Decision Support System for Project Duration Estimation Model (프로젝트기간예측모델을 위한 의사결정지원시스템)

  • Despite their wide application of some traditional project management techniques like the Program Evaluation and Review Technique, they lack of learning, one of important factors in many disciplines today, due to a static view for project progression. This study proposes a framework for estimation by loaming based on a Linear Bayesian approach. As a project Progresses, we sequentially observe the durations of completed activities. By reflecting this newly available information to update the distribution of remaining activity durations and thus project duration, we can implement a decision support system that updates e.g., the expected project completion time as well as the probabilities of completing the project within the due bate and by a certain date. By implementing such customized system, project manager can be aware of changing project status more effectively and better revise resource allocation plans.

  • The purpose is this study is to investigate the children's, parents's, teachers consciousness to the use of calculator in mathematics loaming and to analyze the effect of the problem solving and computation ability. The results obtained by this research are as follows: (1) Most adults using calculator by computation tool. but they believed that if children use calculator, computation abilities might be reduced. (2) By using the calculator, We can do the followings : \circled1 to expand the computational ability from written computation to both mental computation and computational estimation, \circled2 to reinforce the problem solving abilities, \circled3 to obtain the interest and the curios on mathematics loaming. Therefore, we must endeavor actively for the broad usage of calculator in the mathematics class

  • We propose the intelligent tutoring system for the mobile english learning. The proposed system is based on the item response theory to analyze the level of learner. We define the types of item, teaching method and item disposition according to contents modeling. The system estimates the learner level and it gives the learning contents, the evaluation results, and feedback. The system gives those by inference engine which consists of learner's level estimation value, method diagnostic value and disposition diagnostic value.

  • This paper describes a new structure re create a pseudo Gaussian function network (PGFN). The activation function of hidden layer does not necessarily have to be symmetric with respect to center. To give the flexibility of the network, the deviation of pseudo Gaussian function is changed according to a direction of given input. This property helps that given function can be described effectively with a minimum number of center by PGFN, The distribution of deviation is represented by level set method and also the loaming of deviation is adjusted based on it. To demonstrate the performance of the proposed network, general problem of function estimation is treated here. The representation problem of continuous functions defined over two-dimensional input space is solved.

  • With the increasing service Qualify and security in the Mobile Internet Diameter technology based on the AAAv6 is being used in the user authentication. But there are some Problems on the authentication Procedures of the Diameter in which the security falls down from a loaming service or Internet transmission course. We combine it with the cipher algorithm like EAP-MD5 and accomplish a user authentication processing. If we want to supply the user authentication with the mobility among domains by AAAv6-based Diameter, we need the efficient capacity allocation among AAA attendent, AAAv, AhAb, AAAh, HA servers in the AAAv6. Therefore in this paper, we propose to make the authentication capacity index to carry out user authentication ability by analyzing an EAP-MD5S server capacity model of AAAv6 authentication models for users with mobility among domains, and to find the optimized condition for the AAAv6 capacity by the index.

Learning Time Prediction Model for Web-based Instruction (웹 기반 학습을 위한 학습 시간 예측 모델)

  • The Web-based instruction on the internet provides lots of learners with the related information and knowledge beyond time and space. But in the Web-based instruction, there is a problem that the teaming process statuses for learners can be known only through an exam. This paper introduces a web monitoring method to check whether the learner has some problems in learning process and to be able to find out the students with the problems. In the method this paper proposes a learning time prediction model for predicting the proper next study time intervals based on the learner`s learning times and grades on Previous learning units. This method provides the educator with the learning Process statuses for learners. The Loaming prediction model for web-based monitoring can be used to stimulate learners to take the good teaming processes by sending automatically alerting messages if their real teaming times exceeds on his predicted learning time interval. The results of the estimation through case study on the web-based monitoring to use the teaming time prediction model show that most of on-line learners with Poor teaming process statuses get poor grades. In addition, the results show that learner`s poor habits keep going on without change.
