In this study, the effects of pre-learning attitude on learning participation and academic achievement was analyzed when applying the flipped learning methodology to engineering subject education. The modified PARTN teaching and learning model was applied, and pre-class survey, assessment on learning in pre-class, and post-class survey were conducted to analyze the effectiveness of flipped learning. The results were analyzed for 24 students who took the applied thermodynamics lecture. They were asked to take the course with the videos provided in the pre-class stage, and a pre-learning assessment was conducted to measure the completeness and understanding of the learning. As a result of the study, it was found that students with relatively excellent learning ability had excellent pre-learning evaluation results and excellent final academic achievement. In addition, the lower the pre-learning completion rate within the pre-learning period or the higher the learning rate using mobile devices, the more difficult it was to faithfully complete pre-learning, leading to poor pre-learning evaluation results. Meanwhile, the survey revealed that conducting pre-learning assessments were helpful in encouraging individual learning. In addition, cases reflecting pre-learning evaluation results to course grades showed higher pre-learning evaluation results than cases not reflecting pre-learning evaluation results to course grades, and in flipped learning classes, pre-learning evaluations act as a factor that promotes pre-class learning.

This paper describes the evaluation of the effectiveness of rehabilitation therapy for patients with finger paralysis based on a two-finger force measurement system (TFFMS). The paralyzed fingers can be recovered through rehabilitation therapies. The finger pressing force of the patients can be measured utilizing the TFFMS previously developed by the author [7]. The TFFMS, however, has not been fully adopted as a standard method for evaluating the therapy owing to the lack of a standard protocol. The pressing force of healthy volunteers and patients is analyzed with the TFFMS to explore the feasibility of the TFFMS as an evaluation device. The test confirms that the established standard protocol is useful to quantitatively assess the progress of finger rehabilitation therapy.

For the degradation of severe noise and ill-conditioned blur the optimization function has the solution spaces which have many local optima around global solution. General restoration methods such as inverse filtering or gradient methods are mainly dependent on the properties of degradation model and tend to be isolated into a local optima because their convergences are determined in the convex space. Hence we introduce genetic algorithm as a searching method which will search solutions beyond the convex spaces including local solutins. In this paper we introudce improved evaluation square error) and fitness value for gray scaled images. Finally we also proposed the local fine tunign of window size and visit number for delicate searching mechanism in the vicinity of th global solution. Through the experiental results we verified the effectiveness of the proposed genetic operators and evaluation function on noise reduction over the conventional ones, as well as the improved performance of local fine tuning.

An apparel products retrieval system was proposed in which users can refer to products using Kansei evaluation values. The system adopts relevance feedback using history of the retrieval to learn the tendency of user evaluation. The system is based on a vector space retrieval model using products images expression as semantic scales. The system makes a query from user inputting information and retrieves closest products from the database. Revising algorithms of the difference method. linear multiple regression performed to investigate the effectiveness and criteria of the search. As a result of evaluation of the accuracy, it was found that the linear multiple regression and the neural network models are effective for the retrieval considering the individual Kansei.

This paper introduces experimental results related to the vibration ride conditions that a korean male subject experienced in the nationwide railway trains and the express bus. Two types of railway train's Saemaulho and Mugunghwaho. and the express bus were chosen to measure how much the whole-body vibrations on the contact area of the back , hip and feet are exposed to the subject. Measured vibration signals were analysed to assess the rife conditions quantitatively and qualitatively. Analysed results are illustrated to unveil how much typical public transportation system in Korea expose whole-body vibration to passengers. Futhermore, the performance evaluation of their seats were carried out to examine their effectiveness in reducing vibration exposure to passengers.

본 논문에서는 문헌의 전문을 대상으로 얻어진 4개의 상이한 적합성 판정 세트가 전문검색시스템의 검색효율성 평가에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 각 적합성 판정 세트간의 검색효율성에는 주목할 만한 차이가 없는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이는 적합성 개념에 대한 다양한 관점이 검색효율성의 평가에는 커다란 영향을 미치지 못하고 있음을 암시하는 것이다. 그러나, 적합성 정보를 효과적으로 이용하는 정교한 검색기법인 적합성 피이드백을 통합한 검색실험은 계속 연구되어야 할 과제로 제시하고 있다.

Deck-plates are widely used on construction sites, and have the advantage of enabling contractors to achieve a relatively uniform quality. But nevertheless, quality deviation in deck-plate construction can occur as the result of differences in site conditions and the experience of crew workers. In this study, the authors present a site quality evaluation prototype for building deck-plate construction. Through analyses of case studies and interviews with experts, standard quality check sheets and a quality management index were developed by estimating the importance of quality check items based on a Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) method. The applicability and effectiveness of the prototype was evaluated through a case study and interviews with case participants. It was found that the prototype promoted an active quality management as a way of continuously improving quality management in deck-plate construction instead of passive quality inspection practice.

Purpose: This study was conducted to use as a preliminary data to improve the quality of clinical nursing education by comparing the perception of teaching effectiveness in nurses and nursing students. Method: The participants were 165 nurses and 289 nursing students. Data was collected from June 2 to 16, 2008. The research instruments used an effective clinical instructors which was developed by Reeve(1994). Result: The perception of teaching effectiveness in nurses and nursing students were 3.45 and 3.19 respectively and it showed that nurses' perception of teaching effectiveness are higher than that of nursing students. Nurses had strong points in the factors of "interpersonal relationship/ communication", "availability as a supporter", "teaching method and evaluation".In additions, the teaching effectiveness had significant differences to age, years of work, position, educational background and job satisfaction in nurses, otherwise, sex, differences of educational level, satisfaction of clinical practicum and major in students. Conclusion: It is needed a further study as below: to develop an education system which is to improve an interpersonal relationship and to upgrade the quality of educator; to develop a teaching method program of clinical nursing education to improve teaching effectiveness.

본 연구는 지하철방재대책의 일환으로 터널구간에 설치된 환기기의 제연절환 운전모드 및 승강장 선로부 환기장치를 포함한 6종류의 제연운전모드를 대상으로 승강장에 정차된 열차화재 시나리오에 따라 3차원 실시간 화재 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 제연방식별 열 및 연기전파특성을 규명함으로서, 승강장에서 열차 화재 발생시, 승객이 안전하게 최적 대피가 가능한 환기기의 제연절환 조합운전의 도출을 목표로 한다.

본 연구의 목적은 한국과 미국의 제도 비교를 통해 정부업무평가의 발전에 기여할 수 있는 환류의 효용성 제고 방안을 모색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 정무업무평의 환류제도와 관련하여 한국과 미국의 사례를 비교 분석하였다. 미국의 경우, 정책목표의 달성과 개선이라는 환류체계의 학습적 차원에 상대적으로 높은 수준으로 연동된 반면, 한국은 그러한 연계성이 분절적이고, 통제위주임을 확인할 수 있었다. 한국의 경우, 정부업무평가 체계가 집권형이며, 그 목적은 정책을 개선하고 이를 위한 학습보다는 평가대상의 통제에 치우져 있다. 미국의 경우, 자체부처의 자율성이 최대한 보장되는 체계를 갖추고, 해당부처가 제시한 목표의 명확성과 달성도를 최우선순위에 두고 있으며, 환류 또한 사후적이 아닌 상시적인 체계로 지원 및 학습체계를 갖추고 있는 점이 주목된다. 정부업무평가를 정책목표 달성과 연계될 수 있는 정책개선에 초점을 맞출 필요가 있다. 또한 사후적인 평가시스템을 분기별 모니터링 체제를 취하되, 통제가 아닌 정책목표를 달성할 수 있는 학습적, 지원적 시스템으로 전환하는 것이 필요하다.
