The aim of this paper is to review KORUS FTA Rules of Origin. Although there are some differences in terms of structure and contents, KORUS FTA Rules of Origin is not much different from the other FTA's texts that Korea has already concluded. Textile and Apparel chapter is also separately specified. For textile and apparel goods, Korea and the US agreed to adopt 'yam-forward rule', allowing exceptions for certain goods. Both sides also agreed to introduce procedures for permitting to use non-Party's materials when fibers ryarns rfabrics are not available in commercial quantities. Overall evaluation on KORUS FTA is considered to be positive. Economically, KORUS FTA is expected to provide good opportunities for Korean companies to access the US market. Politically, Korea and the US can take advantage of KORUS FTA to reinforce the relationship between the two countries.

The well-known back-propagation algorithm for multi-layered neural network has successfully been applied to pattern c1assification problems with remarkable flexibility. Recently. the multi-layered neural network is used as a powerful data mining tool. Nevertheless, in many cases with complex boundary of classification, the successful learning is not guaranteed and the problems of long learning time and local minimum attraction restrict the field application. In this paper, an Improved learning procedure of multi-layered neural network is proposed. The procedure is based on the generalized delta rule but it is particular in the point that the architecture of network is not fixed but enlarged during learning. That is, the number of hidden nodes or hidden layers are increased to help finding the classification boundary and such procedure is controlled by entropy evaluation. The learning speed and the pattern classification performance are analyzed and compared with the back-propagation algorithm.

This paper describes the ECG pattern recognition using the syntatic pattern recognition algorithm. The algorithm uses the BNF rule wi th the semantic evaluation which has the structural Information of the ECG. This algorithm is constructed with (1) removing the baseline drift by the Cubic spline function and exract the significant point by the line-approximation algorithm, (2) syntatic peak recognition algorithm with the extracted significant point, (3) produce the token which is used pattern recognition, (4) pattern recognition of the ECG by the syntatic pattern recognition algorithm, (5) extract the parameter with the pattern recognized ECG signal.

Testing the sibling relationship becomes more important issue in many cases such as the reunion of dispersed family members whose parents have already passed away and the discrimination between pure-bred and crossbred dogs. Analysis of the sibling case is different from that of the paternity case. In this paper, we describe how to evaluate and determine the sibling relationship by comparing sibling pairs with unrelated pairs. We use the Korean population with 17 independent STR loci system to propose a discrimination rule.

Back pain with sciatica is a common clinical syndrome that may be the expression of an uncommon pathological process. We describe a case of retroperitoneal lymphoma mimicking herniated lumbar disc. 62 year old male patient with a clinical picture of sciatica as a first manifestation of retroperitoneal lymphoma. His pain was not response to conventional therapy, and progressively worsened. We reevaluated him and found huge retroperitoneal lymphoma in his pelvic cavity. So we discuss how to identify the few who had extra attention. It is important to rule out occult pathology in patient with an atypical presentation. In assessing a patient with a low back pain, accurate evaluation require a logical, step by step method.

This study aimed to analyze the functionality and healthiness of family rules through a relational analysis of the relationship between the rule frequency by sub-family system and the content properties shown in the 'family constitution', It also aimed to examine the relationship between the perception degree of healthy family elements and the family subsystem rules and prepare the project development plans. As a result, it was a found that there were many dysfunctional rules, and healthiness was not satisfied. Project development plans include specific project plans, delivery systems, an orientation for practitioners, the necessity of evaluation and feedback, family health diagnosis, association with other project areas, and small scale operations.

A battlefield simulation is the evaluation and analysis of the battlefield area, based on the data for terrain, climate, unit's maneuver and tactics basically required in battlefield simulation. Because it is difficult for the military authorities to collect all of the information perfectly for the reason of communication technology, jamming, and tactics, the military authorities need the future moving status for the target units by using acquired moving information. Therefore, we propose a moving object management system that concurrently provides domain reasoning function for the battlefield simulation. In order to implement the proposed system, we show the data modeling of the moving object for the battlefield simulation, and propose an inference engine using domain rule base and spatiotemporal operation. Also, we analyze the query response rate by inference function to verify domain reasoning of the implemented system.

During this study, constant stress ratio tests with previous compression anisotropic stress history are performed on compacted decomposed granite soil sampled at Iksan, Jeonbuk. Yielding points are determined from stress-strain curves. The shape and characteristics of compression anisotropic yield curves is examined. In addition, the measured value of yielding curve and stress-strain behavior is predicted by Yasufuku's anisotropic constitutive model based on non-associated flow rule. The main results are summarized as follows : 1) Shape of yielding curves shows almost ellipse but asymmetry with respect to stress path during previous consolidation stress. 2) Yasufuku's anisotropic constitutive model is suitable in evaluation of yielding curves on anisotropic consolidated decomposed granite soil. 3) The predicted stress-strain curve shows reasonable agreement to measured behaviours.

This paper presents an analytical prediction of Nonlinear characteristics of prestressed concrete bridges by strengthened of externally tendon considering the work sequence, using beam-column element based on flexibility method and tendon element. The beam-column element was developed with reinforced concrete material nonlinearities which are based on the smeared crack concept. The fiber hysteresis rule of beam-column element is derived from the uniaxial constitutive relations of concrete and reinforcing steel fibers. The tendon element represent the bonded tendon and unbonded tendon behaviors. Beam-column element and tendon element was be subroutine A computer program, named RCAHEST (Reinforced Concrete Analysis in Higher Evaluation System Technology), for the analysis of RC and PSC structures was used. The proposed numerical method for prestressed concrete structures by strengthened of externally tendon is verified by comparison with reliable experimental results.

This paper propose a personalized defection detection and prevention procedure based on the observation that potential defectors have tendency to take a couple of months or weeks. For this purpose, possible states of customer behavior are determined from past behavior data using SOM (Self-Organizing Map). For the evaluation of the proposed procedure, a case study has been conducted for a Korean online game site. The result demonstestes that the proposed procedure can assist defection prevention effectively and detect potential defectors without deterioration of prediction accuracy comparison to prediction by MLP. Our procedure can be applied to various service industries that can capture fluent customer behavior data such as telecommunications, internet access services, and content services, too.
