=22). Experimental group was provided with the 8-weeks hypertension health school program from April 7 to May 20 in 2014. Data were analyzed with SPSS/WIN 21.0 using descriptive statistics, $x^2$-test, Fisher's exact test and t-test. Results: The result indicated a significant difference between the experimental group and control group in the scores of hypertension-related knowledge (t=-10.97, p<.001), self-efficacy (t=-4.56, p<.001), self-care behavior (t=-407, p<.001), physiological parameters including systolic blood pressure (t=2.18, p=.032) and diastolic blood pressure (t=2.74, p=.008) and cholesterol levels (t=5.04, p<.001). Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that the hypertension self-help group program has a significant effect on the change of hypertension-related knowledge, self-efficacy and self-care behavior for hypertensive patients.
The purpose of this study is to identify influencing factors for successful introduction, implementation and management of HMRPS through assessment of the employees attitude toward HMRPS in technical, administrative, and organization behavioral areas. Data were collected from 157 HMRPS employee members' self-reporting questionnaire in three university hospitals in the city of Seoul and Kyonggi Province from November 5 to November 10, 1997. Relevant literature on industry company MPR system theory was reviewed to develop the theoretical framework. The results were as follows: The employee's recognition of tangible benefit were more significantly influenced success than intangible benefit for successful operation relating the HMRPS. Concerning the employee's recognition of the successful HMRPS and the factor of influenced success was significantly positive correlation between tangible and intangible benefits and success factor in technical, administrative, and organizational behavior area. This study showed that major factor affecting the employee's recognition of tangible and intangible benefit for successful HMRPS. For tangible benefits; Success factors in the technical areas were quality of the data and information, efficiency of inventory management and rescheduling of operation plan. Success factors in the administrative areas were: role of top management. Success factors in the organization behavioral areas were; simplicity of the HMRPS, human resistance to change. For intangible benefits; Success factors in the organization behavioral areas were; user involvement, simplicity of HMRPS, human resistance to change. Futhermore as the exact evaluation of successful factors of HMRPS implement is needed, research for the development of systemic variables of physical distribution system control, methods, capacity of system, duration and other environment in many of 30 hospitals or more, and for the empirical study for HMRPS.
Purpose: This study examined the effects of music therapy on pain, anxiety and length of stay of patients undergoing laparoscopic hysterectomy in the postanesthesia care unit (PACU). Methods: Sixty patients who received laparoscopic hysterectomy under general anesthesia from a PACU in a university hospital located in Cheonan city participated in this study. The experimental group (n=30) was offered the option to listen to their preferred music by using MP3 players and headphones for 30 minutes. The control group (n=30) received routine postoperative nursing care. Visual analogue scale was used to measure participants' pain and anxiety, length of stay in the PACU was examined by using their medical records. Data were collected from December 2013 to February 2014 and analyzed by descriptive statistics, ${\chi}^2$-test, Fisher's exact test, and independent t-test using SPSS version 21.0. Results: The result showed that the level of post-operative pain (t=2.44, p=.018), anxiety (t=2.37, p=.021), and the length of stay in PACU (t=3.06, p=.004) significantly decreased in the experimental group as compared to the control group. Conclusion: This study indicated that music therapy with the patients' preferred music showed positive effects. Therefore, it can be used as a therapeutic intervention for postoperative pain management of patients with laparoscopic hysterectomy.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to verify the effects of daily 2% chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG) bathing on the acquisition of multidrug-resistant organisms (MDRO) and healthcare-associated infection (HAI) in a medical intensive care unit (MICU). Methods: The study was a randomized controlled group posttest only design, involving 91 patients in MICU at a tertiary hospital (47 patients in the experimental group and 44 patients in the control group). The 2% CHG bathing was performed daily according to bathing protocol to the patients in the experimental group, and traditional bath was performed every three days to those in the control group. Fisher's exact test and x2 test were used to analyze the data. Results: MDRO were found in 6 patients of the experimental group and in 15 patients of the control group. The difference was statistically significant (p= .016). HAI occurred in 2 patients of the experimental group and in 7 patients of the control group. The difference was not statistically significant (p= .084). Conclusion: The results confirmed that daily bathing with CHG was effective in reducing the incidence of MDRO acquisition. Therefore, it is expected that daily bathing with CHG will be used as an effective nursing intervention to reduce the incidence of MDRO acquisition.
Smartphone-based localization has been widely studied in many different scenarios. But as far as we know, few work has addressed the problem of localization in underground public transportation systems, where GPS signal and wireless infrastructure are not always available. Knowing the location of a train is necessary to develop a useful service for subway passengers. And so, estimation of motion state and stop station by using sensors on a smartphone is being studied for subway passengers. This paper proposes a localization method that uses a barometer and a magnetic sensor on a smartphone. The method proposed in this paper first estimates whether the train runs or stops according to the change in air pressure and the strength of the magnetic field. The altitude value and the magnetic field value are then used to estimate the exact stop station of the train. We evaluated the proposed method using data from the Seoul's subway line 5. Compared with previous methods, the proposed method achieves higher accuracy.

Nowaday, The tendency of complexity and extension of construction fields increase the need for efficient works managements like a construction management. Consequently, by the introduction of Decision-Making Theories, researches for improving construction field's efficiencies are actively performed. Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process method is invented, so that describes a decision maker's ambiguous linguistic judgment with fuzzy numbers. but most of researches on Fuzzy-AHP use symmetric triangular fuzzy function for estimating each evaluation item with the consequence that exact judgments are impossible. those limits are caused by the point that employed fuzzy ranking methods can not support dissymmetric fuzzy numbers. In this research, we aims to overcome this problem with R.P.R(Relative Preference Ratio) method and suggest improved Fuzzy-AHP method which can use dissymmetric fuzzy triangular numbers.

Exact prediction of resource demands for future calls enhances the efficiency of the limited resource utilization in resource reservation methods for potential calls in wireless IP networks. In this paper, we propose a LMS-Wiener resource(bandwidth) prediction for future handoff calls, and then an the proposed method is compared with an existing Wiener-based method in terms of prediction error through our simulations. In our simulations, we assume that handoff call arrivals follow a non-Poisson process and each handoff call has an non-exponentially distributed channel holdingtime in the cell, considering that handoff call arrival pattern is not Poisson distribution but non-Poisson for long periods of time in wireless picocellular IP networks. Simulation results show that the prediction error in the proposed method converges to the lower value while in an existing method increase as time is passed. Therefore we may conclude that the proposed method improves the efficiency of resource utilization by more exactly predicting resource demands for future handoff calls than an existing method.
